10/10 recommend and I don't even like waffles. I decided to finally try this place after seeing some photos of the food. Delicious! We came on a Thursday around 11:30am and there was nobody there nor a wait time. I ordered the scrambled eggs and bacon sandwich: great taste and portion. It comes with a side of syrup. My daughter got the chicken and waffles sandwich: this was amazing and I'll be ordering that for myself next time. It has fried leeks and onion on it and comes with a side of syrup as well. Chicken was cooked perfectly and it all meshed together well. The banana bread coffee was very good too. I was hesitant to try to but am glad I did. It was better than the cookie butter latte, which was a little too sweet for me. It tasted better after mixing all the toppings. Lastly, I got the waffle bites for my toddler. They were perfectly crunchy and sweet. They came with three dipping sauces- Chocolate ganache, caramel, and strawberry. Very delicious! Staff were very friendly and attentive. Very clean and lots of seating available. Will definitely be returning. They offer military discount also. Also a plus is that they offer the Maine root drinks which I am obsessed with the flavors. STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING RUN TO WAFFLE CHAMPION RIGHT NOW!!! This was one of the best things we have ever eaten! There are so many options but we went with the Apple Pie Waffle and the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Waffle Sandwich, a side of bacon (not pictured), the Cookie Butter Iced Coffee and the Berries n Cream Iced Matcha. That Cookie Butter Coffee...Heaven on earth...if you don't take any other of my suggestions, please take this one! The cold foam was thick and creamy, the coffee actually had a cookie butter flavor without being overly sweet. The match was good as well, we had never tried matcha so we were glad we did. The waffles were AMAZING. I will definitely go back to get the coffee and try more of the sweet waffles. We got the apple pie to share and a side of bacon. Bacon was the perfect compliment to the sweet waffles. The caramel sauce...drooling over right now lol. My son absolutely loved his sandwich/wrap. He said it was one of his favorite things. The staff were very friendly. You do order at the counter and then it is brought out to you. The restaurant was clean and comfortable with outside seating as well. Friendly staff and great food made this a great place for me and my sister to have a girls day brunch. Everything was made fresh to order and you get plenty of food. After several days stuck inside we decided to venture out to get some breakfast. Waffle Champion is nearby our house so we decided to try it. Wha a great place. The young woman who took our order was so sweet and let us know that due to the weather they were giving away hot chocolate. What a treat! I had the Plain and Simple waffles as did my wife but her were gluten free. One of my daughters had 'Smores Waffles while the other just wanted chicken tenders. They both loved what they ordered. Maybe the breakfast hours or weekends are busier but my husband and I had the whole place to ourselves. $15 for what is basically a fast food waffle sandwich doesn't compute for me. Sure they taste fine. But toppings are hit and miss. They don't even have real butter if you want your waffle plain (only $6), just some nasty, grainy melted butter substitute. Staff are plentiful (too many?) so cook times are fast and dining room is pretty clean. Maybe cut back some on staff and lower prices maybe 20%? read more

I will say that this is probably the best chicken waffle I've had here in OKC! The ambiance is clean and refreshing and very welcoming! Finally tried Waffle Champion on Covell. It was delicious! We split both the Chicken and Waffles sandwich and cinnamon roll waffles. The chicken and waffles sandwich was great! Very big portion.
