Standard WaHo, I ate here for a few breakfasts while doing work in La Porte. The food was fine, standard diner fare. My breakfasts were around 6:30am, and there was plenty of room, service was prompt. As far as a breakfast bite goes, this is probably one of your best choices for the area.

Fly in my drink. YUCK!! Other than that, friendly service. Food was OK for the price.

Breakfast is so called the most important meal of the day, on count of the good that eggs, grits, some bacon all do to your body with loads of energy. Well upon coming to this location I was greeted with " Welcome To Waffle House" which to me when walking into a small restaurant or restaurant period or somewhere is always nice, it makes you feel welcomed. Well I walked in sat down and right away I had a server asking me what I would like to drink and if I knew what I would like for breakfast/lunch. Which again to me that's another plus. So I asked for a minute and went ahead and ordered me an orange juice which by the way is very cold at this particular location. Then I placed my order how I wanted it and it kinda surprised me that the waitress said "you know we never had it ordered like that but we will definitely make that happen" to me another plus. I looked around to also see if I seen anything out of place or dirty cause well let's just say I have OCD so if it's dirty I have a problem, again I couldn't pick anything out which is also a good thing. Cause I'm most Waffle Houses there's always something. So honestly I think I picked the right location myself to get some good hardy breakfast and start my day.

Our waitress Candis provided excellent service and made us feel so welcome. I ordered the cheeseburger meal and that burger, as incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

She was quick with our drinks and let us look at the menu for a few more minutes. Mom had the Green Tomato BLT, the Missus had the club sammich. But enough about their meals ... I want to review my meal. Their menu lists that the burger is on a brioche bun ... check that one off of the item list. A hearty patty is also placed inside of the bun and along with it are pickles, lettuce, onion and tomato. Check and double Check. Mayo is slathered on the buns, at just the right amounts that make it taste good, but not so much that it slides the innards of the burger all over the place making the chomping experience mushy. Flavors were good, I had just hoped the patty fit the bun a little better. The ratio was a bit more bun sided than oatty sided. My fries, crinkle cut, were seasoned well. Well enough that no ketchup was needed to dip them into for additional flavor. I would have liked a bit more crispiness from a double fry, but these were toothy enough to get a decent mouth feel. The meal for the three of is was about 47.00, so inflation has also hit my hometown dining places as bad as they have hit my current home near The Woodlands. Will i return to eat there the next time I visit Mom? If she wants to go, then yes, yes I would. I would also hit it alone just for their chicken fried steak or chicken. Ciao, Darrell

My vehicle broke down at the dock at Lakeside Yachting Center during a storm, and I couldn't find a tow company willing to come get me. I ended up being stuck at the dock overnight. The staff at Seabrook Classic Cafe were incredibly kind and let me come in to charge my phone while I figured things out. I was very hungry, so I ordered their egg sandwich, and it was fresh and delicious. Even though I live about an hour away, that experience made such a good impression that I came back later to try more of their menu. I'm happy to say everything else I tried was just as good. The stuffed jalapenos were excellent, very flavorful and stuffed with crab and cheese. I also ordered the chicken fried chicken, which was great, especially with their toast. The fruit bowl was fresh, and of course I had to get another egg sandwich, which was just as good as I remembered. They even brought us a complimentary slice of carrot cake, and it was fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back again to get more of that carrot cake, and next time I'd also love to try their prime rib. Our server was very friendly, and I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. It has a cozy, retro diner feel that makes it a great place to sit down and relax. This restaurant has absolutely earned my business. Even though I live an hour away, I make multiple trips to the South, and I'll definitely be stopping here often!

A small one crawling on the wall near our table and someone from my party saw a larger one crawling near the kitchen. And boy was it stuffy in there. I asked our waitress if she could move a floor fan near for some relief and to detour the gnats, she said she go ask but she never came back and when she did she completely forgot my request. We weren't seated in the greater eating area where it was cooler and maybe where the gnats were less of a bother. The food was delicious and homemade, you can tell it was made with high quality ingredients and that Southern skill that you can only get from helping Grandma in the kitchen. BUT the roaches made us lose our appetite. Such a shame. It seemed like the building went down. They don't seem to put as much effort into the condition of that place as they do the food. Dusty ceiling fans and crummy floors. I appreciate the homey vibe but it looked really junky, more stuff piled in unoccupied corners as before. I gave a lot of things the side eye, I mean it there has to be maintained asthetic. They charged an 18% gratuity on my tab for a party of 8 but I arrived with 4 people, the other 4 had already been there, paid and was almost done with their meal. Then of course the cashier/waitress still mentioned an additional, optional tip. I didn't think that was fair. At the end of it all she wasn't the best waitress.
