Mind you, my coworker spent 27 years in the service so this party WASN'T all about the rap and hip hop you usually find nowadays at house parties or teenage parties. This party had some rock n roll, some top 40's music, some 50's (think Jukebox diner rock), and everything in between. Galaxy did an awesome job with the music, the introductions, some MC'ing and worked nonstop till about 12am (I wasn't sure how much the party planner had to pay, but it was good). The lighting was pretty good and the music volume and music choices were perfect for the setting. I think they took a lot of requests and also had a play list from my coworker too. The thing that gave them top honors in my books making it worth the time to write this Yelp review was that I had a projector slide show for my boss who spoke at the party. The problem is, I didn't have an extension cord or additional plugs for the laptop and projector. Mike and Frank let me borrow their equipment without hesitation. All in all a good night for everyone I think. I'm sure Galaxy Star Productions does every kind of event you can think of, they even drive from San Diego to LA to DJ! Great job!

They walked us through everything and provided a lot of helpful insight throughout the planning process. We had complete control and were well taken care of. Weeks before the wedding we had a FaceTime call with our DJ, Javin Harden, who was so helpful, provided documents regarding the playlist and stages of the event that were extremely helpful. We had a great experience working with him. The photo booth stopped working about halfway through the reception and stopped printing the pictures, but they assured us that the photos will be saved and sent directly to us following the event. Not ideal but it was a good compromise and better than nothing. Overall, we absolutely loved using Vox DJ's and would highly recommend them to anyone for weddings.

We spent months planning, had multiple consultations, and provided detailed documentation outlining the exact order of events and song selections especially picked for our ceremony. Unfortunately, the ceremony music was a disaster. The wrong songs were played at the wrong times, songs were repeated, cut off, and there were multiple moments of complete silence. My husband walked out to the wrong song, the bridal party music was never played, and there were several awkward pauses while our coordinator was texting DJ Will to try to get him to play the right song. I even had to wait to walk down the aisle because the correct song was not being played. This was one of the most important moments of our day, and it was completely ruined. my mood right before walking down the aisle was anger. After over a year of planning and trusting a professional vendor with such an important role, this level of disorganization and lack of execution was extremely disappointing. We did not receive the quality of service we paid for. Even after reaching out to Diego their account manager he ghosted me twice for a phone call that was scheduled to discuss what happened. From the Dj to their admin this was a terrible experience, I couldn't say anything positive. Don't have your wedding ruined or your money wasted.

He went above and beyond for us, and helped make our wedding perfect! He is responsive to emails, prompt, professional, and incredibly warm and friendly. He worked closely with the wedding coordinator to make sure that they had shared all the pertinent details, had a solid timeline, and generally kept things running smoothly. He even came to our rehearsal to make sure that everything would be correct the next day. For the ceremony, he actually created a song for us when we were having trouble picking recessional music; my husband and I liked the opening flourish of one song, but the main body of a different song, so Andy beautifully blended them so we could have the best of both! It was exactly what we imagined, and he provided it when we didn't even think it was possible. He was great at the reception as well.
