I am not a fan of Waffle House but we don't have many choices here in town. However we've always had good service here and the food has actually been good as well. We went to Waffle House for my Mother's Day lunch, and it was exactly what I wanted. It seems other mothers did as well, so we did have to wait for a booth. The waitress was wonderful, and took good care of our table by making sure our coffees were always full. The inside of the restaurant is consistent with other Waffle Houses, so it is cold and had mildly dated pictures on the wall. The bathroom had a leaky toilet, but luckily it was the fresh water valve, so not the complete end of the world. Although my little still managed to get their clothes wet from it, which was not the best thing. I'm amazed at the price of an All Star Special, and the fact that it no longer includes coffee. But that's what always get, so that's what I got for Mother's Day. They were about to clean the griddle, but we were able to get our order in before this happened, so we didn't have to wait for that process to occur before getting our meal. It was one of the best waffles I've had at a Waffle House, and my littles did a good job of behaving, so it was a wonderful trip. read more

I just left there... just getting off work, I recently moved to solar city and I had been seeing the waffle house. I had not seen a waffle house in North Carolina. After being here for 2 years, I moved from liberty, North Carolina to solar city and I finally for the 1st day ever stop by 2 get breakfast, I walked in. The waitress with black hair was very rude. She just asks me. Do you know you what you wanna order? And I said, good morning, then she mumbles, good morning, not even looking up at me and then asks me, do you know what you want to order? I then said no I do not and she gave me a menu when she gave me that menu. In such a very rude manner. I just got up and walked off.I will never ever return there again. read more

Good food but breakdown in communication with newly hired waitress created dissatisfaction. New waitress several times sat down to text, apparently oblivious of the demands of front-of-house work. There is NO TIME EVER to check in with a friend or relative while on the job. Period. This issue created more work for the others on the team and definitely affected our experience because she was our waitress. Kudos to the chick training, but I would say its hopeless. You either get it or you don't. She don't. Meanwhile other customers were getting the exact orders they placed and they didn't experience the levels of frustration we encountered. Of course when you're new to a job there are always angles to learn, but at least be attentive to what those angles might be and watch and listen and anticipate. To best serve as a waitress imagine that that customer is your brother or your boyfriend or your child or your mother and you are taking care of them while they sit at the table. That means bringing silverware, asking how they want their food prepared, and then bringing it with a smile and ask if there's anything further they need. It's simple. This is your typical Waffle House experience here, decent food, moderately high prices, hit or miss service and a more times than not- not so clean atmosphere. Zero stars! Music was so loud my ears hurt. Asked staff to turn it down and she lied and said corporate controls it. Really they control the jukebox. Staff was rude but that was understandable because there was a huge group talking extremely loud. Tables weren't cleaned. We placed our order and it kept getting louder so we canceled and left. This location needs to closed and remodeled. Only Waffle House we've ever left even when the wait was long. And this wasn't a wait at all. read more

Great option for quick meal. The service was fast and polite. Food was well cooked and fresh like you want it.

We got there late in the evening around 10pm. My 9 year old ordered a waffle and bacon. I ordered a chicken wrap. The service was decent and she spent time answering my son's questions. My son ate his entire waffle before my food came out or his bacon. So, he had bacon with me. My wrap tasted good and I enjoyed it... until about 330am. I'm not sure what was wrong with the wrap, but I can just say that I lost some good sleep because of it. I had to miss work the next morning because of it. I don't think I'll be eating there again for awhile. The other thing and I realize this is the 'norm' for Waffle House, but WHY does it have to be SO cold in there? read more

There have been days when the food was great, but today was not one of those days. My grits were hard and clumpy, gross. And my waffle was literally almost black on one side, so I told my waitress and she did nothing about it? It tasted terrible. I think i'm going to stick with local family restaurants from now on because that rubbed me the wrong way. read more

Went to this location on two different occasions, on both visits my glass of water had food particles inside. Not the best choice if you're expecting a clean place to enjoy a meal. read more
