We had them replace the ripped porch screens, power wash railings, roof, and the entire exterior of the house, as well as clean the gutters. They also replaced our old lousy gutter guards. Rudy did several walk arounds with me during the project to show me the progress and point out areas of concern, such as places where there were gaps in the existing deck trim that had caused water damage under the fascia. They were able to replace all of the rotting boards and added new trim to cover the gaps, which we hadn't planned on, but it made the deck much more sound and looks great, even better than before! He also pointed out that a number of our other old window screens around the house were frayed or torn, and offered to replace them while they were there, at a very fair price. The entire deck/porch looks new again. His team took care to carefully clean up the work site before they left. This is a family business, and they were consistently kind and very responsive. We will definitely use them again for future projects.

The house was left in truly appalling condition. The cleaning crew worked and worked and worked so hard and so long I was telling them to stop. They made a filthy house fresh and pleasant again. I would not have thought it could be restored to such a fresh condition. The next job was replacing the old casement windows which were rotted wood frames in crumbly 1950s cement. They not only repaired the window foundation area but other foundation ugly spots as well and put in beautiful new sturdy basement sliding windows. They also re-dug and replaced the adjoining window wells which were undoubtedly the original wells and were falling apart. Regraded the foundation area around the wells and reseeded without being asked. While they were in the basement doing the windows they cleaned a bunch of that up too so it's no longer a horror movie waiting to be filmed down there. The contractor, Alex showed up sparingly and maybe completed 20-30% of the project. He came back maybe once or twice over the course of the next month. It is not JULY 31st and we have not seen him in a month. DO NOT HIRE. He doesn't answer calls, texts or emails. We reached out to family of his to make sure he was alive and he lied to them about everything. We are out nearly $13k for this project that we saved up for. He texts us that he will show up 2 times in the last 2.5 months and has been there ZERO times. We want a refund for the money and we can finish the project ourselves. Go check the Better Business Bureau and Small claims - he had tons of customers he screwed over!

I'm unsure why there seem to be poor ratings, but our service was phenomenal. The representative…read morethat came to our home was Jamie, and he took his time in showing us everything about these windows. It took a little over 2 hours, but so very thorough. There were no surprises. He even worked with my senior citizen parents to ensure they got the best price for their budget. When we thought our installation date was going to be 3 months out, he made sure that we got our windows within the month we needed them. The installers were truly incredible. They are expedient to say the least. The whole process is down to a science for them. They arrive and the first thing they do is look around the house, help you if any small items need to be moved, then they place drop cloths and cover anything that could get dust on it. Once they are done removing/installing the windows they make sure everything is clean and just as it was from vacuuming to window wiping. About 7 people were working on our 15 windows, + the installation of a Bay Window. The whole process took a little over 4 hours, just as they said. There was absolutely no damage to our home, only we discovered the next day that one of our screens had a latch that wasn't working. But all I had to do was call customer service and they followed up with me immediately to schedule a technician to come out the following week and fix it. That hasn't happened yet but I don't anticipate any issues given how seamlessly everything has gone so far. I would only recommend checking those small things before they leave, but again it was a non issue to call them after. Plus they only bring the materials they need so they'd still have to schedule someone to come out after and fix it. Also, BONUS PERK! The birds don't wake me up at 3:30 in the morning anymore!! They are the bane of my (sleep) existence during the summer and I can barely hear them with the windows shut. Looking forward to those energy saving costs for our A/C and Heating, I anticipate these windows will do more than just noise control. :) Thank you castle windows for such a stress free experience.
