At one point, I even stopped him to explain that I thought we were misunderstanding each other and that I had already agreed to his plan of care and recommendations. Despite that, he continued speaking to me in a very demeaning way. I was visibly upset and had tears streaming down my face during the conversation, which was obvious given how close we were sitting. The tears were out of frustration and shock over how I was being treated. Rather than recognizing that or showing any compassion, he simply continued repeating himself. As someone who works in the medical field, I would never treat a patient this way, and I would absolutely speak up if I witnessed another provider behaving this way toward someone under their care. Based on other reviews here, and on other sites it does not appear this is the first time this has happened. This type of behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated in patient care.
