A pink paradise! Adrian helped us through the selection of our doughnuts, we really appreciated his overall vibe and friendliness. I went with the Homer and the VooDoo Doughnut and my friends got the raspberry Romeo (that jelly is SO GOOOOOD), the banana cream + mango one (forget the name). Delicious!! Thanks for having us.

Some of the best donuts in town I like the blueberry & the maple bacon oh so good but I did get a dozen and ate 3 in the car before I even pulled out the driveway..lol the guy was very helpful with explaining all the different kind of goodie's they had.. so if you want something a little different from your usual donuts stop by and check voodoo out

On the hunt for a good apple fritter donut. This place is located on the corner next to Pinks hot dog, the building itself is PINK, you can't miss it. Plenty of parking, before stepping into the place you can see the menu of the difference donuts. The apple fritter is HUGE, so sad that I couldn't find any apples in my donut. So sad! Old fashion donut was dry and not moist. The churro cheesecake donut was good and I think the cheesecake helped it from being dry. The oreo donut was also dry. Blueberry cake donut, that one was actually moist and flavorful. Overall, I probably won't be coming back to get donuts here. 2/5 were good donut.

Recently found myself in LA and wanted to go to Pinks. When we were done with lunch, we saw Voodoo and decided to stop in. There was a line with a few people ahead of us and just one gentleman working the counter. We ordered a few of the voodoo doll donuts as well as the Memphis and the strawberry donuts. The voodoo donut was very good and this was recommended to me by my sister. I like the raspberry filling and that it isn't too sweet like a pie filling. The strawberry was very good and the Memphis was like nothing I have had but very good. At around $4-$5 a piece its not bad. I would return.

I have a serious sweet tooth, and donuts are one of my favorite treats - but not all donuts are created equal. Voodoo Donuts is the real deal. Huge variety, super fresh, and apparently they make them fresh three times a day. I took my mom and dad there and we all agreed... some of the best donuts we've ever had. My personal favorite is the maple cream with Bavarian cream filling. So good.

I'm preface this with the fact that I'm not a breakfast guy or a donut guy. Bad for the hips lol. However, I've heard of this spot and I figured I'd bring a friend a few treats after lunch. Stopped by and the room was very welcoming. Staff was awesome and knowledgeable. They were friendly and willing to give me their personal recommendations. The vibe inside is a chill donut shop. Very clean and well maintained. The donuts were pretty good. The icing is a little sweet for my taste. Almost like a fondant type of texture which isn't my favorite. But they did have this apple donut which had an apple chutney inside and a chai spice icing. By far my favorite of the batch. If you're in town, it's a pretty cool spot to visit at least once.

Today, I had the pleasure of trying Voodoo Doughnuts. The apple fritter was very good. The raspberry filled donut was very good too. We will be ordering again from Voodoo doughnuts!

Pink building on the corner of Melrose--you guessed it, Voodoo doughnuts. I first had their donuts when in Portland, perhaps like most, and I was so happy that they are making their way a little further down south. I was greeted upon entering and hopped in line. I ordered the Vegan Belgian cream and Vegan Raised Glaze. The Belgium cream donut was good, but a little on the sweet side; the raised glaze was absolutely delicious. It rekindled fond memories both the donuts and the shop in Portland. It was clean inside of the establishment and the service was great. Definitely worth a visit and it's right on the corner you cannot miss it!

Not bad donuts but nothing to go out of the way for. I mostly come for the funny designs and because I'm close by to one. Tried it at city walk. Tried it in another state on one of my travels and my enthusiasm is about the same at each lol. I've tried a few different ones like the Homer, the dirt, this time I tried strawberry shortcake which was one I liked a little bit more and they had a funny Pac-Man one called "cok n ballz" which I got for the meme factor of surprising my friends with this "funny shaped" donut. Donuts here are like $6+ for the specialty donuts and no disrespect the donut shop by my house with their $7 donuts though a little more costly are way more impressive. Not a bad spot to try out but nothing to make a crazy detour for. The decor and names are creative but the donuts have always left me feeling just whatever about them.

