    Voodoo!
    Stacie L.

Very cute but small space...only one table to sit at so must be more popular to take your donuts to go. Loved how they showcase the donuts in the spinning case. We heard these were the best donuts in the world, so we had to see for ourselves. The Memphis mafia was definitely the best donut I've ever tried. The rest were also great but very similar to a place in our hometown. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I'm glad we tried this place out. The only reason I think 4 stars is because it's about twice as expensive as any other donut shop I've been to.

These doughnuts are LEGIT! Got the a maple blazer blunt and a Portland cream and they were both SO good. Was nice to not have to wait in line like the Portland location too

The staff was absolutely wonderful! The girl with the short pink hair was such a joy. SUCH a wonderful environment. One of the donuts tasted a bit like fryer oil but otherwise the chocolate coconut one was to die for.

I feel bad giving them two stars since a lady gave us a free one but I really don't think their doughnuts are good. They're just dry didn't taste like much to me. But then again I'm not partial to donuts but these just aren't it for me. I really appreciated the service and the lady's kindness.

Donut special - this was my fave of the 3 we tried

The selection of donuts at any Voodoo is one of the most diverse, whacky, and entertaining you'll ever come across. And I love the way they add selections that reflect current events. The employee who helped us here was friendly and helpful, and the interior space was clean and fun. We all tried something that struck our fancy, and shared all around. Donut quality/texture/flavor was similar to other Voodoo Donut shops I have tried - I'd say roughly 6-7 out of 10.

    So excited!

So delicious. Worth the visit. We had a mix of donuts but I loved the cinnamon sugar donut.

Passionfruit Cheese Cake & Voodoo Doll

Being from the PNW originally, Voodoo Doughnuts holds the gold standard for doughnuts in my opinion. The crazy designs and quirky names are fun, but don't let that distract you from the quality and taste of the doughnuts! My go-to is always the Voodoo Doll, which is ironic as I don't like any other doughnuts with jelly filling. This one is just special! The balance of jelly filling to dough to chocolate glaze is perfection. The pretzel stick is the perfect accompaniment to cleanse your palette from the sweetness of the doughnut. Plus, it's a super fun design! If you are going to pick only one doughnut, this is it! I bounce between the Maple Cream (which is my second favorite) and other seasonal varieties depending on my mood. This time I opted for the Passionfruit Cheesecake as it sounded good and proceeds also went to the Humane Society of America, which is a soft spot for me! I was unfortunately a bit disappointed in this one as it lacked overall flavor. The doughnut had a bland cheesecake filling and while the passion fruit icing was bright and delicious, there was not much of it. This is the first time I have not liked one of the doughnuts from Voodoo, however. The inside of the store is super fun, with bright pink paint and cool art. It varies slightly from each location, but overall it embodies the keep Portland weird vibe! The guy taking my order was very friendly and the service was quick. Voodoo doughnut is always my first stop whenever I'm back home visiting and I love that there are many options throughout the Portland/eastern Oregon area so that I can get my fix!

Good things come in small pink boxes- in this case a dozen vegan donuts

Omg please come to the Bay Area. Love love love these pockets of heaven. Yes people vegan doughnuts can be yummy and this place I believe is the king of the vegan doughnut movement. Be a team player voodoo creator and share the magical secret you call a recipe so I can reap the small pleasures of life and make this a part of my diet. To sum up. Yes I recommend this place.

These donuts are ADDICTING as hell! We only got 6 of them and I swear to you, me and my husband DEVOURED them all in one sitting "sampling" them each. Sampling turned into bites and then the bites made everything disappeared. The donuts that we did pick did not disappoint. Even the most plain one was a hitter - LOL! I also copped me their new designed cups and if I'm being honest, its a hit at work. Everyone was in 'awww' with it. If I am every in Portland, there's no way that I couldn't pull over to grab me some donuts from here. Service was great and provided details on whatever donut we pointed out to.

The bubblegum pink building and box of doughnuts topped with all sorts or sugary craziness is a Portlandia icon. So many visitors to our state make the trip to the original downtown location and you see them carrying pink boxes on flights back to their homes. For locals, we know there are other locations where there are no lines and there is plenty of parking. Such is the Voodoo Doughnuts on SE McLoughlin. The building looks like the doughnut box, big, pink and square. Inside is bright and if possible, has more pink. You can see them making the doughnuts through a glass window and they have the rotating doughnut case so you can see what is fresh and available. I prefer my sweets on the less sweet side and at Voodoo, that's hard to find! Most are covered with lots of icing and then topped with sugary cereal or Tang powder or cookie crumbles or marshmallow or everything! For me, I go with the Portland cream, a yeast doughnut filled with vanilla cream and topped with dark chocolate glaze. One is enough for me! Or the famous bacon maple bar. There is a reason "bacon" comes first, with two full strips of bacon on the maple glaze, this doughnut is legit! The perfect salty-sweet flavor bomb! When I'm bringing them home for others to enjoy, I get my two faves and then pick 10 of the craziest. It's a bit further of a drive, but I do like this location and the one on NE Sandy. Plenty of parking. Rarely a long line or wait.

