From my first meeting with her, she sat and took her time and listened to me, very personable and down to earth. Somehow, Sutter managed to hide one in plain sight. Dr. Gonzalez Huerta is smart, efficient, straightforward, and refreshingly free of nonsense. He comes prepared, listens carefully, asks good questions, and gets to the point without making you feel rushed. What sets him apart is that he actually thinks. He does not seem trapped by checklists or autopilot medicine. He takes information in, synthesizes it, and exercises judgment. That sounds like it should be normal, but anyone who has spent time navigating the healthcare system knows it isn't. He is also respectful and collaborative. I never feel dismissed, talked down to, or shuffled through an assembly line. He treats me like a person and engages with me as an individual. Dr Lozanov came highly recommend by a new friend, so we decided to see if his office was the right fit for us (we are advocates of a combination of allopathic and holistic medicine). From the moment that we arrived in his office, we felt very comfortable. Dr Lozanov and his staff were welcoming, professional and progressive (as observed by the selection of up-to-date health and medical magazines in his waiting area). On a personal level, Dr Lozanov took the time to get to know us and has offered excellent medical guidance peppered with practical health solutions for the past four years. Follow-up by his office staff has also been timely, helpful and caring :) As an aside, when receiving a recent medical scan, the imaging technician commented that Dr Lozanov's office had a reputation for providing excellent integrative medicine (I agreed 100%). I do not recommend this Dr. You cannot be your own advocate. Not only does he talk rudely to you (very arrogant),but he will discuss ALL of your private information in front of other clients (it's how his office is set up). Why even speak in a medical room if THAT is going to happen. If you question why all the blood work (nearly every three months), he will not explain and just have his staff (his wife) call you do inform you that this Dr. has cut you from the practice. Blood work every three months to tell me I need to take vitamins which, by the way, he sells. And will sell you expired vitamins but tell you they are okay to take. Also, if you have any physical concerns he will not look at it directly. Has ZERO interest. He will simply suggest a local whatever Dr. No referral. You are given a business card to call said other Dr. (This was a simple foot issue which did not require said other Dr. - specialist - but ended up having to WAIT over a month to get into other Dr. - specialist who told me I could have had Dr. Lozanov deal with it).

It's now Friday and I won't get it until Monday IF they have time to look at it!!!! Stay away. They obviously are not in the business of helping their patients - maybe if I offered money I could get the signature????

She gives me the information I need to inform my decisions and I trust her advisements, perspective, and expertise and I feel respected and cared for by her AND her team... who are wonderful as well. My prior allergy doc discussed procedure with me to have the remaining 2 years of my shots at new location and how to transfer my vials for my shots. (He says this is common as people relocate.) FamilyCare Allergy said they would accept NOTHING from my previous doc. I would have to start all over again with skin testing and start my allergy shots from zero. Not only is this poor care, there is NO WAY my insurance would pay for the retesting and to repeat a year of shots!

She waited over two months for the appointment and since it's an allergist's office she felt there should at least be some allergy testing, which was not done. Just a dismissive "if you find out let me know." Really? Total waste of time and money.
