Can't hate on all the Waffle Houses of the world. There's something about their waffles that I love. Simple. Cheap. Delicious. And our service was superb!!

We stopped here for lunch......... The portions were skimpy...... The staff was alright tho....

Eggs were suppose to be rover medium and the white wasn't even cooked.

Really disappointed. I love Waffle House but this was bad. Burnt bacon that came out 15 min after everything else and the eggs I ordered over medium didn't even cook the white. The white was slimy and wet! Plus the waffles have changed. And not for the better. Add to that the service was sad. Young man was polite but really not aware.

Service was decent, ordered smothered, covered , chunk (cheese, onions, ham). Hash browns came out at first with nothing, to be returned overcooked 4 little chunk pieces of ham, little onion & a slice of cheese. We were literally the only table in the restaurant. Explains why Cracker Barrel was busy. At least the restroom was clean.

Courtney was friendly, sweet, and took great care of us for breakfast this morning! Really quick service, our meal was ready in no time. I love the sweetness of the waffles here and their fluffy semi-sogginess. The hash browns were also delicious, salty enough but not too salty, crispy enough not too crispy. The establishment was clean, including the restrooms, and well-lit. Good location! The employees seemed to have good report and worked well together, which is great to see. =)

Always good as long as you visit in the AM. Evening is the polar opposite. The last time I visited in the PM, they didn't even know how to cook their signature omelette!! Morning is always efficient, filing, and fast!!

Hashbrown bowl. No sausage.

ive always said waffle house is overrated, but i actually enjoyed my breakfast here. for one, on a saturday morning in the rain this place was packed. however, the service was on point. everyone is happier than ever, and they are super organized with the lines and wait. the sweet tea here is addictive. i highly suggest getting the bowl. i got the hashbrown bowl with cheese and eggs, minus the sausage. as usual the hashbrowns are undercooked, which is something i noticed at every wafflehouse. but honestly, the bowl was good and who can beat the price? i spent under 10 and left full.

They have limited lunchtime only hours and we came toward the end of their day so it wasn't too crowded. That meant that we got to chat up the staff and one of the cooks even came out while we were eating and checked up on us. Fun conversations. The staff was super cool and friendly and that goes a long way with me. The food here is very good with lots of choices. We chose the chicken fried chicken and the meatloaf. For sides we had the mac n cheese, corn pudding, chicken and dumplings and for dessert, a slice of the delectable pecan pie. Everything we had was scrumptious! However, my wife likes my meatloaf better though (bless her heart!). The chicken fried chicken breading was light but dense and full of flavor. It complimented the chicken well (so did the gravy!). The sides were yummy as well. If I lived in the area, I'd eat here several times a week. Definitely will return here one day. This place is iconic and if in Nashville, you need to check it out.

Such a classic comfort food spot with a super friendly server and an easy setup where you get in line, grab your food, then find a table. The fried fish was honestly the star. Perfectly crispy on the outside while still soft and flaky inside. So satisfying. The fried pork chop was a little dry for my taste, but all the sides were delicious and made up for it. The mac and cheese especially was sooo good. Overall, really comforting Southern food with a welcoming atmosphere and definitely worth trying if you want a more authentic Nashville experience.

Their cinnamon cream syrup was absolutely delish! I left my purse at the table after breakfast and didn't notice until the restaurant had closed for the day and we ended up getting ahold of someone and they came to open the doors for us so I could get my purse to make my flight at the airport later the same day! I'll start off by saying I'm not the biggest fan of pancakes, nor cinnamon and have to be in the mood for both. Today happened to be the day. I tried their pancake sampler, with cinnamon, Caribbean and banana bread pancakes. They were all good, fluffy, airy and flavorful. Banana bread with their maple syrup, Caribbean with cinnamon. But, their cinnamon pancakes were amazing!! Those were definitely the winner!!! Best pancakes I've ever had. Their three pig omelette was pretty bomb as well. I got some of their sausage gravy on the side, to douse the omelette and that was definitely the move there. I think this is the first time I didn't need to use cholula for flavoring. The location is centralized, set up nicely, with huge open indoor space with plenty of seating outside. The service was great as well. Attentive and fast. All in all, I wish I had the time to come here yesterday, so I could try something different today. But, I took the place for everything it had and it definitely delivered. Highly recommend and I will be back, when I'm in the area for sure!

There's a row of boots on the wall, which I think is for display only and a call out to the time when they actually sold boots here. This historic building itself feels like a shotgun (long and narrow) and apparently once served as a Civil War warehouse and later the Sho-Bud Steel Guitar Company. To prolong our stay, we ordered cheeseburgers and beer (fries and onion rings were extra) for brunch. I tried to interest folks in their $6 "Recession Special" - A grilled or fried bologna sandwich piled high, with a bag of potato chips, a Moon Pie, and a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) beer, but got no takers. We sat up on the balcony, which we had all to ourselves and with a nice view to the main floor below. Our waitresses were down home friendly, hard working, and good at what they were doing. We felt right at home and this was perhaps the most classic and authentic Nashville experience we had here. The band even wished my Happy Birthday. :)