    Old Dirty Bastard

Yum, even after a few days still yum!!! They have such a good selection and a cool atmosphere. There is definitely a donut for whatever you are craving! I got the dirty old bastard and the Oreo and peanut butter was so good together! I'll definitely be trying some more!

This place has awesome donuts. My favorite is the vegan old dirty bastard. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and the front is always clean.

Two Ring of Fire doughnuts and a Cinnamon Sugar doughnut.

I am attempting to go to as many Voodoo Doughnut locations as I can. Maybe and eventually I will make it to all of them but we will see. From experience to cut down on waiting in line going to the locations in the Portland suburbs is definitely the way to go. Compared to the two Portland proper locations the lines are teeny tiny and sometimes nonexistent. This location had a very small line and by the time we left there was no line at all. If you want to experience the original location then go ahead and do it but clear some time out as the line will be significant. Many locals aren't into Voodoo Doughnuts so much of the customer lines are tourists but I still like the doughnut shop quite well. I've been to Voodoo Doughnuts enough times I am not really looking for the zanier doughnut varieties like the Voodoo Doll shaped doughnut filled with red jelly with a piece of pretzel stuck in it's heart (but it's good to try once) but the more basic doughnut types is where my heart lies. A favorite of mine is their Ring of Fire doughnut with a spicy hot chocolate goodness this doughnut is one I always buy. I also like their Powdered Sugar Doughnut. The other doughnut I fell in love with and haven't had in a long time was the Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut. That one was very good and I had that one along with the Ring of Fire at my visit to this location. Those basic ones I enjoy very much and I scratched another location off of my list. Looks like I may get another location scratched off when I go back to Colorado here in a few weeks which I am looking forward to. It is kind of wild that Voodoo Doughnuts only had one or two locations for the longest time and now they are in multiple states with more new locations on the way.

My son and I have been here dozens of times over the past year, especially more recently since we intentionally weaned off Starbucks, and honestly, no regrets. Service is always friendly, which adds to the charm. My go-to is their sugar-coated classic donut: simple, nostalgic, and hard to beat. That said, they tend to sell out of the classics quickly, so if you're a fan like me, go early or prepare for disappointment. I'm not personally into the mochi-style donuts; I prefer mine airy, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth soft. But to be fair, my son and friend love them, especially the raspberry and lemon mochi flavors. My son also enjoys their Vietnamese coffee, especially with white chocolate as a replacement for condensed milk, his new favorite alternative to his usual Starbucks order. As for me, their standard coffee beans are a bit zesty and citrusy, which doesn't quite suit my taste, but others might appreciate that brighter profile. Still, Coco Donuts is a solid neighborhood gem: local, dependable, and sweet in all the right ways.

I rushed a review, checked in, moved on. That was a mistake. This place isn't just a bakery it's a quiet little weapon in your romance arsenal. You walk in and you're hit with that warm, sweet scent of fresh bread and cream, the kind that makes you slow down whether you planned to or not. Now here's the move: don't overthink it. You don't need to walk out with a whole cake (though you absolutely can). Grab a single slice chocolate, fruit, cream-filled, whatever catches your eye and bring it home like it actually means something. Because it does. Small gestures hit harder than grand speeches. And if you really want to step it up? Have them make a custom cake. Yeah, it's not cheap. This isn't bargain-bin dessert territory. But you're not paying for cheap you're paying for precision, presentation, and that moment when someone's face lights up before they even take a bite. Fun foodie fact: Tous les Jours actually means "every day" in French, and the whole concept behind the brand is baking fresh, daily no shortcuts, no stale shelf life. It's a South Korean-born bakery that blends French technique with Asian-style lightness, which is why their cakes aren't overly heavy or sugary they're balanced, clean, and honestly easier to keep eating than you probably should. That's what puts this place on my list. Not just because the cakes are good but because it delivers something people forget matters: intention. You're not just buying dessert here. You're buying a moment. And if you play it right, that slice might be worth more than the whole cake.

The pastries all look beautiful and they had milk bread, mascarpone bread, different flavored croissants, macaroons, but the best part of all were the beautiful cakes. If these are Asian inspired cakes, then they're not going to be as sweet as American cakes. And I like that! I bought a couple of cookies. I think a lot of these items you could get cheaper at H Mart, 99 ranch, or Uwajimaya.
