END OF AN ERA: Waffle House, especially our local one, has been a favorite since we moved here in 2010. Today we went for brunch at about 2:15pm and were sadly disappointed. The waitresses were no longer friendly, chatty or attentive, but cold and uncaring and unwilling to make eye contact (like most of the help we've dealt with under the age of about 35-40 with rare exceptions, like Chick FilA). Our orders were correct and close- mine was correct, my wife's I ncluded grits she didn't order and dry toast with no jelly or butter provided. The response to the grits was to decant the eggs and toast onto a different, smaller plate, inundating the toast with scrambled eggs with cheese. My wife had to go grab her own jelly for her toast. Finally, what used to cost $19-20 is now $27.50 which is WAY high for two small breakfasts. Checkout cashier made no adjustment for the grits and also wouldn't make eye contact. In summary, a formerly pleasant, friendly and totally dependable breakfast/brunch place close to home, is now a thing of the past, missing the homey atmosphere, pleasant contact from servers, and now priced out of reach. Very VERY sad and disappointing. That plus about a 45% increase in price makes it a past-tense for us. Another pleasant Southern tradition ground into the dust. read more

We saw one of these and every exit from North Carolina to Georgia. Hadn't been to one in 20 years, but figured it was worth a try It was a little dirty, but the staff was very nice and the food was pretty good. It's exactly what you would expect from the waffle house, so if you need decent food, for a cheap price, it's worth a start. read more

This is one of the better Waffle Houses I've been to. The eggs are never greasy and my chicken sandwich is always perfect. I live in Hapeville and the ones up there are horrible. read more

Super professional, super friendly. Great teamwork. I'm sitting here watching in amazement the way they work together.

The food was amazing as always. My problem is with the server we had. Her name is Nancy. My wife and I sat at the bar. When we sat down. Nancy didn't say a word to us for about 5 minutes even though she saw us sit down. The only time she said anything was when she asked us our order. Even then she seemed like we were bothering her. When the food was ready, she handed me mine, but threw my wife's plate on the table and the sound could be heard through the restaurant. No apology was given. The while we were eating, Nancy was washing dishes behind the bar, which is fine, but when she splashes dish water and it landed on my wife, she begrudgingly threw out "Sorry". Again no kind words of any kind were said in our general direction. But when another customer came and sat two seats down from me, Nancy gave her such great attitude. She said good morning, complimented her on her outfit, etc. I'm sorry to say that the only difference between my wife and I and the other customer is that she's white, and we're not. read more

I saw the reviews and can see why it's 2 stars lol. Only 2 cooks and maybe six people and they acted like it was super packed. Didn't greet us or offer us anywhere to sit. When there was empty tables but were blocked off she said someone would clean it off and it was only 2 of them. So who would've cleaned it if not them. No thanks. Not worth it. read more

Meh. I think my infatuation with Waffle House is over. They've taken my usual (the Fiesta Omelet) off the menu and didn't replace it with anything that appeals to me at all. It seems like their menu has been downsized quite a bit while their prices have gone up. The service at this particular location was okay, but the food was just not that wonderful - eggs and sausage were okay - the hash browns were disappointingly dry and boring. Overall, we were underwhelmed. I have always loved Waffle House and have insisted on stopping there on road trips at least once, but I fear that era of my life may be over. Sighhh... read more

Waffle House has always been my go to place for a breakfast of grits and eggs for not much money. I watched, however, as numerous staff behind the counter walked around without a mask. I don't think the staff here quite gets the significance of the mask in protecting their customers. If you are walking through the food prep area without a mask, while talking, you are potentially spreading coronavirus. If you are cleaning tables without a mask, all while talking to people, you are potentially spreading coronavirus. If you are emptying the garbage without a mask, while talking to customers across the counter, you are potentially spreading coronavirus. If the staff here can't take the necessary precautions to protect their customers from coronavirus, I'll eat elsewhere. No mask, I'll pass. read more

Hate to admit but I eat at Waffle House more then I should. Stopped at this location in route to Florida and had the best meal and service I've ever had in WH. Finally, a place that understands what over medium eggs mean. Visited 9:15 am on a Saturday. read more

Thought I'd eat a full breakfast for a change, went into Waffle House at I-85 and Bullsboro. Place was about 1/3 full, but plenty of tables and counter space open. Immediately waited on for coffee order, the service was good. I ordered scrambled eggs with grits and wheat toast. Food came in about 5 minutes, I thought very fast. Food looked good, actually a "menu picture" food presentation, I really didn't expect it. Food was very good also, I'm going 4+ for the food. Pretty good breakfast place here. read more

Hostess allows people to cut in line and go sit at any table they please without getting in line. Sever is good depending who it is. I would not recommend coming in the mornings! read more

It's pretty much like every other Waffle House you've ever been to. Very busy on Saturday mornings.

Showed up with 10 coworkers. Staff ignored us. Tables had plates on them. Lady kept sweeping. F them.

It is waffle house, you get what you get. The cooks are really good at this one though. The servers are pretty good as well. Keely is a rock star, she works harder than the rest and is very attractive. She will go far. read more

This waffle is so awful bcuz my husband n I went there for lunch n when we got our drinks I had a spider in my drink n mine n my husband's lemonade tasted horruble. It had no flavor all we could taste most of the water. The whole place was not clean at all. If I were I would recommend going there. I rather go to McDonald's that's how bad they are read more

Walked in to this waffle house, no one said a thing, stood waiting for a table to be cleaned and nothing waited for 5 mins for the waitress that was doing nothing to clean the table. We ended up walking out!!!! So Cracker Barrel ended up with our money!!!' read more
