Stopped by for breakfast on a Tuesday while walking the trail. They have a huge patio along the trail and it's busy many days of the week when we ride by on bikes. Today they had the patio closed for weather, but have a few outdoor tables in front too that we sat at. Biscuits and gravy were fluffy and tasty. Also the fried green tomatoes Benedict special was a treat. Instead of an English muffin the fried green tomatoes were the base, and in a corn meal coating that wasn't soggy. Prices were great, like small diner vibes. Every table inside was full and people stopped by to say hi leaving. We will be back! read more

It's a charming little place and the food is excellent and not so grease laden like many breakfast places. Prices are very reasonable and staff were all super nice and friendly. A young man waited on our table and he was very attentive and kind. Two of us had the triple breakfast and one had a burger and they were all delicious. Went for breakfast today with our dog so sat on their lovely patio. Mother's Day so it was packed. I had to take this down a notch from my last review because the coffee is awful. I think the coffee might be ok, it may be those terrible chemical filled creamers you're forced to use. I had the avocado toast. It was just ok. I don't recommend it unless you have an intense craving for avocado. By the time I finished the bread was all soggy. Not a good choice of bread for avocado toast. And one of my poached eggs was way too done. I want the yolk to pour out when cut into. My dog loved the turkey sausage but she's a dog. read more

Seriously. We had a great meal at this unpretentious place. My shrimp tacos were out of this world. Just the right amount of spice. $10 for 3. Such a deal. Wife had a burger and reports it was good. This is one of the places I so want LOVE because the outside patio is amazing. But after 3 tries in 2.5 yrs we've given up. The service is sooooo slow outside, inside totally different story. There seems to only be one waitress (the same one each time) maybe a second on very busy mornings, whereas inside there are appropriate number. Feels like a senior waitress being greedy wanting 10+ tables for money and not really caring about service. We finally asked about our food after AN HOUR of sitting there, and seeing 4other ppl be served who came after us )other waitress) she got mad and tried to put it on us-saying it's only been 18 mins. I showed her my phone- it had been an entire hour. Thank GOD for the hard working busboy! Here's a tip- if the management wants to give this server the entire patio, then at least assign her a food runner. After asking, she returned with our food almost immediately-- cold, blech potatoes and eggs. None in our party ate their food. I wonder why the cooks aren't hollering at her-usually they don't allow food to sit up too long. Guarantee our food was in the window for 20+ minutes. If you go- sacrifice sitting outdoors if you want to eat and get service. Indoor servers do not have a time management problem. read more

Finally stopped in and had breakfast here. We have ridden our bicycles past this place on the Pinellas trail so many times. Its right across the street from the Toronto Bluejays stadium hence the name. The inside of the place is very homey and comfortable. It looks like a country diner. The service was really good our waitress was friendly and attentive. We were having brunch drinks and I enjoyed my bloody mary. We ordered poutine fries as an app. The mushroom gravy with the fries was delightful! I ordered the lobster benedict. It was really good and they give you a large portion. Everyone else in my group liked their drinks and food. This is a great breakfast spot in the Dunedin area and the prices are low. Really good bang for your buck here. My mother, who lives in town, brought us here for breakfast. It's a cute mid sized place with a decent sized menu. They offer "starters" in both small and large sizes, omelettes, pancakes and French toast, sandwiches, and quite a lot of sides. The biscuits and sausage gravy were very good, the Fruit cup had a large variety of fruit. I don't like it when it's mostly melon. Hubby said the eggs Benedict was good. My father-in-law likes the grits. Mom says the eggs are free range, said they actually taste like eggs. The ladies rest room was bright and clean. read more

Had a brunch here today. I got the Greek omelet. Nice mix of black olives, spinach, tomatoes and feta. The grits were pretty good as is. Seemed to already have butter in them so I didn't add anything. I also like that they have rye toast. The coffee is pretty good too. Service was quick and friendly. I'll return. read more

Stopped in for breakfast here twice now and had a great meal each time. I believe they're under new ownership now, and the quality of food has only gotten better! Each time we've been in, my boyfriend and I have by far been the youngest people there by 20-30 years, but it's great to hear the stories of all those around us. The staff is super sweet too, and it very much feels like the place where you'd grab a bite after church. I've gotten the pancakes each time & add on fresh fruit or chocolate chips. My boyfriend has gotten French toast and usually gets hashbrowns too (the shredded kind) while I get a side of bacon. Never been disappointed! Parking lot is a bit small, and the laundromat next door has placed signs about not parking in their spots too. You might have to park a bit away but the breakfast is worth it, and the brunch/lunch options look tempting too! read more

It's not a relaxing vibe. I don't know if they need more staff. Seating is always chaotic. I was there last week & the waitress accused me of yelling at the bus boy. I only asked politely if he would clear my table. i finally asked her to stop talking in a calm voice. Great service, you feel appreciated as a customer here. We stopped on a Saturday on our way walking to Dunedin. We made it just at closing but they still served us. The pint-sized mimosas are always great. I ordered the cheese burger medium rare, it came out well done. Without hesitation, they brought a fresh cooked patty, this time cooked to perfection, unlike last weekend at another Dunedin restaurant. My fate in burger places is restored.
