Part of my yummy pecan waffle. I was looking forward to it. Very good.

What can I say other than the typical Waffle House experience. Great staff efficient service food ordered and cooked quickly. I always get the same the one w the waffle 2 eggs toast hash brown and bacon. Love the crispy bacon and add pecans to the waffle and ask for the hash brown crispy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place can get loud with the orders being taken and the open kitchen. Sometimes a the jukebox it is a bit lively.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love to go here when visiting my momma and brother. Good fast inexpensive just like a Waffle House should be.

trying places that aren't in cali #2 reminds me of dennys hmMmM hits the spot especially at midnight. we ordered the steak hashbrown with cheese bowl, waffles on the side (because duh waffle house), and hot sausages with toast and sunny side up eggs... saur yommy i was full by the end side note: the marketing decor is so simple and cute like the lights indoors and the logo outside lol there's a jukebox inside too -- great southern hospitality !!

    He's a brick..... (waffle)... House!

If you dug yourself a hole, you probably went to SHOVEL HOUSE If you want to apologize, get on your knees and GROVEL HOUSE If you're Tom Hanks, then you're probably at APOLLO HOUSE But if you want hash browns, come right now to WAFFLE HOUSE If it's Xmas time then they will decorate, it's BAUBLE HOUSE In 1985 Chicago it's the Superbowl SHUFFLE HOUSE If they hire really old baristas then it's FOSSIL HOUSE But if you want the best Patty Melt, you come to WAFFLE HOUSE If they try Lebanese-Taiwanese Fusion it's FALAFEL HOUSE If they do double-size dishes it's F**king COLOSSAL HOUSE And if they serve straight liquor to pre-teens then it's UNLAWFUL HOUSE But if you want the best late night food, then you go to WAFFLE HOUSE If you're speeding like a motherf**ker then it's THROTTLE HOUSE And if you have to stop for gas then please replace the NOZZLE HOUSE And if you crash and break your leg, still come here, you can HOBBLE HOUSE Because there's nothing better than the hash browns here at WAFFLE HOUSE If you're religious, go to ST JOHN THE APOSTLE HOUSE If you want a crappy meal, go instead to AWFUL HOUSE If Barbi and me take you to our workplace then it's BROTHEL HOUSE But if you want the best patty melt, go to WAFFLE HOUSE If you're a dictator then we're all going to TOPPLE HOUSE If you wanna f*** an ugly person try BEER GOGGLE HOUSE And if you're drunk and you can't get it up then just give ORAL HOUSE But if you want the best late night food, go to WAFFLE HOUSE! WHAT! So if you walk like a duck and talk like a duck, then you should go to Waddle House instead. This is an absolutely wonderful Waffle House on every level. They had some of the best service imaginable and were open during the storm. However, they were not very nice to us on the second night when we came back here hoping for some more food, and wouldn't let anybody in even though our part of the city had no power or food, and they did here in Stafford. But I can understand considering the circumstances. Based on that experience I would have given and one star because it was a nightmare. But if I focus just on the first night and how well they treated us, I will give them five stars. However, the third trip will be the Tell-Tale. When the storm hit there was nobody as welcoming and wonderful as these guys honestly. That's why I choose only to review them based on the first night. In any case, I have always been in love with Waffle House Hash Browns. I get them with everything on them - even the Jalapenos, although sometimes not the cheese. Especially the chunks of ham and the chili, so good. They often make me run to the bathroom though. This place makes them as well as any... absolutely spectacular Hash Browns all the way... especially with the onions, ham, chili. And their patty melt, and chicken patty melt - sensational. And don't get me started on that awesome sausage breakfast sandwich. My reviews are full of waffle, and so is Waffle House. Match made in heaven, am I right.

Great: The waffle. Simple and good. They have a few extra toppings options as well. Everything else was just good.

All star special +2 eggs (waffle on the way) & two egg breakfast +4 eggs (bacon on the way) with hash browns capped and covered

My absolute favorite waffle house location. I've looked through some of the lower rated reviews and... It's pretty clear that people don't know the vibe of a waffle house/don't appreciate it. The people are so friendly, the staff is quick, they are always busy but handle it with such efficiency that it would make Chick-fil-A blush. So much so that they actually have somebody who will usually see you during the busy times to facilitate first come first serve tables. Not to mention some of the best bacon I have ever had in my life have come from this WH. I will continue to be a loyal customer and a frequent visitor of this location.

I love Waffle House! Unfortunately I don't live close to one so when I'm in the city I have to indulge. My bacon was crispy goodness, my eggs were scrambled with cheese and perfectly cooked. My hash browns were crispy on the outside, soft in the middle and my waffle was the same way! The southern hospitality was everything it should be warm, inviting, and a true family environment. This was a great time with my love and an even better meal. Whenever I'm in H-Town I'll know where to go. Thank you!

