Came here on a Thursday evening for dinner after work with some friends. The place wasn't crowded, so we were able to find seats right away. The service was efficient and quick, and the people who work here are friendly. I ordered the beef pho, which gave me the option of choosing up to 3 beef part (I chose the rare steak and the brisket). The pho tasted great particularly the beef broth, and the portions were filling. Interestingly, the pho also came in a square-shaped bowl. Also, it was a bit on the pricey side, coming out to $9.25. My friends and also ordered their shrimp spring roll, which probably had too much lettuce with an odd after-taste. Used to be really good !! Used to recommend people to go there but now I feel awful for talking about this place. It's just regular now. Nothing special. Foods were just ok. loved their Pho and service at one point but will not go back anymore. Couldn't find the server to ask for utensils. Didn't have the usual hot oil peppers among others at our table. Then once again couldn't find the service so we had to get up and go to the register and ask for one. The portions of foods itself was terrible. Then when it was time to leave, the gave us a soup container to pack our left over rice and stir fried chicken in. Yeah. That bad!! This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been too. The Vietnamese Crepe is an all time favorite dish. Also got shrimp pho, which was perfectly spicy, and veggie dumplings. Everything was well prepared and fast, but the crepe was my personal favorite. The staff was helpful and very nice. There aren't too many spots in the area to get Pho. I usually travel to the Philadelphia region to do so(can't trust everyone's Pho) but Vpho is my new go-to place. The Thai iced tea and veggie pho/broth is delicious! My children get the chicken and beef and they love it as well. You see a variety of people eating here which to me, means the food is widely enjoyable. The 1st time I came service was a little questionable. It seemed that there was only one young man servicing the dining area and there was a bit of a wait. I noticed orders for people who arrived after me came out before mine but I'm a pretty patient person so I rolled with it. I was totally satisfied when my food came. Despite my wait on the first visit, I came back for another visit later on in the week and no complaints. I had a fabulous take out meal here. I ordered a chicken banh mi and for later in the evening I grabbed an acai bowl for after my workout. The banh mi was incredible, the perfect french bread that you'd expect from any banh mi, great flavorful chicken, and pickled veg with the right hint of hotness that I enjoy in these sandwiches. I'll be returning here for that sandwich. The acai bowl was really delicious, fresh fruit, coconut, and yummy chunks of acai was a great post workout meal/snack for me. Thanks to another reviewer we had no trouble locating the restaurant which is on the right side of a strip mall. My experience with Vietnamese food is limited but this place seemed authentic. We went on a Thursday about 6pm. No frills. The restaurant was pretty busy-- about 1/2 full. We were greeted warmly by a pleasant woman who seated us in a roomy booth and gave us menus right away. Our server appeared soon after to take our beverage order. I think other than hot tea, all beverages are canned/bottled. Our server was friendly and helpful. She was attentive throughout despite the growing crowd. We started with steamed veg dumplings (filling was a little different than I'm used to but ok) and fresh veg rolls which were missing mint I believe was listed as an ingredient. Overall both dishes were fresh but missing something. I had the veg pho with beef broth which came with a lime wedge, large sprig of fresh basil, bean sprouts and other fresh greens. The soup had fresh broccoli, mushrooms, onions, over cooked rice noodles, those baby corn cobs (could do without) but no cabbage/bok choy. The tofu was the thin sliced type I prefer cubed. The broth was very good/flavorful. My sister had the crepe with chicken which came with fresh basil and greens. She liked it. Large portions. If I return it will probably be for takeout. read more

This is probably my favorite Vietnamese food in Wilmington Delaware. The restaurant is nice and clean so far , parking lot the front of restaurant . Service is nice but short hand . They should hire more people work in there . I like smoothies avocado and bun Rieu cua in here . Pho beef was ok . Chicken phó was alright. The price is little higher than other Vietnamese restaurant . Price start from 3.50 to $16 if I don't remember wrong . They have good desserts and coffee . This was my first time trying pho with tripe (alongside rare steak and brisket) and it was fantastic! Everything I ate was delicious, but the grilled pork banh mi was insanely good. The Pho is excellent! Delicious broth, just right noodles. You can't go wrong with the Pho. I love that they have combos and the kids share the V-Box. This was my first time trying Vietnamese food! And I loved it!! It was so fresh and the flavors were just perfect. The food service was good and there's was ample choice. Now the reason I took one star - I had to visit the place twice to get seated!!! The first time we were there we waited 10 mins to get seated and still no one got us a table. And the restaurant was less than half full. We left after waiting for 10 mins!! The second time we were received and got a table. While we were eating another family came waited for a while and left just like us as no one received them! I highly recommend this place. I would rather do take out than dine in though. (Have tried both). They have DELICIOUS food. My favorites are the crispy tofu (appetizer), shrimp and tofu satay (appetizer), the rice meals (pork chop with shredded pork), and tried the beef pho with beef balls, brisket and rare beef. Everything was superb including the bubble tea (had the avocado with taro / tapioca balls smoothie). If you order using the eat 24 /yelp app, food is available in 15-20 mins. for pickup after you order. Even the dipping sauces are excellent (there's a variety, that one with the cucumber is sooo good!) Eating in was less than satisfactory though because of the service and took a while to be seated so I definitely will recommend the food, and picking up/ take out. read more

Great pho place! New in town but still a place you need to go to. The parking is around the side, you need to park directly in front to get a good spot. Every drink there was to die for- they really do have everything you could ask for. Our waitress was funny and seemed to be having a great time. Then server never came back to check on us again and we had to walk around the place to find our server. The owner walked by and didn't even ask how things were. I can understand that service quality suffers when you don't have enough staffing. But that's why you need to make sure there is enough people working to serve your customers. Finally a place with good pho! A lot of places in Newark claim to have pho but it's just random broth with noodles. This place not only has a great aesthetic, but the food was delicious! Walking in I knew we chose a good place because of the yummy smells. I ordered the brisket (nam) pho with pork & shrimp spring rolls and I LOVED IT! The food came out quickly without sacrificing flavour. The handmade spring rolls were beautifully wrapped and the peanut sauce was incredible, I even scoured the plate for every last carrot shaving. When the pho came out I was surprised and delighted! The use of spice in the broth was so authentic and good. Loved it! Also when The waitress brought me water it was in this cute little glass with a lime. Very sweet staff and great food.
