We've been dedicated Biscuitville patrons for many years but noticed the quality of the food at the three locations we normally stop at, had really gotten bad. We decided to try Biscuit Co., in Ramsuer, NC. It was my first time, though my husband ate there once many, many years ago. It was BY FAR THE BEST biscuit I've ever eaten at a restaurant. I got the steak, egg, and cheese; while my husband got a sausage biscuit and also a fried bologna biscuit. We both got hashbrowns; he got an orange juice and I got a black coffee. It took a bit to get the food because they made it all fresh. I'd gladly wait for food that tastes that good. The steak was tender. Seriously, you didn't need teeth to chew it. It was well seasoned also. Nothing like the greasy, styrofoam I've received the past several times I've gone to Biscuitville. In fact, Biscuitville steak had gotten so bad, I just stopped ordering it all together. But this place?? Man.... It was so good!!! The egg was fluffy, and the cheese actually tasted like cheese. The biscuit its self was buttery, flaky, moist, yet stayed perfectly together with every bite. My husband loved the sausage, and said it tasted like sausage was supposed to taste versus what other places are using these days. He also enjoyed the bologna biscuit as well as it had two pieces of bologna. The coffee was hot and fresh. Staff was friendly and actually checked the bag to make sure our order was correct and all there, before handing it to us and that's something you don't see at most places. It was very much appreciated!!! We went through the drive-thru so I can't speak on the ambiance or interior. It's obvious from the outside that it's an old restaurant but it had a 95.5 sanitation grade, so I'm assuming it was clean. Negatives: the sausage patty was very good, but it was way too small for the size of the biscuits, which are MASSIVE!!! The pictures don't do the size of these biscuits justice. Hashbrowns were actually tater tots but they were perfectly cooked and tasted good. We will definitely make this place a habitual stop when we're traveling through the area. read more

The biscuits and service were amazing! I ordered a Sausage, Egg and Cheese biscuit which was about the size of a Burger King Whopper and my husband got the chicken platter which had A LOT of food; it all was very delicious. I also got a cinnamon roll which was huge! The hash browns were actually tots but whatever grease they use makes them taste delicious. There lemonade and sweet tea smh I didn't want to drink it cause it was soooo good! The price for it all, you definitely can't bet it! I will definitely be making weekend trips to go back for breakfast! read more

If you want fresh, southern, artery clogging, delicious biscuits -- this is THE place to go. The large biscuits are the size of a burger. I got the country ham and there was at least four times the amount of meat that you get at one of the chain restaurants. If you are from Charlotte and visiting the NC Zoo, drive the extra 15 minutes, it's worth it. It feels good to support a local business too. read more

Just right. The biscuits from Biscuit Company really hit the spot. Although not my favorite place to get morning biscuits, this place still does better than a lot of the competition. In fact, in an early morning drive through this little community, I found Biscuit Company to be the perfect choice. While these are not fluffy, buttery, biscuits, they do have the perfect, slightly crispy, golden brown crust that can make or break the overall morning biscuit experience for me. The biscuits are Awesome! Those who complain that they are too big need to stay home and pop open a can of refrigerator biscuits

I've been here twice, and they overcharged me both times, mixing my order up with someone else's. While I don't really mind this mistake once, twice is inexcusable. Both times I paid with my card; the first time the cashier graciously gave me my change in cash, so no big deal. The second time the woman didn't even bat an eye. I decided to go to the Biscuit Co. this morning. The restaurant is a small 'mom n pops' operation. Upon entering I did not feel like just another number in line. I was greeted with a quick "Hello and Welcome"! A very nice accomadation that is found few and far between in the day and time we live. The menu is geared more toward the breakfast meal. They do serve burgers and hot dogs at the lunch hour too! Biscuits may be ordered at any time of the day too. I ordered a sausgae and egg biscuit combination. The biscuit is nice and fluffy. It was not greasy. The egg was cooked just right. It was not dried out as they can be prone to. The sausage served was very lean and had an awesome flavor to it! The side I chose was the hash browns. They know how to cook the 'taters'! They are seasone with a blend of spices and peppers. Very tasty. I bypassed the coffee for the fountain Mr. Pibb xtra. All in all, an awesome breafast experience!