Years ago, I attended a party where someone brought a box of VooDoo Doughnuts. I remember trying the signature VooDoo Doll doughnut. Not sure who I was mad at, but I'm sure they felt it when I bit their head off. LOL! Based on the name most people think this place originated in New Orleans. However, it was founded in Portland, OR by two friends - Kenneth "Cat Daddy" Pogson & Tres Shannon. VooDoo offers traditional and unconventional flavors sporting clever names (like Old Dirty Bastard) and creative toppings. Their repertoire includes 40 artisan creations and 10 vegan options. I finally had the opportunity to check out the new location on Melrose. The first thing I noticed was the visually appealing décor and the vast selection of tempting doughnuts on display in the carousel case. The young man behind the counter was very friendly. I asked for a Raised Glaze for my nephew and a Churro Cheesecake for me. Both were yeast raised and they were thick, fluffy, & chewy. The glaze was sweeter than I expected but better than what you get at a regular ole donut shop. The Churro Cheesecake was coated in cinnamon sugar topped with dollops of creamy cheesecake and a caramel drizzle. There was also some cheesecake filling inside. It was exceptionally yummy! It was very filling, so I saved the rest for the next day. Next time I'm in the area I will try some other flavors because "Good things come in pink boxes."

3.5 stars. My peeps road-tripped from LA to the Bay & brought me back a few Voodoo Doughnuts, & because they know me so well, they chose flavors I also would've handpicked, had I been there. I tried: -- buttermilk bar: nothing will ever compare to Randy's Donut's version, this one included. Not enough sugary, crystallized glaze, & the overall taste wasn't as good. -- butterfingering: I mean, that name is just so wild; major points for that, alone. An ok cake donut with a delightfully-chunky topping of candy bar goodness. -- maple cream: my favorite of the trio. The filling wasn't cloying which helped balance out the thin, sweet glaze. Edible gifts to show you thought of me on your travels: always + forever five stars.

Bottom-line: donuts here are made with sugar, spice , black magik and Angry! Just the way I like it! Oh and vegan options too! My rating distribution for donut joints in Los Angeles has been consistently high-rated . Why? Los Angeles has some bomb ass donuts . Voodoo has an incredibly wide array of options, many of them are wacky Dr Stein like creations where sugary holes meet meat. I take a minimalist approach when judging à donut. Call it based, but my metric boils down to this: À good donut need not any toppings -- or very little. I ordered the regular glazed donut, and one glazed donut with sprinkly frosty top with a cherry filling. The regular glaze was moist, creamy the way a man likes it! The flex sprinkled frosted topping plus filling was fresh -- no store bought high -fructose generic corn syrup here. 5/5

Ambiance: the donut shop is located at the corner spot, right next the pink hotdog place, it's for takeout orders only, they have a rotating display rack for donuts, unfortunately it's very gross to see huge cockroaches running on the ground and into the store from outside Service: you can place order online or through the counter, and it's generally fast to pick up, staff working here is very friendly and patient with questions, provided useful suggestion Food: they have variety choices of donuts, and some seasonal items Voodoo Doll - **** Raised yeast doughnut filled with raspberry jelly topped with chocolate frosting and a pretzel stake, and the characteristics of Voodoo Dolls are all different, creative designs, recommend Old Dirty Bastard - *** Raised yeast doughnut with chocolate frosting, chocolate cream-filled cookies, and peanut butter, bold sugary taste Price: large pieces and decent prices, each donut cost around $5

We have someone vegan in our office, so this is perfect since their donuts are plant based, I believe. If I were a being of greed, I would have eaten more of their donuts, but since this was a special occasion and people genuinely wanted to eat the donuts (since sometimes I know that food is left in the breakroom for awhile if people aren't interested in consuming it), I only tried one donut. I got to try their Yo La Mango. Love the bright yellow, slightly tart mango glaze and the dash of Tajin on top. It's sweet, tart, and has a slight kick wherever the Tajin was sprinkled on. Never had a donut like this before. Would love to come in person to try out more of their donuts one day if I ever make the trek out.

He was the one taking the orders and preparing the orders. Even when it got a little busy, he was super nice and patient with everyone, specially us who kept asking questions about their products. We ordered the following: * Black sesame - this was my fave. It has black sesame with mochi and red bean paste and they all complemented so well. * Creme Brulée - very tasty with a little crunch from the creme brulée. Not overly sweet and with a generous amount of filling as well. * Coffee Creme Brulée - this was like the creme brulée with a hint of coffee. Almost like a mocha flavor. It was also good! * Pistachio - this was also really good. It was not overly sweet either, perfect filling ratio and complemented well with the bread. Overall, their donuts are definitely one for the books. It was soft and delicious. Amazing customer + amazing food = highly recommend it!
