They have somewhat of a variety of items that I may be looking for in the grocery section but try to keep in mind what they don't in order to get elsewhere. They have a few different types of cut meats at the butcher section of the store, such as beef, chicken and pork. I do ask if they have other special cuts in case they have it in their freezer section which is located somewhere in their building. I have not really had the pleasure to sit down and eat or take to go meals from the restaurant. However I do try to get their fresh cooked Carnitas on the weekends and their chicharrón (meaty pork skin) but I have notice that the chicharrón have lacked flavor and are overly deep fried. Since I am not a big fan of sweet potato the bartender brought me fries instead to go with my side of Beer Cheese which is well worth the added cost. Depending on when you go, you may have to go inside to order at the bar for the outdoor seating (such as I did today). Other days when the TED is busier and peak times you can order at the outdoor bar. For solo lunch dining I prefer other options in the TED but Ferus is great for groups and outdoor dining.
