You could barely see out of the windshield and wiper fluid alone didn't cut through it all. So I thought I'd beat the rush on a Friday at 1:40 pm. Wrong! There were so many people in line we were forced to be on Arapaho Road, which really made me nervous. I was hoping all the people coming up behind me and others in line would see that we were completely stopped. I had my blinker on too. I wish there was a way to line up for the car wash that is off of Arapaho road when it's busy. I guess I could have gone back at another time. Once I got up to where you pay, I chose the basic $10 wash. It moved fairly quickly once we were in the queue to enter the actual car wash. There is something so peaceful and mesmerizing about watching the soap and the brushes clean your car!

Tom M, let's put this into perspective. That air freshener probably costs you pennies on the…read moredollar, yet you're willing to lose a loyal, paying customer who spends hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars at your establishment over it. That's not good business. That's an embarrassing lack of business judgment. What's even more astonishing is that you took the time to write an entire essay defending a policy over a product that likely costs you less than the paper your receipts are printed on. You seem more concerned with proving you're right than understanding why you're losing a customer. Nobody was asking for unlimited freebies. I asked for ONE additional air freshener after spending another $65 on a detail, on top of my monthly membership. The fact that you felt the need to compare that to someone demanding unlimited fries at McDonald's tells me just how far you've missed the point. Here's a basic business principle you apparently haven't grasped: The lifetime value of a loyal customer is worth considerably more than the few pennies it costs to keep that customer happy. And the irony is that you could have resolved this entire situation with a little common sense and decent customer service. Instead, you've managed to turn a virtually worthless air freshener into a lost customer and a public demonstration of poor business judgment. You can hide behind your policies, defend your employee, and write all the lengthy explanations you want. None of that changes the fact that you chose to protect pennies at the expense of dollars. The air freshener wasn't expensive. Your inability to understand the value of a customer is. And perhaps that's the biggest difference between simply working at a business and actually understanding how to build and retain one.

I took my car to Wash-Wash Car Wash & Detail (formally Perfect Wash) because I thought, why not give them a chance. I own a 2012 Acura TSX that I take very good care of. I keep it serviced and washed. There are several things I noticed when I got my car back from being washed and vacuumed... 1. I watched as a young girl cleaned the inside of my car with the vacuum. I found it odd that a car wash business allows young children to wash and vacuum expensive automobiles. 2. When I got my car back, I got in and noticed that the floor mats were still dirty with debris and the middle console was still dirty. ( I got in my car and drove straight home bc I thought oh, well... let's not make a big fuss over this) 3. When I got home and got out of my car I looked down and noticed a piece of the plastic trim on the bottom of the drivers seat had been broken. The piece was sticking out slightly. I immediately got back into my car and drove the 2 miles or so back to the car wash. 4. The supervisor I spoke with said his name is Jay John (or Jon ). I showed him the damage to my car that was not previously there before the car wash. I told him that the young girl must've broken it when she was cleaning. The supervisor denied this and said that it was not possible because of the shape of the vacuum nozzle. He then brought one of the nozzles they use over to demonstrate. As he was demonstrating how the nozzle couldn't have broken the plastic trim, he popped the piece out of place ( that he previously tried to "fix" by shoving it back into place). Even though, he made it pop out of place with the nozzle, he still denied that his employees broke it. 5. I asked for the corporate contact information and he said there wasn't any. I asked who signs his checks and he said he did. Jay told me that he and a partner are the owners of the establishment. He then gave me his email address for me to file my complaint with. I asked for a separate number to contact his boss or anyone above him. He would not give me any contact information for his partner in the business. Jay John continued to deny any wrong doing. He didn't even offer to fix it or even give me a refund of the $26 I paid. 6. I called the Plano PD and they told me that they could not file a report because it is a civil matter. 7. After talking with the police, I then just left since the manager of the establishment seemed to not care about the damage they caused and denied it multiple times. If you want your car not cleaned and damaged, then take your car here. This was the worst car wash I have ever trusted my car too. The biggest mistake and headache.

I think the cheapest outside wash was like 8$ all the way to close to 20$. I asked if they dried the car afterwards and they do not- which usually I don't like- so I got the cheapest outside wash. However they do provide towels when you are vacuuming your car- so I really liked this better because even though I dried my car myself, I did it the way I wanted to and it looked nice and shiny at the end. The staff seemed really nice and on top of cleaning and picking up after people. The vacuums were good quality and you get one on each side of your vehicle and you don't really share them with the car next door like most places do. They have a lot of spots to vacuum so it doesn't feel crowded either. I think they may do inside cleaning as well but I honestly didn't ask about prices. Definitely I will be back to this car wash.
