I've been wearing clothing from both over the last 4-5 years in shirts and trousers and just find them to be the best for my daily casual wear. 5.11 Tactical offers great looking clothing that fits the needs of law enforcement, first responders, and perhaps in some cases, military personnel. I find their pants and shirts comfortable, with stretch material that gives breathing room as you wear them. I especially like the various types of trousers they offer as they have multiple pocket sets (in some cases even pockets within pockets) because it gives me the space to put some small camera gear when I'm out on YouTube video shoots or doing photography for myself or my channel. Now, you won't find suits for church here but I will say their pants and shirts are certainly good enough to wear when you attend church! It's my type of wear weekly. As for value, note that 5.11 is a specialty store, which means you will pay oftentimes above what you may expect. This shop does not offer military discounts, BUT I will say that you can find great deals when they have clearance sales. I left with a bundle during my visit. Also, if you are military, you can get 5.11 Tactical apparel at the Navy Exchanges at 20 percent off or on special occasions at 40 percent off. That is to say, there are still good ways to get deals on 5.11 clothing - it's how I purchase all of mine. In addition to shirts, trousers, and shorts, you can find excellent boots and reinforced shoes designed for law enforcement and first responders here. I'd like to get a pair for trail walking - I may do that soon! The service from the employees here on this day was excellent! We were impressed with the quality of items, the prices and the variety of colors and sizes. We also found the Attendant who was manning the changing rooms area to be very professional and helpful when we were looking for alternate sizes. I have to say I was very impressed with Nordstrom Rack and will definitely be adding it to my list of places to shop in Jacksonville.

Most of all they ARE the brand wearing the product to which I complimented Mitch on his Nike shoes and shirt. I found several pants that met my fabric feel of choice. Nedra really talked up the 484 slim fit chino which she stated is a fave of hers. She wants her fiancé to start adventuring out more in style of clothing and this really is a great chino. From slim cut to flattering fit on my flat buttock was comfortable. Matt steered me to a more dressier style slack in the Bowery slim. I'm not one to worry about size but fit and feel. This style was perfect and due to the cut with the inseam and across my thighs (due to all the squats) I had to take a 35x32. It was a better choice than the true to size Bowery Slim Stitch that isn't as dressy but rather casual. From the door to the fitting room, the store is merchandised with attention to detail. It's also clean and well organized. I'm a cardholder and I've never been able to find anything that spoke to me (including the salespersons), but this was amazing. The first person who greeted me was Pixie who set the tone. What really is a key factor in my shopping longer than I tend to in one place was Matt and Nedra kept using my name and they kept smiling and moving and not standing around. Their sense of personal service and urgency was noteworthy! It was the best $480 spent in their store after my third visit and one other purchase of $80. Big difference.
