First off! The server did not have on gloves. She was wiping her hands on her pants. This is my 3rd time here and it's always a different crew working. The previous crew was very clean and professional. Today was different - sanitation was off. The waffle maker had not been cleaned. The server was not wearing . The other issue I had was they were out of condiments and utensils to go. They are not allowing dine in at this point. COVID-19 cases have spiked so no dine in. 3 other clusters came in and they were not wearing masks. read more

This place could be your regular, old Waffle House but it isn't. The employees were very kind. Our waiter , Sue Sue was phenomenal. She was polite and provided us with nothing short of great service. I wish I had food to post with this review but we only waited about five minutes and it was gone in less than 10. I will surely recommend this location when in Americus, especially if Sue Sue is there. read more

1.5 stars - round up cause it's Mother's Day. The place is not super clean. The cleaning mop was leaning against our table the whole time. The rag that wiped out space and menus after we were seated left a wet sticky mess, and was used to wipe every table and menu without rinsing. The coffee wasn't hot. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't served correctly. A waffle with chocolate chips was ordered. What was placed on our table was a waffle with nuts. My friend took a bite of the waffle, and immediately said these are nuts not chips, and I'm allergic to nuts. She jaw taken Benadryl and she asked for a replacement waffle, which didn't arrive. The bill was presented to us before they remembered to replace her waffle. They wanted to charge for the waffle. Yep. Really. I asked for a refill on my not so hot coffee, and she asked for a refill on her cup of tea because we had to wait so long for her waffle to finally arrive. And by the way, when it finally arrived, it was still without chocolate chips. So the server came and dumped a bowl full of chocolate chips on top of the waffle. And then the server said the coffee refills free, but I can't give you any more water for your tea bag. I am not going to say it's a horrible place. I saw rats and roaches, someone bite my ankles under the table. The waiters don't wear gloves and I saw her touch my waffle with her bare hand I guess trying to see if it's hot or not because I was waiting for over 20min. DONT GO ON THE WEEKENDS BECAUSE THEY LIKE TO RUSH AND THE FOOD DONT BE UP TO PAR During the lunch rush waiters go to take smoke brakes and don't wash their hands afterwards. The kitchen area is VERY NASTY with batter overflowing out of the waffle maker and don't even try to wipe it up. There are homeless crack heads that come in and interrupt the environment. While I was waiting for my food the waiters were eating in my face and still haven't wiped down the counter. One waiter was SO NASTY AND SO RUDE. Overall I love the door corp. Food was good but the poor employees were struggling as other employees didn't feel the need to show up for work. One cook and one waitress with at least 10 teenagers at the counter -each needing individual checkouts. There were at least 20 people outside, but they could not allow them in because they were so busy. The patrons were complete assholes and no employee should ever have to put up with that for $3 an hour plus tips!! People need to at least show some appreciation for the struggling employees trying to pump out the food!!! read more

The day we went there was on a Sunday about 11 AM. The restaurant was crazy busy without adequate help. Somehow they were putting out good food. We had to wait a while to get a clean table. Sue Sue was our waitress. She was a sweet lady who took time with our 2 kids. My Wife and I had the HomeRun breakfast with water and coffee.There was so much food we split this with the children. The food was excellent. Some request for butter and jelly was slow but with the general shortage of labor I think we were blessed to have good food and a waitress that was kind to us and had good food. I have to give a shout out to the cooks that were putting out a tremendous amount of food. read more

Generic location. Really middle of the road as far as Waffle House restaurants go. Nothing really good and nothing really bad to say about this one. Service can be hit or miss as with the cleanliness and food quality and order correctness. read more
