Omg the best Waffle House by far and I eat Waffle House a lot!! Chelsey, Adri, Jackie are the most amazing employees I ever encounter. First time here order two sausage eggs and grit bowls, Hash brown bowl, All star with chocolate chip waffle, and grill chicken and waffles. Was going to get it to go but they were so great we ate in. Did I mention the food tasted extra good!!! Will definitely come back when traveling. read more

Lumberton NC Waffle House was very clean. Staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of. I had my usual All Star Breakfast and it was good. It was what I expect from Waffle House. This is o e of the better ones. read more

Me and my husband walked in today (Saturday at 4pm - on Nov 10) to a completely empty store. All the employees were sitting and eating in a booth in the back and not one of them greeted us when we walked in. I mention that it was empty because not one employee verbally acknowledged us and they barely looked our way when we walked in. It's not as if the place was slammed with guests or anyone was cleaning or cooking anything. The entire place was silent until we walked in. I don't take issue with employees taking time to eat if it's slow, but to not even care that two paying customers came in is unacceptable. We stood around for about a couple of minutes waiting for the employees to get up and let us know that they'd take our orders shortly, but they never did. The most they did was look back at us, and I'm not sure if they thought our presence was an annoyance or they were waiting for us to come to them. We walked out and saw them staring us down until we got into our car. The looking back/staring continued when we were in our car (we parked in front of the giant windows, in clear view of the sitting workers) until we drove off. Overall it was an extremely unpleasant and AWKWARD situation. Please get new employees, or encourage your current employees to take pride in their work or train them in customer service because there was none today. read more

Not good. We traveled all day and it was approaching Midnight (basically our only choice left for a bite to eat). Every table was filthy and uncleared - we were told "takeout only." Ok - fair enough. We ordered 2 Grilled Cheese sandwiches with Hash Browns "to go." The order took over 30 minutes to fill. During this time "sketchy" customers came in wrapped in blankets - whose orders were filled first (preferred customers?), the 2 staff members arguing and no attempt for a clearing of the dirty tables. The food itself was "meh." There was a greasy taste that unpleasantly lingered. This surely was not the Waffle House finest hour. read more

Noisiest little dump I have ever eaten at, the staff was yelling the whole time and arguing and treating each other. service was disgusting. I had a omelet and hash browns, how do you mess that up? they did it was dry and horrible. probably won't eat at another waffle house again because of this experience, My daughter loves waffles but she will have to make them at home! read more

Driving down from the north to the south you see Waffle House everywhere. This is my first experience here. It's nothing I expected at all. Waitress was nice. She took my order then actually cooked it herself in my view. I was a little if-y about what I was going to be served but food ended up being alright. Good prices too. read more

I call in a to go order about 20 mins before I go to pick it up. I walked in and everyone greets me but no one actually made eye contact with me or came to help me. Another girl walks in and they do the same thing. Then a lady finally comes up for me to pay for my order. But I guess because the girls ticket that was behind me was on top the lady decided to ring her out first. Since when do you just pick and choose who you ring out first, I thought it was whom ever was next in line. By then I was a little pissed at the poor customer service. And then they proceed to take their time getting me my food that should have already been done. read more

1. Poor service 2. Dirty tables that were dirty when I came in & were still dirty when I left. I was in there for over an hour, 20 minutes of it were waiting for them to clean a table. Once we got a table, another family was sat before us. Could it have been discrimination? I'll leave it at that. 3 There was one worker, not doing a single thing, except on her phone & acting like she was doing something. 4. The waiter we had didn't come a single time to ask if we needed anything. I had to ask another waiter, who kept walking back and forth between OTHER tables to bring us more coffee. She did though go to another table full of guys to flirt and ask them what they needed constantly. 5. Food was ok, but then again it tasted like all the other restaurants around here...bacon looked burnt though, unless you like it crunchy. read more
