When we walked in to this Waffle House establishment we were greeted by such a warm chorus of "welcome to Waffle House!" It was such a nice surprise. This Waffle House sits on Campbelleton Road/Hwy 92 near the intersection of South Fulton Parkway, just behind the Publix shopping center. For the most part, this is your standard ole WH, however this is the first location I have seen that has a fully separate space for take out orders including dedicated entry, windows and counter. This does impact the seating space, so this location only has 6 tables and the high top bar, so I imagine on a busy weekend, the wait can get a bit long. This was not the case when we arrived, so we grabbed a booth without issue. Being WH loyalists, we knew what we wanted before we sat down and when our server came by, we tossed in our order and waited for her to yell it out. Our server was friendly and nice, but not the most efficient. We had to follow up on our initial drink order as once she called out our food order, she went to washing dishes and doing other stuff. We got our drinks moments before our food hit the table. One of us went with the classic two egg plate and I went with the Texas Sausage Egg and Cheese sandwich with smothered covered hashbrowns. Both plates were delish, hot and devoured within minutes. The space was clean and well kept for Waffle House standards. Overall, standard WH experience. Nothing crazy good or bad, just as expected, which is great. Solid 3.5. read more

So I get up early for work and I decided I wanted Waffle House to take with me. I ordered pick up with the wrong location by accident. Ok dang my fault. So I get there about 25 minutes over when it's ready. Food still not ready. Ok fine. They to young women were nice and make is cooking. Ok I get my food. Oo dang I thought it came with hasbrowns. Ok I go back up to the counter , I ask for double hash browns. It took an extra 20 minutes. At this point I'm going to be late for work. Ok it was my fault with wrong location. 20 min later get my food didn't bother looking im driving - I realize they gave me two extra waffles not hashbrowns. Great. Smh. After a long concert We decided To stop at Waffle House for some late night food before heading home. The interior isn't open to seat so you have to walk up to the counter to order. After waiting in line for 20 mins I hear someone scream we outta cheese and eggs. What the heck! We just went home hungry and sad. Lol read more

They have an adopt a meal program for essential workers, which I think is cool. I like how they're controlling traffic flow into the restaurant. The bar stool area is closed off but the dining tables are open now. We placed our order there because the big numbers are on the window placing the street and not the parking lot, which would be helpful and Google didn't seem to know there was a Waffle House there. I'd recommend putting the number on the parking lot sign too. We only had to wait a few minutes to place our order. They ask you to wait in your car until it's ready. The only problem is she didn't say how long that would be and didn't take my name with the order, not that anyone is calling your name when the order is ready. Also, something I'd recommend. We waited a while and just went back inside as we could see order being placed on the counter. By the time we got in and out, our food wasn't the hottest so I'm guessing it had been sitting there a while. She forgot that I requested strawberry jam And gave me grape jelly instead and my husband wanted a side of sausage with his omelette, which was placed in the same container as my son's all star meal with his sausage. Needless to say, my husband almost didn't get his sausage lol. The food was Waffke House good. I hadn't had it in a while and the all star special rarely disappoints. Plus, who makes cheese eggs like Waffle House?! The bacon was a little salty and they forgot to butter my toast. It I'll leave.!i ate the bacon and luckily hadn't added salt to my eggs and grits so it balanced out. Make sure you tip them well. They're exposing themselves to COVID-19 to serve us. Man where do I start... Sun. July 17th approximately 2ish AM...4 of us decided to go grabbed a bit before turning in after a night of dancing. Upon walking in patrons were complaining of bad/slow service. Not just 1 or 2 but, damn near everybody had some type of complaint or another from service to wrong order, food coming up out of order. Needless to say...since this is the only spot open these type of hours...we tried our best to not loose our patience. Man was the lady that sat in front of us so right. Now one young lady seated us upon walking in & told us one of the guys world be right us to the our order. However, after 15-20mins of not being acknowledge one of my friends had to ask if someone was going to take our orders. Our food came & certain items we ordered were mixed up and/or not received. Not to mention my melt looked like the person making it was rushing & just throu it together. And I ordered country (smothered hash browns) & lets just say I received my hash browns w/out the gravy. So informed the guy about it & he said sure, took my plate poured gravy on top. Now when I tell you I was not happy...I WAS NOT HAPPY...the damn gravy wasn't even hot! Who the hell serves cold gravy! I told the server & he took my place & said he would make me fresh hash browns but, I NEVER (not even before we left like an hour later) got the gravy he claimed to be warming up. This night it was a staff of 1 young dark chocolate young lady & the rest all guys. Can I tell you it looked like NONE of these employees barely even got along...it was sad! You can tell the brown complexion big guy & the your chocolate guy that serves us did NOT get along. You barely seen them talk, collaborate w/one another to assure patrons we're getting served correctly & in a timely manner. It was as if...everyone was doing THEIR OWN THING from start to finish...instead of working as a team. This was the most uncomfortable restaurant staffed I ever encountered & it made me feel so sorry for the staff. Not sure if they recently went through hiring new staff or made changes but, I will NEVER go here again at this hour in a Saturday or Sunday morning. I recently visited Waffle House and found an extremely unorganized operation. It was evident that there was no plan beyond moving the entrance and wearing a mask by employees to address the pandemic. The employee welcoming guests at the door had a runny nose that she did not address, and the waitress that took my order had her mask around her chin until I asked her to lift it. There is clearly, to me, a solution to the chaos that I experienced that not only fully addresses the needs presented by the pandemic but also provides an opportunity to increase the bottom line. That visit insured that I will not return to a Waffle House anytime before the pandemic is fully resolved. As an entrepreneur I immediately saw that Waffle House could streamline placing and receiving orders in a manner that would encourage people to place and receive orders quickly and efficiently, allowing more people to choose Waffle House as an on the way to work option. If you must spend at least 30 minutes or even more waiting to place and receive your order Waffle House is not an on the way to work option. The lack of attention to this simple solution is baffling since it would address the pressing concerns of the pandemic and create an easy increase in business resulting in an increase to the bottom line. The solution should be one created by the corporate office and not reliant on each location. Cooks and waitresses should not be tasked with solving a corporate issue. read more

