We waited for a table for 30 minutes it's a Sunday morning so we know it would be busy, not an issue. We got our table we sit down takes a few minutes to get drinks but we were recognized up front by server. My problem is when the one family comes in that's a regular got their order taken while in line waiting a table then got a table before others still Waiting and they also got their food before my family. The one waitress was the true meaning of a nigger. She was rude as hell when I asked why they got special treatment and her comment was they are regular so I know their order. Waffle House! What can you say when you need food at any time or the day! Our Waitress was our cook since they are short of help. Let me tell you she handled the customers orders solo and with a smile and serving hot coffee as soon as she noticed you were low! Later on a employee cleaned the waffle area until it was spotless! We had breakfast here on Tuesday, Nobember 30. I had the All-Star Special Breakfast and my husband decided to try the Texas Melt. The food was excellent: fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and toast and great coffee. Our waitress, Pamela, was very sweet but I felt bad for her because the store seemed understaffed vs the ratio of customers. She was rushing around to everyone and did her best. The store itself was very cold, and I had to keep my coat on the whole time. I noticed that most of the customers did the same. The women's restroom was like a meat locker and I got out of there as fast as I could. Had to warm my hands up on my coffee cup after washing my hands because the water was so cold and the hand dryer didn't work. This store is always clean, though, and you get the fresh hot breakfast and friendly service that customers expect from Waffle House. read more

We stopped at two locations before we found this one in a position they could serve us. We got the standard waffle and breakfast type items. The service and food were fine. It's your basic Waffle House, good service. Fast, reasonably clean, friendly staff. Off the highway and easy to get in and out of.

Waffle House is a quick blue collar dinner. There is nothing fancy here for any white collar office worker. Here they take your order & turn around to cook. Like I said, nothing fancy. The Waffle House is one of the few left great greasy spoon dinners from the ''50-60's. But, in today's environment it seems Just the working stiff likes it. Eat a good meal without the bell's & whistles. My Granddaughter love there waffles and asked to go back. This was her 1st visit & she wanted to see where Pop-Pops ate on the road. Then I had stand up & walk to the counter to see if someone was going to take our order or if I had ok to order at the counter. 20 mins later someone takes our order and our food never comes out. There were others that walked in after us that were getting their food. I complained again & said we have not received our order while other people that have walked in after us were getting their food. I am visiting from CA and we were the only Filipinos in the restaurant. The other dominant races in NC were getting served in a timely manner. We've been here for 1 hr now and still no food. I'm sitting here to see how long they take. I don't even want their food anymore. Disappointed. Would give negative stars if I could. read more

What an absolute slophole. Management has no control over employees or lacks education in restaurant management. We visited dinner time on a Friday and 2 other customers were there but not 1 of the tables was clean. And with the Flys hovering over them the dirty dished have been there for a while. 3 servers playing around, and 2 cooks making something but again the food area has Flys and filth. 1 guy in flannel walking around with the cash drawer which I'm guessing is management? We left after waiting 1min and nobody seemed to move to clean a table. If this is in plain sight whatever is going on here? Find another location to avoid health issues. read more

Flyer said "Call Ahead" for take out orders, but provided no phone number. Found the phone number online and called several times. Went straight to voicemail each time. Walked to restaurant. As I walked in I called again and the manager was ripping the cord from the phone. I said I had been trying to call I my order and she said she had been slammed busy. Worst Waffle House ever , worst service ever -- called in for takeout as I was on my way home called twice, first ting went straight to voicemail ( mind you this has been a pattern for a few months, call and straight to voicemail your call goes ) so having this repeated behavior I decided call again and on the second ring someone picked up and I could hear all the background noise so as an experiment I decided to wait on the call to see when someone would say good morning hey please hold or just anything honestly. So at this point I'm 3mins from home and I've been on hold for 5mins total. So I drive there and I remained on hold to actually watch Not a soul pick up and acknowledged the phone is setting there off the hook. Whilst still conducting business , checking customers out still as if I was never there in front of them, 5 mins past and I'm standing in line yet no one acknowledged me said hey bye you need anything of any sorts of greetings so at this point, my curiosity has been answered to why no one ever picks up. 10mins pass still no one looks at the phone, at this point the phone was invisible! Mind you the phone is less than 4 inches from the cash register. I signal for a cook/server " excuse me ! I've been on hold on the phone for x amount of time ( shows phone to server and the lapse time that has past on hold )and I have been standing here watching and wanting for service for X amount of time. This is when my order was made in less than 3 min ... I will never advise anyone to spend their hard earned money here EVER ! If you require half way decided maybe ever lurk warm service you won't even get that here. Don't eat eat of your traveling because it's right off of I-95 and very visible from the highway. read more

This is one of the most disappointing experiences at any Waffle House ever. It started with calling to place an order and being put on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up called back & they still wouldn't answer the phone but it went to voicemail. My husband and I went into the restaurant and one lady took my order and it was time to go home before it was preprared and then another lady took over the order. She kept getting confused when calling the order and their were 4 people on the grill and they still couldn't get the orde right. They prepared the food ALL wrong and left our burgers sitting out tops open. They then agreed that the order was incorrect & to correct it they would prepare ALL of the orders again while still totally confused. We literally had to speak to cooks over the counter as we witnessed them preparing our order incorrectly for the 2ns time. We waited for ALL of the orders to be remade and they were still incorrect. There were several people who came in to walked out after sitting for several minutes with no drinks or a waitress greeting them. Not to mention the hostess than mopped the floor in a full reatuarant with dirty mop water. After 45 minutes we paid for our order and when we got home the food was STILL INCORRECT!! We called back and they refused to answer the phone so we counted it as a loss. The waitress took our phone number as she agreed that it was ridiculous the disservice we received and said that the manager would call us. We NEVER received a call and I called the corporate office with no response. I under this is a new restaurant but TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! read more

Waiting time wasn't too bad so got to sit pretty quickly. But as soon as that happened, everything started going downhill. We got dirty silver wear with stains and disgusting stuff still on it, and the waitress' hands were dirty as well which probably had something to do with it. After that, we had to wait over 15mins to get asked what we wanted. At a WH the usual wait time is 5-10mins. So this is the longest we've ever waited. After we ordered we got our food and they messed up my order. I had the Steak and Hashbrown bowl w/ bacon. And they gave me 2 bowls, one steak and one bacon, they said it's on the house, so I can't complain too much, never the less, it's too much food. My wife got burnt bacon and her eggs were undercooked. And lastly we've been waiting for yet another 15mins to get our receipt so we can pay and leave. I realize I can stand up and get it ourselves, but we've never had to do that at another WH and we've been to plenty of them. read more

Stopped by while at mule days 2017 & walked right out, this is absolutely the nastiest place I have ever been to, water puddles were all over the floor behind the counter along with trash & food & everyone was just walking all over it like it wasn't their, so we asked if they had a water leak and they said they have not had a chance to clean up when their was only one other family sitting at a table in their, but that let me know they haven't washed their dishes also, then the guy cooking sat the top of the grill in a big puddle of water on the floor & picked it up WITHOUT cleaning it and put it right back on the grill and started cooking on it, we also had hair on our table, I would starve before I ate ANYTHING out of that place. I've never seen anything so nasty in my life, so this places does not even deserve a half star, we drove an exit down and went to the waffle house in Dunn NC, & it was clean and we were very pleased. read more
