We didn't really have a good experience and we love Waffle House. First the good. The food was good, it came out quickly so no complaints about the food. The service was average. Our waitress got sidetracked a couple of times and it took a while to get coffee refills. The bade. The bathrooms were disgusting. The men's room had toilet tissue all over the floor and the bathroom was was just dirty. That usually does not reflect well on the restaurant itself. My wife went to use the restroom and had a similar experience. The toilet flush was broken and it was clearly used by another patron. She opted not to and deferred to the next rest area. If I could give it more stars, I would because this is by far the best Waffle House we've ever been to. We travel up and down I-75 and we've eaten at a lot of places but this 1 is towers above them all. Overall the food was good and the restaurant seemed clean. Service was somewhat slow and not very thorough, but it seemed as if we visited at a busy time and maybe during a shift change. Up to this point, I would have given a pretty good review. We ordered a waffle which was never served, and we didn't really have a chance to ask about it as our server was so busy. Also, as I took my last bite of food, I noticed what seemed to be a small bit of blue paper in my bowl. Went to pay and told the cashier we never received the waffle and asked if she could remove it from the bill. She yelled to our server to confirm we didn't get it and then told me she "had to be sure." Ok... As she took my cash to pay for our meal, I quietly mentioned the trash to her. This was met with a question of "what kind of trash?" Trash. "Well, sometimes people leave trash in their bowls, was it a hair?" No, just a piece of trash, you can go look. Then I let her know I was trying to be courteous by letting her know quietly so they could prevent it going forward and she apologized for my bad experience, with some noted sarcasm. Overall, the food was decent, the service was lacking but not bad and the end experience with the cashier was ridiculously rude and disrespectful. We won't be going back to this location. read more

This place is awful! The staff took turns complaining over whose turn it was to cook and who was taking the day off even if the didn't have it off. It took us around 20 minutes to get our food and then about 15 more to make the order right the messed up the first time. It took 5 members of the wait staff walking by and then me shaking my glass of ice to get my cup refilled. The restrooms and the grills looked like the had not been cleaned in months. 10 of out 10 would not recommend again! read more

Worst waffle house experience I have ever had!!! Took 45 after I got to the restaurant to finish my CALL IN ORDER. Then not so much as an apology for leaving me standing there for 45 minutes. I have never met a group that cares less about their jobs. The owner really needs to be notified. How they managed to both burn and undercook my food at the same time... Awesome staff this one was packed when I walked in but the hostess Mae was as sweet as she could be. We talked a minute about our mutual live for Waffle House. She has been there for 60 years. Theresa my server was on it. My order as busy as busy as everyone was, was finished quickly and as always the pecan waffle was delicious. Amanda another server was right there helping out and was kind enough to help me out with an issue I was having on my trip. Frankly, for a Waffle House, I was disappointed. I try to visit WH when I want good food at reasonable prices. I can usually count on friendly service, great coffee and clean restrooms. At least the Redbud WH has clean restrooms and good coffee, but my server, unfortunately, was... less than welcoming. She turned away before I was done ordering, cut me off as I was speaking, and abruptly left before I was done ordering. My meal was tasty, I have no qualms with the food or cookstaff, but my server 'burned' me to that particular Waffle House. Now I go out of my way to NOT patronize it. read more

I've been to more WH than I can count but never felt a reason to write a review until now. I ordered an omelet and was brought to me in a puddle of cooking oil. If I wanted extra oil, I would have asked for for a side dish. LOL I went to use the bathroom and no hand soap was to be found. Hum... not sure how the employees was their hands. They had posted a large sign posted on on the inside of the bathroom door as a reminder "Employees wash your hands, it's the law." This is about as common sense as wiping your butt after you poop. I mean really??? Soap for sanitation would be helpful to execute the process. I was going to tip the waitress 25% as I know they make little money and depend on tips. (worked in the restaurant business for years) However, our waitress never bothered to clear the table. And no. there wasn't a a mad rush or any other folks in there except one coffee drinker at the counter. In hindsight, she should have never served an omelet sitting in a puddle of oil. It's the waitresses job to make sure the food is set up properly. I even emptied the dirty table myself as the garbage can was next to the booth and stacked the dishes. Yes, I could have said something. I was traveling though and was on a time crunch. Common sense isn't so common I guess. I left a 15% tip, as I sort of felt bad she was clueless. She could have made more if she would have worked smarter. read more

Here is why I love all Waffle Houses...at any time of the day or night, you meet interesting people. Sometimes violent, drunk, interesting people. But always interesting people. At 4am, you get the post-party, bar, pre-work confluence. You get servers who are ALWAYS sweet (and tired) and serve food fast. Can't recommend any specific food here because if you are going to Waffle House for the food, then you are wasting your money and you will be a disappointed hipster looking for the ironic in the normal, everyday lives of people who just want to get smothered has browns and cheese grits and have a really friendly conversation with Amy. I hope they never fix the construction around here to make it easier to get to, All Waffle Houses are special. This one extra so. I hope someone gives the good ladies at this Waffle House a hug for being so nice. read more
