The server was taking care of other tables but greeted us pretty quickly. The server brought our water and sweet tea along with rolls. Time to order! We ordered the brisket queso (brisket on the side) as an appetizer. The hubby ordered pork chop plate with cinnamon apples, Mac n' cheese and corn. He thought it was all tasty. I ordered the veggie plate. Salad with red vinaigrette - it was fresh. Sweet potato - I didn't realize it came with cinnamon and sweet butter. I would have asked for it plain. I just scraped off and it was good. The squash casserole wasn't very tasty. The broccoli was perfect. The cinnamon apples were good. I also ordered the black-eyed peas. It came with bacon. I passed on these. No dessert. We were stuffed. The ambiance was nice. Light country music was playing and both patrons in the booths by us were singing along. We will be back to try the daily specials. $$