This is the worst waffle house on the entire planet! They are dirtier than most, the staff is always extremely rude, they never answer the phone, and even though I order the same exact order every time, the price is never the same. This morning I called 5 times try to order breakfast for my husband's birthday. When I pull up the male employee tells me they are temporary closed for cleaning. I responded by saying it would have been nice if someone had answered the phone and simply said that and he called me a dumb bitch! Completely unacceptable! Don't waste your time. Me and a friend came here for lunch and were very disappointed. We were the only people in the restaurant who received plastic silverware and were not helped for 15 minutes after we sat down. After we received our food another 15 minutes later I didn't get my waffle until all our food was ate and had to remind the waitress several times for it. Other customers came in and received much better and faster service. I've never had food from Waffle House that was this bad. It was like I wasn't even eating at a WH franchise. Second time I have been to this location on a Sunday and it was very busy during the brunch period but the service was great. I sat at the counter and was promptly asked for my drink order and wasn't rushed to order. After I placed my order, my food arrived fast, as expected when it's just a breakfast food. It's clean. Visited this location a few months ago actually (before I was a Yelp member) I was with my sister and a friend. Upon us being seated, 1 of the staff members greeted us and asked what we would like to drink. She was abruptly interrupted by another staff member who gave us our silverware and informed us that she would be our server. After she took our drink orders, she walked away and as she walked away the staff member who originally greeted us said "You see how rude she is? Now, I was trying to help her out but you ladies enjoy!" So now, we immediately knew there was tension between staff members at this location. Although our server appeared to have issues with her coworkers, she was pleasant to us however, we did not receive everything we ordered and had to inform someone as our server disappeared for a while after getting into an argument with another one of co workers. It was total chaos in this place and I have never seen a restaurant in such poor operation. Some staff members simply tried to ignore the loud argument that included profanity and help customers as best as possible but this created a very hostile and awkward atmosphere. This is our early Saturday morning spot!! You can catch me in the corner with a bowl of grits with 2 sausage patties broken up into them. The staff is friendly and watching them interact is hilarious. Best time to come is late late night, there is a older seasoned man on the grill that all of the employees address with the title of Mister. The respect they have for him made me and my party stop in amazement. (Forget people still show respect). It honestly feels like the staff have a great working relationship and that helps the customers. There is never a rush to order no matter how packed it gets. Its always clean or someone cleaning. Okay......so I have been coming to this waffle house since they opened. When they first opened everything was amazing, you could call in and actually get someone to answer the phone (now it seems as if they have taken the battery out). You did not have so many people who have EXTREMELY poor attitudes and act like you are bothering them when ordering food. The food has declined and the only time it is actually good is when an older gentleman ( i cant remember his name) is cooking. Its not like i'm expecting a 5 star treatment when coming but I do expect some decent service and some employees that can actually answer the phone especially when NO ONE is sitting down eating when I come in. read more

This Waffle House location is right by my house so I visit it very often, like 4 to 5 times a week often. Never any issues during the day. Staff is friendly and energetic.
