This is a decent Waffle House. It is located in a good area. Food is not bad. I love the pecan waffles! So good! I like the fact that they use real butter. The servers were nice and quick. The restaurant is clean and so we're the bathrooms. That is not always true of every waffle house but here it is nice. Open 24 hours I believe. It was a late night trip with a friend. I've been coming here since they first opened. I've never had a bad experience till now. They have a new server named Yeyden I believe, pic bellow. I ordered the sirloin steak and egg breakfast with extra hash browns. What I got was eggs with cheesesteak. I questioned it and he said that since they have so many different types of steaks he assumed it was the cheesesteak. I ordered a cherry coke and he told me they didn't have cherry coke, I had to correct him. My wife ordered the Texas chicken with no pickles or mayo.... She got no chicken. When I asked where the chicken was he said she ordered it with no chicken. WHO ORDERS A TEXAS CHICKE WITH NO CHICKEN!?! Even after all this he just kept walking to the other tables not interested enough to fix our order. Let me be clear, I'm not upset with the server, I'm deeply upset with the servers trainer. Before I start this review, I've been to plenty of different waffle houses, through Florida to the Carolina's and out of them all I call this place, my waffle home. Caeden, the absolute best "waiter" and i put that in quotation because it felt like he personally was taking care of me and my mother during our meal, I haven't had such a wonderful conversation with any waffle house attendant than with him. He reminds me of season 7 fortnite, when I was a boy, just happy to be alive and all so joyful, I never expected this dine in experience to give me such a marvelous start of my day. If I could give 7 stars I would, if you ever have the chance of meeting him, let alone being helped, you are in for a wonderful treat. First time at a Waffle House. The food was good, lot of choices. Had the chicken protein bowl one day and had another hash and eggs dish that came with a waffle on the side. Staff was terrific. Told her this is my first time and asked for recommendations. Kelsey said to try the waffles for sure because, you know, Waffle House. We don't use computers, we say the order out loud and the cook responds including with our name and that's how we do it. I liked it. Coffee was good and the food was good. The waffles were just waffles. Nothing special but I got it plain and added pecans. Liked all their other breakfast items better. Service was really friendly and attentive. This visit was our first in over 10 years, we took our two granddaughters for breakfast. I have to say it was terrific. The place was busy and very clean. We sat at the low counter with the kids which was really fun. I had a sausage, egg and cheese hash brown bowl. It was filling and delicious. My wife had the pecan waffle which was excellent. The girls had a shared mixture of a waffle, bacon, hash browns and a chocolate pie which was devoured within minutes. (see pics) As anyone who has eaten here will tell you, Waffle House is an intimate eating experience. You feel like you're having breakfast in the kitchen. The eggs were good as were the sausage and ham. The waffles were OK. The star of the show was the hash browns. OMG! For a small up-charge, you can get a double order, which I did! We also got hash browns that were 'Smothered and Covered' (sautéed onions and melted cheese). Awesome! The wait staff was friendly and speedy. The restaurant was clean as a whistle. I was in Tampa for a business trip and as I was driving from the airport to my hotel, I saw signs for Waffle House and the thought I need to try it as its been 20+ years since I ate at a Waffle House. There is not a Waffle House that is very close to me. But let me say, after eating here, I will be making trips to the closest waffle houses around me, which are over an hour away. Thats how good it was.. The waffles were great. Bacon egg and cheese biscuit sandwich was amazing. There is nothing like eating a breakfast sandwich on a biscuit that was made fresh in store and not heated from a frozen state as most places do. The bacon was great as well. I did eat here twice... the first time was a grand slam and the second was a home run. The difference was the cooks. They have normal cooks and cook masters? If your lucky enough to go when a masters is cooking, you may get the best experience. The difference between the 2 Times was the bacon. The way the master cooked the bacon was out of this world.. the 2nd time and non master. Bacon was good but there was nothing special about it. The hashbrowns are amazing as well because they cook them in a butter oil which knock them out of the park.. I am craving Waffle House now.. read more

Beautiful Sara and all the other servers are fabulous! Amber one of their grill operators keeps her grill spotless and doesn't just stand around when it's not busy. Having been open a couple of months now, this Waffle House is our go-to place for a quick weekend breakfast! Did you know that FEMA judges how bad the conditions are in a disaster location by whether the Waffle House is open? The tenacity of these folks is unreal. We at here just before and after Hurricane Irma hit west central Florida. We ate here several times when they were running only on generator power. We ate here on Thanksgiving morning. Nothing stops the Waffle House! The food is basic, but very good. I used to like "Belgian" waffles, but now Waffle House waffles are the only way to go. Prices are very fair, and service is very quick and friendly. My only warnings on this place -- it can get very busy on weekends and it is small. The good news is that the "line" moves pretty fast. Groups of more than 5 though are going to have to split up -- small groups are best for this small place. And don't hesitate to sit at the counter! read more

Ordered carry out, a very simple order. 2 pecan waffles, 2 orders of hash browns with chili & cheese. When we opened the bag, the hash browns did not have chili on them. They were literally swimming in grease. It was basically very bland, slivers of potatoes floating in grease. The waffles were sad looking but the flavor was there. We could not eat the hash browns. I even repeated the order to the woman that answered & took the order. Her name was Kathy. I repeated the order to her 3 times! She must not know how to take an order. Worst experience I have ever had at a Waffle House. The place was a total disaster when I walked in. There were several people dining and when I walked in the store by myself I'm told they are closing the restaurant for at least an hour so they would not serve me. I asked if I could at least place an order to go and they rudely told me no. I asked what the hours of operation were and they said 24hours. I said to them that this is ridiculous and the cook told me that I didn't have to come to the restaurant and I never will again. Very rude and obviously poorly managed. After dropping off my car for routine maintenance, I realized that I was very hungry and there are not many breakfast options on Sunset over by Route 19. I walked over to the Waffle House, to be greeted with warm smiles and hellos at 7:30am! Now I'm no virgin to Waffle House, but this experience by far was superior! Not only was the ENTIRE staff concerned how my experience was (the chef even came over), it was soooo clean! I started off with a hot cup of coffee and a water. The kitchen is exposed so I could see my scrambled eggs, hash browns and biscuit being made. There is nothing quite like a true Southern Biscuit but Waffle House out did themselves!
