This is the Texas Bacon Patty Melt (extra pickles). Love it!!

Come during off hours and it's the best. I come around 10-1130 and always get a seat and great service. The ambiance is a Waffle House so you know this going in. Still the tables are wiped down and the coffee is a flowing.

Well it Opened Yesterday and I'm posting Today after my 1st of many Visits to come!!! If You love Waffle House and I do, You will be Happy with this New Edition to the Waffle House Family. Now I'm a Breakfast Man and Waffle House is the Place for a Great Breakfast. The Staff was Welcoming and our waitress Kimberly made it that much Better. Also the District Manager Jamelle was in the House and stopped by to leave a couple of Waffle Bonuses for our Next Visit. Ok I got to admit I'm already Hooked on this Location and only Expect it to get Better.

Hate to be that person since I've been going to Waffle House since I was a youngin so it saddens me to see what it's become. In my most recent visit It was giving very much unsanitary- Literally probably crossed multiple health violations . I ordered the bacon cheeseburger meal and my bacon was literally charcoal! And they thought I was gone gobble that shit up , and I was like totally not having it . AND when I asked for the waiter to take it back they made it seem like they burnt they bacon on the daily... Anyways , I don't know if it was because it was 12 in the morning and everybody was just tired asl but next time I come back I expect better

Waffle House is not what it used to be, employees make their own decisions as to what the store hours are and if they will serve dine in or carry out only. Waffle House regional manager for Grenville South Carolina publicly said last week Waffle House will remain open and ready to serve during inclement weather including this past weekend snow storm. I say it's all a bunch of lies for a regional manager (Mike Barnes), who probably lives on a beach in Florida somewhere. I'm beyond fed up with having to drive to a location to be told the restaurant is only serving dine in customers. What differences does it make?

Sat at bar for 15 minutes. No one ever said anything to us. Ignored the whole time. It wasn't that busy either.

I went in the Farmer's Market first. It looks like an old barn. There were lots and lots of homemade choices- "canned" soup bases, fruits, vegetables, salsas, jams, flavored oils to name a few. There were also fresh fruits, nuts, honey, vegetables, dairy products and cakes. There are four areas you can eat. The main "restaurant" is small with only a few tables. Evidently it's a favorite of older local gentlemen to gather for an early breakfast. There is also the "Pig Sty," "The Chicken Coop" and the farmer's market area. Some of these can be cold in the winter and warm in the summer so dress accordingly. The farmer's market area is heated by a wood stove. The staff here are so friendly. It felt like we were visiting family. The food was good ole country food. The hubby and I each ordered the breakfast plate. I had coffee with my choice of several flavored creamers. If you pay in cash you get a discount. If you are in the area you should check it out. You can order from the breakfast or lunch menu. Plan to stay a few extra minutes and look around and support local farmers. We brought home some boiled peanuts. Fun experience and good breakfast.

My girlfriends and I went for girls night, and I loved how the place was packed with women. Such a cool idea. We got the rosemary beignets, and they were really good. Loved the butter that came with it too, and the parm. Very tasty. I had the half chicken, and it was maybe the best chicken I have ever had. Seriously, I know what I am ordering next time, and the time after, because it was so good. I didn't enjoy the sides as much. I had the pomme puree and the roasted vegetables. It's strange that the mashed potatoes were flavorless and mealy, and the veggies were meh. That said, the chicken was awesome, and I will come back for that alone.

My French dip sandwich with fries were excellent !!! Unfortunately the duck in the jambalaya was very difficult to cut and way too oily and messy to handle. Chicken salad sandwich was very good. Thank you so much for the complimentary sparkling wine toast for our birthday girl! Nice touch!! The iced tea came with the Jambalaya dish but unfortunately she forgot to serve it with the entrees. We reminded Rebecca so she served it at the end of our meal with the beignets. She was very friendly and professional and overall, she did give us great customer service.

The Cowboy Bene had perfectly poached eggs and the hollandaise sauce was absolutely delicious, rich but not overpowering. The Jazzy Omelet was also great. We asked for the gravy on the side since we're usually not huge gravy people... but honestly, after tasting it, we probably could have had it right on top! The best way I can describe Maverick is that it's like if Biscuit Head and Maple Street Biscuit Company had a baby and if you know those places, you know that's a high compliment. They also have a really cool jam and butter bar, which was a fun touch and gave us a chance to try a few different flavors with the biscuits. From the outside it's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall spot, and you could honestly drive right past it without realizing what you're missing. But in my experience, those are often the best places--and this one definitely proves that point. The staff was friendly, the service was prompt, and the whole experience felt relaxed and welcoming. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
