We always eat at Vorelli's every time we are in Provincetown and we love having their famous Bloody Mary and the delicious chowder and lobster roll. They are open for the 2026 season and are family owned for over 50 years. Michael was our server again and we loved seeing that he was back for the season! read more

The friendliest staff! We selected a window table which was perfect for watching what was going on outside in the comfort of air conditioning. The burgers were delicious. All cooked to perfection and the potato salad was the bomb. The Caesar salad with steak tips was fabulous! You can't go wrong stopping in here for lunch. My only regret, they don't have a dinner service any longer and they had the best steak au Poivre! Maybe a Au Poivre burger? I can't forget to mention the prices were VERY reasonable! Don't walk by this place! read more

Had lunch today, the Lobster Roll and Clam Chowder were New England perfection. Lived in New England my whole life and I loved their seafood. Every table around us was saying how good their food was. This place is so relaxed and the old school vibe was shining through. The service was over the top attentive, we had 3 lovely gentlemen checking in on us with kindness and caring. Prices are the best that we've found on our many visits to P Town. Stop in for a beer, it's cool and chill, a great break from the action and heat on Commercial St. Great people and very good food. read more

Great lunch for a reasonable price. Had the steak sandwich and my husband had a custom made vegetarian sub, they were happy to accommodate the special request. Lunch was under 30$. Serving was friendly fast and efficient. This is not the glamorous spot to be seen, it the place for a great fast meal. read more

VERY slow service. our waitress is friendly but just taking their time. decor is nice but still, been waiting an HOUR for a grilled cheese, burger, and 2 lobster rolls. haven't gotten food yet but i will say the chowders great. if you have over an hour of time to be waiting for food in an almost empty restaurant then sure- come here. but if you have a family of 3 and a 4 year old then skip it. read more

It was a rainy day in P-Town and four of us were shopping. One of the four of us requires libations whilst partaking in retail therapy, so we decided that Vorelli's was just the right place. It was! We had cocktails, snacks and good conversation. Super friendly service, relaxed vibe and a solid menu with options for everyone. Cheers!! read more

We stopped in for lunch and were so happy we did. The decor is old world style charm with wooden booths, soft lighting and relaxing music softly playing. Our server was personable and engaging. We ordered the half lobster roll with clam chowder. The meal was a nice portion size and so delicious. There were large chunks of tasty lobster served on a toasted roll with a side of bread pickles. The chowder was just the right texture of creaminess with plenty of clams and potatoes mixed in. Prices are very reasonable and meals are served in a timely manner. Stop in if you're in town! read more

Food: The Clam Chowder soup tasted like canned soup. Disappointed. The 1/2 lobster roll was mostly bread and a leaf lettuce. It was pre prepared with mayonnaise. I couldn't order it without the mayo. The lobster was okay. I've had many better. It was served with a package of mini oysters crackers instead of a piece of fresh toast. Service: Excellent! The staff was SO nice. No complaints. They were very courteous, upbeat and positive. Ambience: old English style decor with heavy dark wood. Clean. Dim lighting. Daytime light from front windows provides extra light. Antique shop smell. Didn't try the bar but it looks like a lot of choices. read more

Great little quiet restaurant . We sat near the window and watched people walk up and down Commercial St. The service was awesome. I had the crab cake with baked fries. Went after a whale-watch excursion, came here because The Lobster Pot was backed-up. Should have waited. My wife ordered the fish tacos, which she really liked. I ordered a Portuguese shrimp Mozambique. While the sauce was good, the shrimp were inedible, overcooked and beyond rubbery. Like the improved urethane version. I asked the waiter if this was intended, he assured me it was. I left them untouched. We will never return. read more

First off- out server, Dean, was the best! He gave us tourist tips and recommendations from the menu. We had the lobster roll, chowda', and other sandwiches. The food was mediocre. The lobster isn't fresh since the season has been delayed due to the whales. Bloody Mary's were yummy. read more

I started reading the Yelp reviews as we were sitting there waiting for our server to arrive. ( I know but it was 100 degrees outside and it looked fine) "Oh great" I said to BF-" maybe we should leave?" He said we're already sitting so lets wait. And wait we did for 10 minutes for the server to come over and ask if we wanted something to drink. He was very frazzled, and I think there were only 2 servers in the restaurant. It's small (no strollers allowed) but they had 2 big parties of 5-10 people. Bartender looked surly as we walked in - no acknowledgement- woman outside with menus was pleasant (why we went in) and sat us immediately. We ordered a dozen oysters (from Hyannis) that were good- but not cold enough for me. However, they were $1.50 ea compared to $2+ elsewhere. Then we had bowls of white chowder- pretty good, not the best but certainly not the worst. Then we split a steak tips sandwich. It was actual steak tips, not shaved steak, but there were only a few small steak tips, tons of mushrooms and then oddly a piece of American chees that looked like it had been microwaved on. I was able to pull it off in 1 piece. Blechh. Server was ok, not the friendliest but not rude. All in all, I would not go back. They need to work on their people skills in the house (although the woman server we saw seemed much more pleasant than our server). And the food- well any place has oysters and clam chowder, The steak sandwich was overcooked (BTY they do NOT cook any meat anything other than medium to medium well- a concept I call lazy in a actual restaurant that's not a chain) and tasteless. Nest time I will check out Yelp and find a better place. read more

