What this doctor won't tell you on their website or any pertaining information is that this doctor…read moreis a "concierge" doctor. And that they will indeed charge you as normal thru insurance. But that they will also charge you a $1200 annual membership fee. On top of insurance. A charge that is not covered by insurance. So basically the oath that the doctor took to help people doesn't matter unless you line his pockets first. Because only if you send me this bribe money will I answer your call or address your health concerns. Otherwise I'm not available. This doctor needs to have his license removed. This goes against everything that their oath stands for.

His site is very misleading, saying he treats the mind body and spirit. It leads one to believe that he is warm and listens. Not even close! I met him because I take my mom to appointments quite often. He was very late and rude, and did not care whatsoever about my mother's thoughts on her own body. He ignored me completely, despite my smiles and polite manners. The receptionist was kind, I feel badly that she has to work for such a cold-spirited man. Such a disappointment. Needless to say, my mother did not renew his rediculois fees. One visit he laughed at how easy it was to get these 'Sonoma softies' to give him all of their money to pay for his lavish lifestyle. There is nothing concierge about his practice at all! He said if you call, you will talk to his staff. That's what he "pays them for, to do their jobs!" he said in a mocking tone! Gross! We are never making this mistake again. We went elsewhere. Please if you decide to see him, speak up for yourself and your loved ones. Ask many many deep questions before you give all that money to him.

I was referred to Dr. Saw Aye by a family member and I deeply regret wasting my time establishing…read moremyself at such a poorly managed and disorganized practice. The only thing the office staff does consistently is make mistakes and sound annoyed each time they need to answer the phone. On more than two occasions my voicemails were not received for cancelled appointments, messages were not given to the doctor, my prescription was not called in/forgotten about, or I was charged incorrectly. Yet the FINAL STRAW was the AWFUL, EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL behavior I encountered when speaking with DR.SAW AYE. I called the practice and asked to speak with him regarding medication he prescribed for me. I wasn't feeling well after taking it and wanted to know if I could reduce the dosage. He returned my phone call but I wasn't able to pick up so I called back immediately. Unfortunately, the office had closed for lunch. I called the on- call doctor to ask questions about the medication I was prescribed because I didn't feel normal. Coincidently, Dr. Aye happened to be the on call doctor that day. I was pleasantly surprised to hear back and felt relieved that we connected since he had prescribed the Rx. I began explaining how I was feeling and to my surprise he cut me off and was very short. He did not let me finish my sentences or express myself. Then accused me of repeating myself (I was trying to get my point heard-explaining the facts after he kept interrupting me- not repeating myself). I asked him why he was treating em with such animosity...? He then proceeds to call me RUDE for using the emergency line for my PROBLEM. Isn't that what the on-call doctor is for? When you aren't feeling well and your regular doctor is unavailable? He kept repeating himself by saying he couldn't help me over the phone and that I needed to come in for an appointment. I had literally just seen him TWO WEEKS PRIOR so I asked why I needed to come in again. He doesn't run tests at his practice so essentially we would be having a conversation-similar to the phone conversation we were having at that moment. He became extremely irritated and said Im wasting too much of his time (it had been less than 5 minutes according to my cell phone call log) and that he would switch my medication to help with a hormonal condition. When I asked what kind of hormonal condition he asked me if I wanted it or not. I said no thank you and he literally HUNG UP ON ME. I have since found another amazing internal practitioner and I will NEVER EVER be returning to DR. SAW AYE'S practice again. Turns out I was prescribed medication I do not need to take after all. Honestly, I cant believe such an UNETHICAL person is still in business. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

The professional staff has always been compassionate and caring. They see lots of patients but that is the nature of the economics of health care today. Sure they are busy. Phone calls often go to voice mail and there is an occasional mistake or oversight but dealing with the front desk is sooo much more pleasant than dealing with my crappy insurance company.

Especially back then everybody said "oh no, don't get back surgery, you get the surgery, you're done.My uncle . . . my friend . . . scary" Finally it was pressing on the sciatic nerve so badly I couldn't walk. I thought my life was over. Since I was "done" anyway, I had the surgery. That was in 1989 I think. After recuperating and getting my muscles in shape I've been completely pain free. I was able to coach my kids baseball and soccer teams, be a soccer referee, running up and down the soccer field with a bunch of 16 year old "cheaters" was unthinkable before I met Dr. Harf. The guy knows his craft. Don't worry about the people here that don't get him. After getting to know him as his patient all these years, and having broken my body several times and having him fix me up every time, I love the guy. He's is a very decent human being and a fine Doctor, he's from New York and I know some Californians don't get New Yorkers, so that . . .. As another poster observed, you want "warm and fuzzy" get a dog, you need a good orthopedic Doctor? Don't be a pain in the a**, let Dr. Harf help you.

Unprofessional, Dismissive, Poor Manners…read more He did surgery on my father's knee. When he went through PT, he complained of pain and his leg was still excessively swollen. Dr Harf's reply was, "I don't have anything to do with that, you have to talk to your doctor". Now, here we are 7 months later and my dad has to go in for another surgery because Dr Harf neglected to repair all of the knee correctly. He is dismissive, judgmental, rude, and not thorough. He should be seriously assessed for his medical license. Save yourself trouble and get a referral to someone else.
