I gave 3 stars as an average between our two experiences. This last time, our DJ was an older guy (I don't want to mention names). He really had a hard time connecting with our group. He didn't have the music that many were requesting. It seems to me that every DJ should have access to a Spotify account to pull up every song when requested. Another thing that baffled me was that he was using CD's. Who uses CD's in this electronic age? Not to mention that several times the CD's WERE SKIPPING! (very unprofessional) The sound wasn't very loud and didn't sound very good. Maybe this is because the system only had one speaker. I would assume that every DJ would have two speakers. I really hate to give a so-so review but a DJ can make or break a special occasion. Be sure to ask about these issues and interview your DJ.

Andre is a complete professional, which by my definition means that he is courteous, responsive, efficient, helpful, and fits the occasion both in appearance and attitude. Some specific examples: 1) Customer service is high-priority! I never had to wait more than a few hours for a reply to an email or phone message, and a definite time was offered if Andre was unavailable at the time he answered. 2) Andre has many years of experience doing all kinds of events. His objective is to make the event exactly what the customer hopes it will be. He doesn't interfere with the planning, but if asked for assistance, makes excellent suggestions. In my situation, there were multiple scheduling changes that concerned me, but Andre was supportive and understanding, and made simple-to-incorporate suggestions to keep things running smoothly. 3) Andre definitely knows his music . . . don't hesitate to ask him for suggestions for special wedding dances or last dances! 4) His prices and contract conditions are reasonable and clearly-stated, and his planning forms really helped me to organize the event. They walked us through everything and provided a lot of helpful insight throughout the planning process. We had complete control and were well taken care of. Weeks before the wedding we had a FaceTime call with our DJ, Javin Harden, who was so helpful, provided documents regarding the playlist and stages of the event that were extremely helpful. We had a great experience working with him. The photo booth stopped working about halfway through the reception and stopped printing the pictures, but they assured us that the photos will be saved and sent directly to us following the event. Not ideal but it was a good compromise and better than nothing. Overall, we absolutely loved using Vox DJ's and would highly recommend them to anyone for weddings.

We spent months planning, had multiple consultations, and provided detailed documentation outlining the exact order of events and song selections especially picked for our ceremony. Unfortunately, the ceremony music was a disaster. The wrong songs were played at the wrong times, songs were repeated, cut off, and there were multiple moments of complete silence. My husband walked out to the wrong song, the bridal party music was never played, and there were several awkward pauses while our coordinator was texting DJ Will to try to get him to play the right song. I even had to wait to walk down the aisle because the correct song was not being played. This was one of the most important moments of our day, and it was completely ruined. my mood right before walking down the aisle was anger. After over a year of planning and trusting a professional vendor with such an important role, this level of disorganization and lack of execution was extremely disappointing. We did not receive the quality of service we paid for. Even after reaching out to Diego their account manager he ghosted me twice for a phone call that was scheduled to discuss what happened. From the Dj to their admin this was a terrible experience, I couldn't say anything positive. Don't have your wedding ruined or your money wasted.
