Please read EVERYONE! I am Josue's wife, (who also wrote a review). We received a time quote of 15 hours over 3 days to have our car finished, it proceeded to take a month to finish, with either rene or his crew coming approximately once a week except for the end, which was 3 times. Rene asked what model the car was, my husband read the back of the car to him. Mechanics never do that, they come and inspect first, get the details themselves, then proceed to give a quote. So when my husband gave him the details, he asked for $1300 upfront to pay for the parts (again, real mechanics don't do that). Then when the wrong part came in, he blamed my husband. Then he ordered the correct part which came in 2 days later, but he did not show up to put it in for 2 weeks. We would attempt to call and text him with no communication back. When he did answer, he ensured us that he was on his way, and never showed up. He would come up with every excuse to why he didn't come, and continuously asked for gas money. There was a pacifico can left where his staff was working, and I have the video footage of who left it behind, along with video footage of employees sleeping in cars while "working" and sitting in our car smoking. When the car was FINALLY done, my husband and daughter and son attempted to drive it, and it started smoking, and stranded them in the street 4 times before having to turn back home and leave it. When we drove the car back to our regular mechanic, he said that the car was way worse off then when he saw it a month ago and diagnosed it! He said our car was missing screws and was going to cost double what we paid rene to even get it back to what it was before him and his staff "fixed it". So the mechanic suggested that we just sell the car because it was in very bad shape and he quoted it as "sloppy patch job" that didn't even fix anything. And yes, it did have a misfire before we trusted rene with it, and we told him that it did. But when we talked to our mechanic, he said it was not the same misfire, it was a completely different one than previously! Please everyone, do not use this company or any mechanic there! He told us from the start that he was a rare honest mechanic, but he was completely dishonest the entire time. Wasted time, a TON of money on him, our scrapped car, ubering everyday, renting car after car with promises that the next day the car would be done just for him to not even show up.