Grabbed lunch here on a Saturday and should've taken the hint by how empty it was. Had to send the clams back as they smelled off. Got 2 dozen oysters and had 4 bad ones. Soup was just ok. Steak tips were more steak chunks but seasoned excellently. Server was lovely. read more

We stopped here for lunch after an exhausting whale watch trip in the cold. We weren't very delighted with our meals but it was okay. We both got burgers and fries. The burgers were fine, not amazing but did the trick and we were hungry. The fries were not very good. I know due to COVID, everything is wonky but the atmosphere is just very quiet and dull. The brand they use for ketchup/mustard packets were a weird brand and tasted terrible. Overall we probably wouldn't be back but I have heard good things about their lobster rolls. read more

We came in for the Bloody Mary, and stayed for lunch. Big mistake. My lobster roll came with a 1 ounce bag of Utz chips. It contained chopped up lobster meat on a stale toasted roll. All for $18.95. My wife's crab cake sandwich was also on a stale toasted roll and came with over baked potato wedges, which were fairly hard to chew. I was going to ask for fries, but thought better of it when I sampled hers. The Bloody Mary was great, and the service was fine, but when I mentioned my concerns I received the "well this is P-town" response. Not true, and we will likely not return to find out for sure, as even the lobster roll take-out on the pier (john's foot long) is far better and comes with delicious fries. read more

My husband and i ordered our favorite lobster rolls, they were too salty , lots of mayo, not worm. We didnt want to complain. In a few hours we both got sick. Called the manager to refund us. Instead of making me feel better she asked if i know where the lobsters are caught from, why i didn't tell they were bad. Trying to put me down Punished for being nice . Should have returned the lobsters right awAy. Yelena read more

People are pretty harsh with their reviews of this place, but I thought my meal was excellent. I ordered the Boursin burger medium with caramelized onions. It was messy but absolutely delicious! It was an expensive meal but I still think excellent food. read more

So, I've been visiting P-town for years and love to go in early spring before the crowded tourist season begins. One of the reasons I love to visit is the lack of chain restaurants in the area. I like the small family owned businesses, and enjoy putting money back into the area. We saw the woman outside of Vorelli's holding a menu, we peeked at it and decided everything looked good. Besides, I've walked past this place for years and decided it was time to give it a shot. It was just my 12year-old daughter and I. The place is somewhat dark and dank, but clean enough. No frills here! Servers were friendly and attentive, but our server, a friendly older lady, absolutely reeked of cigarettes. I ordered a bowl of chicken dumpling soup with 1/2 of a tuna sandwich. My daughter had an Italian sub. My soup was flavorful but came in very small coffee mug. My tuna was bland/flavorless and very small. My daughter's sandwich was large and had a respectable amount of meat, but lacked any other real flavor. The sandwiches at Subway are far better. We did not complain because the servers were so nice, but this lunch was lackluster. We should've kept walking by like we have done so many times before. read more

Worst meal I have ever had. Fries tastes like wood chips. Mashed potatoes were so sour, I think they were made with bad milk. Crab cakes were flat out disgusting. They put a wedge of watermelon in two of the plates.. Is watermelon supposed to be brown? Paid and left quickly, hope I make it through the night. read more

Avoid this place at all costs! Our server, although pleasant was super-slow. She brought me the lobster roll instead of the lobster salad I had ordered. My partner's steak had the consistency of a tire. And the final straw was watching the hostess pick her nose at the hostess stand as we ate a few feet away. YES, that actually happened. This was the worst dining experience in recent memory. read more

I can't comment on the steak, but I liked this place a lot more than Chuck S. Didn't really know where to go in P-town, so we stopped here. This is a small steakhouse, with a loud bar. We decided to split two entrees--we got the lobster ravioli and the crab cake dinner. Both were really tasty. Lobster ravioli was particularly fresh. The crab cake dinner had waxy beans and under ripe mango as a side dish, so that was less than stellar. For dessert, we got the chocolate lovin spoonful. DO NOT ORDER THIS! It was too dry and hard to eat. Coffee was burnt and there was no tea option other than black tea. Service was great though. Not a place for a vegetarian. read more

Honestly the food is just as bad as the service behind the scenes. I worked here for only a few days to be horrified at what goes on here. The owner screams at her employees on a daily basis. Also if a server messes up a dinner order somehow, that server has to PAY for that meal. Which I am pretty sure is ILLEGAL in the state of MA. Employees are treated like crap and thus the service suffers. I will say that the seafood they use is fresh but unfortunately how they cook the food makes for very bland dishes. Unfortunately their restaurant and menu is stuck in the 60s. There are plenty of other great places to visit in PTown. If you want old school seafood definitely check out the lobster pot! read more
