Great simple restaurant. Big in the South. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner 24/7. Friendly atmosphere. Food is not expensive.

Abari is the BEST server! Got our 10 person party seated right next to each other and SUPER friendly!!!

First time here and was impressed with the quick service. Taccoro was our waitress, and she was pretty good. I had to order the $5 menu due to limited time. My waffle was good but my sausage was too crisp. It was crowded in there and the waitress handled the crowd well. We made our time of 45 minutes in and out.

A pretty typical Waffle House, nothing all too special. Came in on a busy Saturday afternoon, got lucky and was able to sit with two other people at the low-top counter. Eggs were a bit over cooked, but the grits were good, the toast was warm, and the bacon was how I like it (not crispy). First waffle came out cold, but they fixed a new one without any questions.

This is my first time going to this Waffle House because my favorite Waffle was bus so I tried a new one ..... BIG MISTAKE everything I order was not done well to my expectations .. they HALF COOKED my waffles , didn't make my omelette to how I wanted it and the things is ... THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY CUSTOMERS I was the only one and they didn't take the time to cook my food to how they would want they're food .

The WORST!!!! No one answers the phone and when they finally do they place on hold without saying a word. The worst customer service.

These items came out fresh and hot. The deviled eggs were good, made the traditional way. Unfortunately they were out of the fried green tomatoes today. The cocktails were tasty and came out quick too. Unfortunately the entree portion was a mess. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, the food took very long to come out, and none of it was hot. The grit bowl was like warm; the cornmeal pancakes were cold and bland. The pancakes were nothing like the description and they sent an order of 2 when it calls for 3; the garlic grilled cheese was delivered to the table without any of its accoutrements (garlic flavoring, the spicy mustard and the caramelized onions). It was simply bread and melted cheese. They were willing to remake it, but it took forever for the entrees to come, so we opted to not. They still charged us full price for it. They also charged us in full for the order of pancakes that they shorted us on. Entree wise, the chicken and waffle is the only thing I'd recommend ordering. Our waitress was very nice. Maybe not the most experienced. I won't hold the kitchen's missteps against her, but she probably should have brought those missteps to a managers attention on our behalf.

The host said it was to celebrate the spring season since they did a apres ski theme during the winter. So festive. Okay so boom, we came here on a whim since we were going to a concert in the area later that evening. Surprisingly it wasn't busy for a Saturday which I expected it to be. Unfortunately though they had upcoming reservations so we weren't able to sit in the main room. We sat in their second dining room which was off to the side but still decorated. Our service was still good and the waiter was very attentive. For apps, we got the She Crab soup. I would've preferred for the crab meat to be sprinkled on top vs. in the soup but nonetheless it was still delicious. Super fresh!! Omg. I even contemplated on switching my entree to the stuffed grouper to get some more crab meat. I ended up getting the Shrimp scampi which was a great choice. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint with the shrimp. 6 jumbo pieces. Omg. The entree was done pretty well and it was just the right portion size. If we had more time, I would've ordered their toffee bread pudding or the honey crème brulee but that's all the more reason to come back. Oh and order the It was all a dream cocktail. It tastes like vanilla. Done to perfection.

The World's Best BLT in a Lonely Gas Station Corner…read more Tucked into the dim corner of a run-down gas station off Highway 14 is The Griddle Stop, a place so unassuming you'd drive past it a hundred times without a second thought. Dusty windows, flickering neon, and a gas pump that hasn't worked since the Clinton administration. But behind a creaky door and a scratched-up counter sits the holy grail of sandwiches: the world's best BLT. Served on thick, toasted sourdough that crackles just right under your bite, the bacon comes in unapologetically fat slabs -- smoky, crisp, and curled like it has a story to tell. The lettuce? Iceberg, shredded fresh and cold like it was pulled straight from a mountain stream. The tomatoes are impossibly red, juicy, and somehow always in season, kissed with just enough salt to make your lips tingle. And the mayo -- homemade, garlicky, and spread edge to edge -- binds the whole miracle together. There's no music playing, no Instagram signage, and the cook, a retired Marine named Earl, only grunts when you compliment his food. But when that sandwich hits your table (a wobbly Formica top near the vending machine), the world slows down. You forget you're alone. You forget the gas station smell. You forget everything but the next bite. Five stars. No frills. No fuss. Just the kind of meal that makes you question every fancy sandwich you've ever overpaid for. Earl doesn't serve happiness, but he'll sure as hell give you the sandwich that feels like it.