    Crushed it.

Right. So it is Waffle House. What is there that hasn't been said? Walking into this ridiculously busy establishment we were greeted by the songs of the entire staff yelling "Good morning!". Having had a...well...let's just say "spirited" evening the night before, the only thing on my mind was coffee and a steak patty melt for breakfast. What? Yes. I said steak patty melt for breakfast. Oh come on...it comes with hash browns...and we got a waffle on the side...so technically...it is breakfast. Quit your whining. We were sat at the bar in less than 5 minutes and within 30 seconds I had loving coffee. I am not sure how much magic powder they sprinkle into theirs at the WH...but it is worth every cent and every loving drop. The steak patty melt. It is just unfair to other breakfast establishments how...damn...good this is. I have eaten at some hoity toity breakfast places recently...which cannot hold a CANDLE to the WH. Pair all this with the lovingly prepared waffle and I was on my way to food coma heaven. The staff? Sweet as can be. Cecilia took care of us promptly. And when the cooks were in the weeds, we watched the manager begin to expo for them. Great team work!!! So. Ridiculously unhealthy breakfast for 2. Maximal flavor. Great staff. Great coffee. 2 VERY satisfied customers for a little over $20. You would be mad not to love you some WH. MAD.

It's refreshing to visit a restaurant where you can count on getting exactly what you ordered every single time. The menu is huge, with something for everyone. Whether you're craving omelettes, waffles, pancakes, French toast, hearty breakfast platters, lunch or dinner, there are plenty of options to choose from. My personal favorite is the portobello mushroom and swiss omelette with grilled tomatoes, a side of breakfast potatoes and a side of crispy bacon. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable with that classic neighborhood breakfast spot feel. It's one of my favorite breakfast spots in Houston, and I'll definitely keep coming back.

They ordered a strip steak, salmon, and a salad, and I didn't hear a single complaint from their side of the table. The staff were incredibly friendly and made a point of welcoming me as an actual guest instead of just someone's dog. Between the dedicated dog menu, the spacious patio, and the warm service, it's easy to see why this place is so popular with pet owners. My wife and I have been to WC several times before for lunch, happy hour, and dinner but this was our first time for brunch. We had 1pm reservations and the sky looked like it was going to pour down ran any moment. Our hostess was very kind and let us pick the table we wished to sit in order to get a good view of the bar and windows to keep an eye on the weather and the arrival of our family members. Our server, Dane, was in top form and gave us suggestions for a starter. We were torn between the Jalapeno-gouda biscuits, Candied Bacon and other tasty sounding dishes and quickly agreed the Goat Cheese Fondue. The dish arrived shortly after our whole party was seated. Dane had great presentation as he drizzled olive oil over the steamy, bubbling cheese dish that looked amazing, smelled wonderful, and tasted even better. Melted goat goat cheese with a blend of olives, roasted tomatoes, garlic confit and thyme that we generously spread over warm toast points. It was all devoured in no time. Dane returned to clear our plates and took our order. The brunch menu is an exploration in so many things to suit your breakfast or lunch craving. We ordered the Strawberry Short Stack, the Hangover Burger, Brunch Sandwich, and the Steak and Egg Hash. Out of curiosity we also ordered a side of the Green Chile Cheese Grits. My wife and I love to share so the Strawberry Short Stack and Brunch Sandwich were perfect for dividing. Those pancakes are picture perfect, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet. Interestingly, Dane had asked if we wanted the toppings of strawberry compote, vanilla anglaise, whipped strawberry butter, and lemon shortbread crumble on the side so we could control the sweetness. For us that was the perfect suggestion as we were able to individually taste each accoutrement to build our perfect bite. The Brunch Sandwich was fantastic. Sometimes a breakfast sandwich can appear to be unwieldy but in this case it was manageable to cut in half and handle appropriately, The everything bagel was the right vehicle for this savory bite of fried-medium egg, layered with applewood smoked bacon, pickled Fresno peppers (for nice pop of spice), greens, american cheese, and a garlic-basil aioli. I didn't taste the Hangover Burger nor the Steak and Egg Hash, perhaps because I was a bit gorged on the pancakes and sandwich but the dishes looked amazing and I have a mental shortlist for the next time we dine at WC. Oh, and I did mention that we were curious about the Green Chile Cheese Grits. Out of this world! Those grits stole the show. We all kept commenting on them. Get them. You will be rewarded. When we dine we always expect good food. For us, service is the reason to come back. Dane was an outstanding server. He had personality and hospitality which is rare these days. He was conversationally engaging. He never lingered too long, always seemed to anticipate what we might need, politely asking to clear plates. Hat's off to Dane. Thank you Whiskey Cake for delivering a great dining experience to kick-off Father's Day weekend. We will be back.
