I found it very peculiar that they took my credit card inside the restaurant to the back to ring me up. My card was out of my sight for over a minute which rang a lot of bells as to what could have possibly happened. I've alerted my credit card company of possible fraud.

I think this is the very first time as a helper that I've had such a huge sway in reviews for…read moreplaces that I frequent. As you can tell from my first review a few months ago. We'll start with the server. She wasn't overly welcoming or anything of that sort, kind of cold in the beginning. You could tell she didn't want to be there. She sat me down, and took my order, and got my drink. I'll jump ahead and say that I was her last customer of the evening because I talked with her before paying my check, and I actually got a little smile out of her. So it's fair to assume that she had already put in her full day, so I can give a pass on that. She brought my food quickly, and even gave me a to-go drink without even asking. I think it's just a combination of her personality and being tired and ready to go home, but she wasn't bad in the least. The place was pretty empty, I mean it was 9:00 at all, but it looks clean inside and it's your basic Denny's decorum. I ordered a salad in place of French fries, with the burger that I ordered. I kid you not, my side salad tonight completely blew away my salmon salad I got a few months ago. I ordered the bourbon bacon burger, without a bun. I wanted just a lettuce wrap, and they delivered. This is where it gets goo I don't know where they found this cook, but that girl GETS DOWN. My burger was fresh off the flat top, and it's crazy to say, but it's one of the best burgers that I've had, that I can even remember. I'm glad I gave this place another try, I was really walking in with the attitude that it was going to be another strike out, but I was delighted. I come through here pretty often, so now I know that I won't have to shy away from here the next time I want to eat. Hopefully they can keep this trend going. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. Overall 3.75 Stars…read more After an all day conference in Jackson, we wanted to get some food and this restaurant popped up in my feed to try in Richland. Having only 30 reviews and all 5 stars, I was curious on why that was the case. Located in a building with another restaurant and nail salon, the building itself was just a normal tan building. Nothing special, however when you walked in, you were transported to the southern hemisphere of Thailand where the warm ocean breeze sway your worries away. Boy, I sound like a song. Ambiance : 4 Stars - there are enough seating at each table to accommodate 4-8 people - Bench or Table style. Decor had Thailand pictures, plants, and etc. Service - 5 Stars our only server was very pleasant, easy to talk to, efficient, and very alert to make sure your drink was full or remove your empty dishes away. My wife and I enjoyed Thai food and we had questions because some of the dishes were slightly different than what we were use too. He answered all of our questions. Food: 3.25 - 3.75 Stars The food itself was good but not great because the seasoning was very light for Thailand food. Our server said they wanted the people to enhance their meal by adding other flavors to the dish. The answer was a SAFE answer. Authentic food should have the flavors of that region. I say, " be bold and confident in your dish". If the people don't like it, they can order something else. Of course I didn't say that to the server or Auntie who prepared our meals because I didn't want to get stuck in the kitchen cleaning dirty pots and pans. Hahah! With that note, upon our request, our server did bring out chili oil, chili red pepper and crush, dry Thai peppers. and Nuoc Mam (Vietnamese Fish Sauce) so we may "doctored" our dishes. We ordered the following. Appetizers Chicken Larb - 3.75 Stars. The chicken was finely diced and sautéed with onions and had some Thai seasoning. It was served with a healthy portion of green leaf lettuce and whole salted cashews. It was good and flavorful but as good as Beef Larb. NOTE: BEEF LARB is not on the menu which is a bummer because it is a staple Thai food. Maybe they don't have it because the price of beef has gone up tremendously. Also, they don't have Beef Crying Tiger too. Bummer Thai Chicken Skewers- 3.25 Stars The chicken was coated with a yellow curry and possible coconut milk than pan fried in oil. It was served with a yummy peanut sauce. It was ok. The chicken was a little dry when biting into it and the yellow curry flavor was mild. I wish it was grilled and had some tamarind and fish sauce on it too. Main Dishes: Pad Thai - with chicken 3.5 Stars it was large portion. My wife definitely had left overs. She said it was good but was missing the tamarind sauce, citric acid and palm sugar. We don't like it sweet but the palm sugar brings out the other flavors of the dish. Now, after she "doctored" it, she really enjoyed her dish. Red Curry Pan Seared Salmon w veggies and rice - 3.5 Stars. I had mixed feeling with this dish. The pan seared Salmon was perfectly cooked, seasoned well and has a crusty seared on it. It was layered on top of steamed veggies in a red curry sauce. I was disappointed with the red curry sauce and the steamed veggies. It lacked flavor. Also, I thought the dish was going to be served in bowl with "stewed veggies" but it wasn't. Each item were layered separately. Steamed veggies on the plate, covered with the red curry sauce then finally layered with the seared salmon. Rice was served in a separate bowl. My expectations were not met when I saw the dish. Also, the red curry sauce was bland but after I added Thai seasoning, fish sauce, lime wedge, and chili oil it was better. So, do I recommend this place? The answer is "Yes". The server and auntie are pleasant and their southern regional Thai food are good. The atmosphere is laid back and has a very positive vibe. Though the restaurant wasn't too busy inside, I observed they have alot of loyal customers who ordered takeouts or sat at their tables to dine with them. I definitely will come back to try their Papaya Salad and Pad See Ew.

