I've had: Boom Boom Shrimp Taco Trio $10.69 | Shrimp Veggie Bowl $13.99 | Mini Chicken Bowl $5.29 or 'Kids Eat Free' offer with purchase of entrée, Monday - Friday After 4 PM Code: KIDS, Weekend Code: KIDZ. The Shrimp is my favorite. Whatever protein you choose is brushed with Waba Sauce. While I normally am not the biggest fan of teriyaki sauce, I really enjoy theirs because it's not too sweet. They don't go overboard with the sauce and you can always ask for more on the side. The Tacos come with a Sesame Slaw, Green Onions and a sweet, tangy Boom Boom Sauce. The Slaw gives the Taco a nice crunch and the Tortilla is nice and soft. I believe the tortilla is a mix of Corn and Flour. The Shrimp Veggie Bowl comes with a lot of rice, you could even save some for meal prep later. The rice comes perfectly cooked. The reason why I love the Shrimp here is because every single time it's always been tender and well-seasoned. We are not getting any overcooked, rubbery shrimp here. I will say the Chicken is growing on me, it's juicy and tender, and I like that it has a nice charred flavor. The steak is also good, it's nice and tender, but would probably be my last choice just because the seasonings are not my favorite but this is just a personal preference, try it for yourself. I think one entree is enough, a good amount for one person. Also, did you know that they have a Kids Eat Free deal? All weekend long and after 4 PM Monday through Friday you can buy any entree at regular price and get a free Chicken or Tofu Mini Bowl. The Mini Bowl is also a good size for an adult if you aren't super hungry, or even good as a snack. I ordered everything through the app and picked up everything in the drive-thru. I hope they consider eco-friendly initiatives in the future, as I didn't spot any specific sustainability practices or see any mention of them on their website. They're located in a shopping plaza with plenty of free parking in their lot. Service was really friendly. The interior is cute, modern and casual with plenty of inside seating, however, not sure about outside seating. There was hardly a wait when I came on a Friday at 3:30 PM. Everything here is really good, and pretty healthy. The beef and chicken bowls with their Waba sauce are delicious. Even their salads are very flavorful and filling. This location has a drive-thru which is great, but there's plenty of seating inside with big and small tables, and a good size patio. It's always great option for lunch or dinner. read more

Should you desire veggies, that can be a side option as well. That Spicy WaBa sauce is definitely the way to go - it kinda binds everything together and creates a delectable bite of chicken and rice. I recently opted for an all chicken bowl over white rice with spicy WaBa sauce ($10.87) and this was definitely a game changer. I find the carrot + broccoli too undercooked for my liking, so I was relieved to know that I could opt out of that option. While the bowl itself comes with sauce, I suggest you add more sauce should your bowl come lacking. I DoorDash from this location often and it has yet to fail me. I had to use the restroom and realized you needed a key to get in... asked for the key and had to be let in by and employee. I don't know that's always so weird to me. Anyhow, no paper towels in the bathroom. That is my top pet peeve with establishments. I work in the healthcare field and that is such a red flag for multiple reasons. In 2021, I went to this WaBa Grill. I ordered a Plantspired Steak Veggie Bowl [Plantspired Bowl] inside of the restaurant. I waited for my order inside of the restaurant. A worker behind the counter gave me what I thought was my order in a plastic bag. On the counter where customers order, I opened the bag. When I opened the bag, I saw a long, straight black hair, which was maybe a foot long, trapped between the clear plastic lid and the black plastic bowl that contained the food. I think that the strand of hair must have become trapped between the lid and the bowl when one of the workers put the lid on the bowl. While still at the counter where customers order, I took off the clear plastic lid, I took off and removed the long black hair from the bowl and food, and I put sauce on the contents of the bowl. I did not mention the long black hair to any worker, and I do not know if any of the workers ever noticed the long black hair. I was going to eat the food, despite the contamination caused by the long black hair that was previously on top of the food. Before I ate the contents of the bowl, the worker behind the counter said that the order was not my order without mentioning anything about the long black hair. I gave the worker the bowl, and I heard what sounded like the worker throwing it away. I waited for some time as a new bowl was being prepared. The worker gave me the new bowl, and the worker apologized for the wait without mentioning anything about the long black hair. I think the worker took my bowl, and gave me a new one, not because of the long black hair, but because I think the worker who prepared the food the first time accidentally prepared the animal-based, real meat Veggie Bowl instead of the Plantspired version of the Veggie Bowl with the plant-based, vegan meat that I ordered. I opened the bag, and took off the lid on the counter like before. I squeezed sauce from the two different sauce bottle dispensers. I ate the food, and I noticed that it tasted soapy. I performed investigations in 2022, because I was concerned that soap was intentionally introduced into my Plantspired Bowl in 2021 by a worker at the restaurant in retaliation for having to redo the order. In 2022, I performed five General Investigations to see if Plantspired Bowls taste soapy in general by eating a Plantspired Bowl with WaBa Sauce and WaBa Hot Sauce from five different WaBa Grills that were not this WaBa Grill. During these five General Investigations, the Plantspired Bowls did not taste soapy to me. In 2022, I performed five Specific Investigations to see if Plantspired Bowls taste soapy at this WaBa Grill in particular by eating a Plantspired Bowl with WaBa Sauce and WaBa Hot Sauce five times from this WaBa Grill. During these five Specific Investigations, the Plantspired Bowls did not taste soapy to me. I do not know if soap was intentionally introduced into my Plantspired Bowl in 2021 by a worker at the restaurant in retaliation for having to redo the order, but my five General Investigations made me conclude that neither the Plantspired Bowl recipe, the WaBa Sauce recipe, nor the WaBa Hot Sauce recipe taste soapy to me, and my five Specific Investigations made me conclude that this WaBa Grill does not normally make Plantspired Bowls that taste soapy to me. read more

My clinic ordered from WaBa Grill & it was my first time having it so I was excited to try something new. I chose the salmon veggies bowl. Mistake, HUGE mistake. It was cold when it got delivered & the WaBa sauce that it was supposed to come with was nonexistent. The salmon was so bland, texture was off & as hard as cardboard that I could barely cut it into pieces without having trouble. The veggies were disgustingly moist & chewy. Everything was just inedible. I thought it couldn't get any worse but after about 10 minutes of taking a few bites of my meal, I felt so sick to my stomach that I was actually debating on going home. That's how bad it was. This place has 4 stars? Horrifying. If I can give 0 stars, best believe I would.
