Vue is a new, immersive experience that is next to @fshotelneworleans on Canal. The exhibits go over 300+ years of New Orleans history. From the iconic music to the well-known FOODS! I took my kids and they usually fight. I didn't have to break up one fight they were so into the tour. The Vue is open daily from 9:00am-5:00pm. Make sure you check them out! Perfect for Date Nights.

What a perfect view of Canal Street! The hotel is a bit untidy on the bottom floor. But once you reach the "vue" it speaks for itself. I truly enjoyed my experience! If you are on Canal definitely stop by for one of the best sights in the city!

My date had the Royal Street Heat, crafted by Sean Holcomb, made with St. George Chile Pepper Vodka, agave nectar, peach purée, Hellfire bitters, ginger beer, and a Tajin rim. It had the perfect mix of sweet heat and flavor. Both drinks were so good we ended up ordering two rounds while sitting at the rotating bar listening to a live jazz band. Watching the bartenders work while slowly moving around the bar made the whole experience unique and entertaining. Definitely a must-visit spot in New Orleans.

We were there after jazz fest, and it was extremely crowded so we ordered the bar, took our drinks and found a comfy seat in the lobby where we could chat. We may have seen someone famous while we were there so always keep an eye out. It is a popular spot for people visiting the city.

The presentation of the food came was amazing. We ordered the linguine and added meatballs, which was well worth it. We also ordered the shrimp & grits, which included Brussels sprouts. Boy, it was sure nice to get some vegetables in my stomach after eating all that yummy fried food during our stay! All in all, both dishes were delicious. It is a little on the pricey side, but after several days of eating in the touristy area of the French Quarter, this was truly a welcome change. Service was polite and attentive. I always appreciate the staff's efforts by making simply making eye contact and smiling (which they did). Seems trivial but I think those small things says a lot about a business. I would recommend this restaurant even if you are not a guest of the hotel.

The ambiance is amazing, plus velvet, emerald and sapphire tone, glitzy, and feels like a good photo op. The bar and cocktail menu looked expansive. However, I was going to be hopping on a meeting, so I could not partake, unfortunately. A group got this impressive tower of espresso martini and everyone seemed to be enjoying their drinks! I wanted that New Orleans seafood but had late lunch, so I opted for just the crispy gulf shrimp on cheesy grits. I really wished I can hungrier because the dish ended up being very heavy. The shrimp were nice and crispy. The charred Brussels sprouts gave me the false sense that this was a healthy dish because I was getting my veggie intake. The bacon jam was sweet and went well with the Brussels sprouts. I loved the combination of the cheesy grits and the Crystal hot sauce. It was the perfect amount of both and some how led me to understand why Americans put hot sauce on their Mac n cheese and some other cheesy dishes after 30 years of not really understanding the attraction to that combo. I got the marinated olives to go so I could have a little snack later. They were just stuff I feel I could get in a jar... not really sure if I could justify the price. I think this is a fine place if you're looking for a photogenic night out drinking with a group of friends. Could be really cute for brunch!

I watched him build five classics at a time, clean and fast, no mixology cosplay, no wasted motion. The ambiance was absolutely stunning. We arrived at night, and even in the dim lighting, the charm of the space--from the books lining the walls to the velvet chairs and lush animal-print accents--created the perfect Saturday night vibe. It was also quieter than a typical bar, which made it feel refined and intimate; you can actually enjoy a real conversation while soaking in the beauty of the space. The drink menu is short but tasteful, with a wide range of profiles. With an exceptionally skilled bartender (sad I did not catch his name), every cocktail was perfectly balanced and beautifully executed. He was also happy to craft off-menu drinks by request. The host was also warm, funny, and attentive. We didn't get to try the food this time, but we're already looking forward to it on our next visit!

Once you're in you're greeted by a hostess, who was actually a bit snarky and rude when seating us for our reservation (also said by another guest we spoke to). The actual space itself is moody, dimly lit with red accents throughout. It has a polished feel and the environment is incredibly intimate. Our waitress was very nice and made ordering with a party of 10 seamless. For our order we got a banana Negroni and a glass of white wine. The wine was great, crisp and sweet. The Negroni was strong and bold with the banana peeking through the drink with flavor. They also offer a few bites off their menu but we opted not to grab one there. The whole experience was fun and everyone liked their drinks. It's a great place to relax and get some drinks but the experience with the hostess was a bit off-putting. A great option if you're looking for a quiet, more refined cocktail lounge to enjoy a drink in NOLA.