We order the Tripple appetizer choosing the Boom Boom Shrimp, Thai egg rolls, and Crab Rangoons. It comes with soup, salad, and an egg roll. Also ordered Thai fried rice and share it. The crab rangoons were the best I have ever had. Lots of filling with crab. Not all shell. Also the Thai tea and service was very good. We will stop again when traveling through.

It seems that their familiar logo beckons in all of its bright yellow neon glory road-weary travelers, partying college kids, parents with kids in tow, hungry workers seeking a casual and quick sit-down meal and just about everyone else from every walk of life. Since Waffle House opened its first location back on September 5, 1955 in Avondale Estates, Georgia, it quickly established itself by offering a consistent selection of food and by being open twenty-four hours a day. For me, the biggest appeal of Waffle House has always been their hash browns, which you can get basic or topped with a variety of toppings such as chili, white sausage gravy, cheese, ham, onions and so many more items and you can combine these toppings in a multitude of ways. For my main course, I have usually gone with their patty melts or one of their egg breakfast options. I myself can see the strangeness that I have never had a waffle in a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one. This location appears to be getting their parking lot repaved, but they are open Service is friendly and they are close to several area hotels. If you are in the southeast United States, odds are you have probably passed a Waffle House location. It seems that they are on almost every major highway exit ramp and strategically placed throughout most cities and towns in the southeast. If you see one, give them a try.

There are several hotels surrounding this particular Waffle House, including a Super 8 located immediately next door, so I am sure they get a lot of business from these hotels. However, with Waffle House, I am sure that the locals enjoy it, as well. Waffle House has become an iconic part of the southeastern United States landscape. It has been a go-to place for road-weary travelers, families, late night revelers and the rest of the assorted parade that we call humanity. There is nothing fancy about a Waffle House. In fact, if you look up the definition of greasy spoon in the dictionary, they will probably be an accompanying picture of a Waffle House. But breakfast maybe should not be fancy. It should be about sitting at a counter in a humble restaurant and filling yourself up with eggs and other breakfast staples to start your day My number-one go to in this restaurant has always been the patty melt. Probably the second most common order that I have ordered is one of their egg breakfasts. Strangely enough, I have never had a waffle at a restaurant where the word "waffle" is in the very name of the business. I just prefer savory breakfasts to sweet breakfasts. One of my favorite things about the waffle house though is their hash browns. These potatoes are probably ultimately the number-one reason that I go to a Waffle House. The potatoes develop a nice crust cooked on the flat top and you can get them topped with a variety of items such as chili, onions, cheese, ham and a slew of other items. I would definitely recommend a visit to this location. Again, if you are traveling along Interstate 20, it is just off of the highway next to the Exxon gas station. The service is friendly and fast and you can be back on the highway in little to no time at all. If you are a local, come on, now oh, you know you love Waffle House. Go there and check them out and don't forget to get yourself some of those hash browns. I give it four stars.
