Today, 6/16/26 a friend and a I came in for snacks and pool. I was having a really rough day and…read morekinda didn't know to expect for the end of the night. We had a lovely waitress named Eva. I need to give her credit because she was so sweet and so kind and left a massive impact on my experience at Dave and busters and I can't thank her enough for that. She always made sure we were taken care of, she was a delight to talk to and she just made the rest of my night so much better. We had great conversations and were connecting over having very similar names and people getting them mixed up all the time. She was truly a joy to have around and she just brought such an amazing light to our table every time she stopped by. I really hope her management gives her a round of applause and more because she is fantastic. Respectfully, Ava

I have seen one server leave the area from afar... same server has now come to the table. I asked for bbq sauce after the food was delivered. It was never brought. The OF drink is fair. The Strawberry Nirvana is amazing! I want to give this a 3 star experience, and that is solely based on the food, but the service drops it to a 2. The greeting and especially the wait time (excessive) and failure to bring any condiments (bbq, salt, pepper) to the table after requesting it makes this a poor experience. I may come back to sit at the bar. I would think twice before ever visiting the restaurant. Needs immediate improvement.

Is there such a thing as the quintessential "Dive Bar?" If so, Koots fits the bill. A dark maze…read moreof fun-filled rooms, a sassy bartendress and a brooding crowd. (Chef's kiss )

This place was very interesting. I spent 4 years of my life in Anchorage before visiting koots. I…read morefeel like Koots is somewhat of an institution to the town so I was definitely curious about the bar. I'm glad I went to check it out, but outside of going there for a show I don't see myself going back. Seriously gave me college bar/frat house basement party vibes. Considering I went to a Big 10 school in the middle of Illinois I'm very well versed in that type of establishment/vibe. It's not exactly the kind of place I want to go to as a 30 something year old. I went there for a burlesque show. Shout out to Pulse Dance Company! The show was amazing and tons of fun. The bar itself I don't think has had any updates since like maybe 1995, and that estimate is probably generous. This bar was probably the place to be when it first opened, but now it's kind of just tired and sad. It could probably be better if they took the time & money to renovate it, but they don't really have an incentive since people go there regardless. Koot's kind of just exists, but considering Anchorage is the biggest metropolitan area Alaska has it's a confusing type of establishment to find here. If you're looking to party though it seems to be the spot!

It sits at the end of a mostly abandoned strip mall. It is noticeably more spacious than its competitors. Like all places that require a waiver, try to get that taken care of online, before you're there physically. It's not uncommon to experience an incompetent employee working the pay desk, and holding everyone up. Give yourself plenty of time and exercise patience...it's for the kids. There are lots of tables available for you to sit and spread out. I appreciate the long tabletop with stools, that sits directly in front of the trampoline area, so you can further helicopter parent. There are rock walls, arcade games, and other random items for the children to enjoy, in addition to, the trampolines. They sell dip-n-dots ice cream as well as pizza and other snacks. Naturally, Shockwave is starting to show its age in some areas. What's important to me, is that everything was safe and looked clean, including the bathrooms. My kids always have a blast and tire themselves out here. Till' next time Shockwave Trampoline Park!
