Nothing changed in my driving and my last car had three chips it's whole life. I was freaked out, okay? So I started calling around for protective film (clear bra) and ceramic as was recommended to me. Some of the rates were a few hundred (side eye) and some thousands. When I called I was given a straight answer (some places say "Oohh, we need to see the vehicle first") and I was given all the prices and details. He walked me through the process that would happen. I needed a short turn around, so we worked out a time for me to bring it in a few weeks later so they could meet my need. Everything was done on time and it came out so beautiful. Before a car wash would be sullied within three days (and it's garaged, it was that bad), but it has been a week and still looks perfect. I have to wait 2 weeks to wash it, which freaked me out from my past experience with this car, but it has been fine! I'm not sure it's regular practice, but the inside of the car was vacuumed and cleaned up which was a pleasant surprise. The owner works on cars and has a couple of guys that help. Easy to work with and would happily see them again for details.

DO NOT USE SOAPY JEFF's if you actually care about and need your vehicle. I've been a repeat customer of Soapy Jeff's thanks to my mom. She gifted me a gift card a few years ago and that kindness coupled with excellent service kept me coming back. After way too long, I finally made it back to the Plano location, and happily dropped off my new to me car for the Bumper to Bumper service. I was embarrassed by a year's worth of dirt and grime and wanted to start fresh with a good wash and internal detail work. There was an unexpected power outage shortly before I arrived. I patiently waited as they worked to get back up and running, an early sign that I should have walked away right then. Everything was eventually fixed and $300 later I'm rolling through the wash, happily watching all the ick disappear. Knowing the detail work takes more time, I asked a gentleman in the office if I could run some errands and come back later. Once confirmed, I was on my way. A few hours later I would return to the most expensive detail job I ever, and sadly the reason I will not be returning. Not only did they crack my internal console cover, there is now a gaping hole where something was forced through the hard plastic. After filing a report, I proceeded to drive away and my Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) light would not go off. I turned around and went back. I took more photos and updated the report. I dropped my car off without any issues and inherited a financial nightmare. I got home and had to go back over the rear license plate, rear window, radio and windshield. This morning there are water stains in my front passenger seat, the SRS light went off (a sign of too much liquid/water apparently) and that hole in my console? The part alone is almost $1,000 to replace, not including labor as I'm unsure I can replace it myself. This happened 24 hours ago and I've heard nothing from them. I cannot in good conscience refer anyone to Soapy Jeff's after this. If you're like me and need your car for work and school, I would not trust this place, and I don't say that lightly.

Three cars were in front of us, in which team members were running from car to car moving them forward in line. It seemed the spa needed more employees to keep the cars moving forward quicker and more smoothly. After our $8 basic wash, they towel dried our windows and we exited.

Someone posted a $45 wash and interior clean but it seems to be $170 now. Well that made me drive to the quarter wash down the street. There were no cars in line when I arrived. The attendant didn't bother to talk to me about a wash so I got out of car and took a photo of sign. The only person that did approach me while I was here was someone begging for money. On a hot day I'm not sure where one could get out of sun while they washed car. There are much better options- and places where someone will get off their stool and ask if they can help you. Maybe the attendant could tell I wasn't going to pay $170. No one else was while I was there.
