What a great representation of the local culture! Now, I am always 100% percent honest with my reviews. I have to admit this restaurants puts effort in every single way. The service was superb! Very friendly! its what you call true southern hospitality from beginning to end. The fish sandwich and onions rings were fresh and delish perfectly battered! The fried chicken was crispy and moist I wish it had a bit more seasoning but if you use a sauce with it then you golden. The chicken included 3 sides: I had the pickle beets, just ok. Then the macaroni salad which is not my favorite side dish and will probably never order again. The mac and cheese was not as great either but if u hungry it does the job. Since I love to fish nearby, I will be trying all the sides and other dishes little by little and i will keep posting My thought on them. My absolute favorite so far were the onion rings.

Fried chicken livers, pinto beans, whole kernel corn, whipped potatoes with brown gravy, and rolls. Great food at a great price!

In the middle of Chatsworth is a small family run restaurant that gives you more bang for the buck than most. Meat/ and 3 for under $8.00! The food was good, served pretty quick and the servers work hard to take care of everyone. This is where the locals bring their families to eat. There is a certain "kindness" that the patrons show each other. A head nod, a smile, or a few brief words exchanged. This restaurant, the workers and patrons leave you with a genuine good feeling about your experience here. I highly recommend this place when you're in the area.

Looking for some food because we were starving - passing through the town. Saw the sign ( they are RIGHT ON the road ) and stopped. Older diner type of place. If you are looking for a pretty, modern building, this isn't it. This looks like a hard working staff if trying to keep a business alive without all the bells and whistles. I liked it alot. It's simple. Super friendly staff, very attentive. Didn't know what to expect, food wise. But we were not disappointed. Excellent food. Obviously made to order. Comfort food. The fries were seasoned just right too. Sweet tea was exactly what I needed. The hushpuppies were excellent. I definitely see why a bunch of locals were there that afternoon. I would recommend this place.

We were heading home from Fort Mountain State Park and found this restaurant on Yelp. The food is EXCELLENT- especially the fried chicken. The whipped potatoes and corn nuggets were especially good - but leave room for dessert because there is homemade pie! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, the restaurant is clean and an easy find right on the highway. This place is filled with locals but definitely worth the stop for folks traveling through.

My favorite restaurant in the area and I make it a point to eat here when i come home. The fried chicken is tender, juicy, and delicious! The peanut butter pie is a must try. The food isn't fancy and some of the items aren't made from scratch, but it's just like the meals at my grandparents growing up.

The food was not very appealing and some of it was cold. Some of the sides on the menu weren't available. I would not recommend.

Not real big but we made a reservation a day ahead. I loved the Appetizers - shrimp and jalapeños - crispy with a sauce kinda like bang bang shrimp, but better. Brother had a half wedge salad and loved it. The fried Brussels were very tasty with Parmesan cheese and bacon with a Balsamic drizzle. No bread served with the meal, but it wasn't missed. I ordered Blackened salmon with couscous. It was good, cooked properly, but when I tasted my sisters trout, I wished I had ordered it. Panko crusted with collard greens. It was the best. Crispy on the outside, tender on inside and not a real fishy taste. All had a bit of a balsamic juices had seeped into all from the collard greens, which was good but prefer more savory flavors. But enjoyed it immensely. The Roasted chicken was just okay with mashed potatoes. But the best thing of the evening was the apple bread pudding with salted Carmel Ice Cream (Not pictured). A great meal in the North Georgia Mountain area.

That's an art, my friends! $12 for 3 pancakes and potatoes is ridiculous though- especially with fake maple syrup. The muffins are huge for $4 and they are freshly baked. You can't go wrong with those! We'll definitely be back.

The U-pick apple experience was a blast, and the orchard is beautiful, well organized, and family-friendly. We spent hours here between picking apples, browsing the market, and sampling drinks. There is an incredible selection of local products, baked goods, jams, cider, wine, fresh produce, gifts, and souvenirs. Everything looked fresh and high quality, although many of the items are definitely on the pricey side. We also tried both the hard cider and wine flights, which were reasonably priced and a fun way to sample several of their offerings before deciding what to take home. Most of the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming, and despite the crowds, the overall operation ran smoothly. Unfortunately, what should have been a five-star experience was overshadowed by one concerning incident. After returning from the U-pick orchard on the tractor, we noticed a family parked a couple of spaces away from us. The adults removed a younger child from the vehicle, and it appeared there may have been another child, approximately four years old, still inside the parked vehicle. We fully recognize the seriousness of making that assumption and cannot say with certainty what the circumstances were. However, with temperatures well above 90 degrees, we felt it was far better to report what we observed than ignore a situation that could potentially put a child at risk. What disappointed us most was the response. We informed staff of our concern, yet there seemed to be little to no sense of urgency. Even if it ultimately turned out to be a misunderstanding, I would have expected someone to immediately check on the situation or at least acknowledge the concern and verify that the child was safe. When it comes to a potential child safety issue, I'd much rather see staff respond quickly to a false alarm than risk overlooking a genuine emergency. Despite that experience, Mercier Orchards is still a wonderful destination. The U-pick experience, shopping, cider and wine tastings, and overall atmosphere make it a place I'd recommend to anyone visiting the Blue Ridge area. My hope is simply that management reinforces the importance of treating potential safety concerns with the urgency they deserve. Had it not been for that interaction, this easily would have been a five-star review.

We parked at the school for $5 and were easily able to get in and out. The festival had over a hundred vendors available for browsing, with lots of unique handcrafted items, interactive activities, and yummy food. You can get everything from tacos to barbeque to ribbon fries. We opted for some tacos, street corn, a pretzel, and some apple dumplings and all the food was great! The apple dumpling and the pretzel were personal highlights for me. The event itself does get really crowded, so be prepared to wait in lines for a good portion of your experience. Many of the vendors are cash only, and the day we went the credit card system was offline, causing a reliance on Venmo or other online payment options. Just like every other fair, the prices will be a bit high, so bring a decent amount of cash so you can enjoy your time. One thing I would hope to see in the future is more participation from local orchards. There was a lot of variety with vendors, but I was hoping to see more of a focus on apples as the star of the show. Overall, the festival was a fun experience I could see becoming a yearly tradition for our friend group.
