The same girl who took our order dropped off our food. The chicken was hot, crunchy, and juicy. My fave were the yucca fries as they had a nice crunch and were hot. One of the exit doors was locked. And half of 2 main entrance doors was locked. Inside was immaculately clean, but not in its kept clean, but as no one patrons clean. Quite pleasantly surprised, the sandwich is quite comparable to other chains(Howlin Rays, Dave's). Juicy, tender, spice level was just right. Everything was amazing, I ordered the 3 piece chicken meal with yucca fries, sweet plantains and an empanada. Everything had a great amount of flavor and cooked well, after finishing the meal I was sad i didn't have more. As a chapina from OC, I remember we had to go out to the LA/downey area just to get this. Now in Costa Mesa and this new spot is just a 10 min drive makes my Guatemalan heart so happy! I got original 2 piece with rice, I usually mashed potatoes but wanted to mix it up a bit and small bun. Chicken was juicy and not overly greasy as others have stated. Place wasn't packed, but a few people were dining in and the location looks clean and very well lit. This is a form of fast food comfort food for me, and so happy to see more new locations popping up. Oh and I got an empanada that was good, nothing special there for me so maybe wouldn't get it again. I've been wanting to try this new fast food chicken outlet. I ordered the combo which is two pieces of grilled chicken and two pieces of fried chicken. Each type of chicken is marinated in their own unique spices. Sadly to say I wasn't impressed at all both types of chicken tasted bland to me. This place is overhyped and overrated. For my sides I had the french fries and macaroni and cheese. The fries are even better than McDonald's almost shoestring. I took one bite of the french fries and had to spit them out they were horrible they were undercut and they lack any kind of texture or flavor.
