You order at the counter and, if dining in, grab a tray as the biscuits and gravy with a few other items are served a la cafeteria-line style. She got a chicken biscuit and I got a BLT. Both sandwiches were huge and fresh. I'm not sure I've ever seen such a huge biscuit. They were homemade and fresh. Great bologna biscuit. You can see them making the biscuits in-house sometimes and they are the size of Texas. Also, sometimes the line has a lot of cars, but it usually doesn't take too long. My kids bought a gift card from The Biscuit Box and multiple restaurants in Chatsworth for their 86 year old grandfather for Christmas. When he went to redeem it in June, they had charged a "service charge" for every month he didn't use it and he was told it no longer had any value. This was the ONLY restaurant in Chatsworth that did that. Needless to say, neither he nor the rest of our family will ever spend another penny at this place. read more

We needed a good breakfast after surviving our first night of camping with our young sons, and Yelp led us here. I opted for 2 eggs over medium with eggs and a biscuit. The boys got kid pancakes (2 for the 5 year old, 1 for the 2 year old), a biscuit, and bacon. Jimmy got the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. The prices can't be beat! The kid pancakes are shaped like Mickey, and they are huge! They're spongy and delicious. The bacon was nice and crispy. The eggs were over medium as requested. Traveling on 411 looking for a place to eat. Saw the good reviews on Yelp and stopped in for breakfast. The interior does look like a log cabin. Curtains on the windows looking out at the mountains. Food is served cafeteria style and the menu is on the wall. The biscuits, eggs, and bacon were good. The cinnamon rolls not so much. I didn't care for their sweet tea either. The water had a strange taste to it. Also my husband's coffee was nothing to write home about. We probably should have driven further up the road to the Bojangles, McDonalds or Hardee's. We found this place on Yelp as we were driving from Atlanta to The Smoky Mountain National Park for a camping week! It is a quaint little place and doesn't look like much from the outside, inside is decorated like a small log cabin. There is plenty of seating but figuring out where to order was a little confusing. The menu is a good selection of mainly breakfast foods and my friend and I both got biscuits and gravy with some meat and eggs. The food came out quick and hot! Stopped here for some breakfast on the way through GA. The food came out quick and everyone was very nice. My kids got the biscuits and gravy and I think we're expecting the traditional sausage milk gravy, but this was bacon grease milk gravy I think so they didn't care for it. We've come here for years; NO MORE. Since the old hands, Rhonda, Annette and Samantha-plus most of the good cooks, left it leaves much to be desired-food and service. I totally get the "be nice, we're understaffed" little sign they have posted, but THEY'RE the ones that are rude to the customers, not the other way around especially at the drive thru-one in particular . The biscuits always seem doughy and if you request tenderloin or ham, it's like shoe leather and a lot, not all, but a lot of times, both meat and biscuit, aren't even close to warm. Maybe it was all left over from the day before, who knows? I learned to ask for fresh but why would you even need to?? It's just a bad day, we thought. It'll be better next time, we thought. We still went-SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL HOME OWNED BUSINESSES and all that. Nevermind if you ask for jelly, mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, even napkins-eyes start rolling like a one armed bandit. Here is the kicker, for ONE BISCUIT GRAVY on two plates-I was charged $25.30. They NEVER give or offer receipts but that's my fault for assuming it was correct. The debit came as an alert from my bank. I call, get somebody, tell her what happened she says "Did you have meat?" WHAT!!!! What kind of idiotic question is that? "How much is a piece of meat, $10.00?" I ask for owner, be in at 10:00. I call, "Oh yeah, we make it right, just come back by." I go for the money. AGAIN, she tells me almost $15.00 for same! Only when I objected-loudly-Rob finally rings it up-did you get that "rings it up?" Instead of comping the crappy food, over charge and PLUS my having to go back, he STILL charged me almost $7.00!! No "I'm sorry for your trouble", "How can we keep you as a valued customer?", nothing. Nothing at all. He wouldn't even look at me! I hope that the $8.00 I was still charged will be worth losing any future business from us. I've heard several people complain about the food, service and the overages-they ALWAYS try to blame it on the new girl, it AIN'T ALWAYS THE NEW GIRL!!
