The strawberries were moldy or the prosciutto was hardening. But they usually do a good job on removing those items off the shelves.

Why would you mess with anything under the hood when you are just changing tires???? Oh, last but not least, they didn't replace her valve stems and they ruined one of them. I swear I wish I were there when she took her vehicle there. I would've made them do everything right or give us a full refund and take your tires back. I swear.

After I had some difficulties, I started screaming like Malcolm from Haunted House 2 when his believed dog got crushed by a heavy suitcase, and he dramatically tried to revive her. That's what my scream sounded like when I was frustrated, except I didn't revive a mushed dog and my scream wasn't that loud. But the security lady was caring and kind, and she helped me out. Within minutes, I was able to figure out how to use the kiosk without my dad having to do all the work for me. Eventually, I was able to get my new registration and a new license tag in the process. I was informed by the pickup department that my order had been canceled at approximately 5:40 PM--just 20 minutes before my scheduled pickup time. If the items were unavailable or there was an issue with my order, I should have been notified several hours earlier. Instead, I received no communication and was left to find out at the last minute. I spoke with Johnny, the closing manager, about my concerns. Unfortunately, his response was very rude, defensive, and unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience or trying to help resolve the situation, he was disruptive during the conversation and made an already frustrating experience even worse. I understand that inventory issues happen, but customer service and communication are extremely important. A simple phone call or notification earlier in the day could have prevented this entire situation. I hope management and corporate take this feedback seriously and address the way customers are treated, especially when dealing with canceled orders and frustrated customers.

I've shopped here many times in the past few years, but seriously! this place has really gone down hill! the store manager is rude, the baggers are not all there mentally, the checkers are ehh, nothing special, some good some horrible. Bakery is ehh too. Deli- oh my goodness. Worst experience. I always get there Avacado and turkey sandwhich usually during my lunch hour, but once in a while i will stop by after work, and each time i feel like i shouldn;t have. The women who work at section are very rude, and make you, if possible, guilty about buying their product. One of the women, a younger brunette lady, always has a major attitude. The men are okay. But the few women I;ve had make my lunch/dinner, always make me feel somewhat uncomfortable and upset. Although there sandwhichs are very good. Worst store attributes: -Long Lines!!! There are never enough cashiers working. Usually just two, and sometimes the lines are so long they wrap around the store. -Bad produce!!! -EXTREMELY limited seafood section. -customer service is hit or miss There are a few very nice cashiers and other store employees, the meat department staff is usually the friendliest -Store seems poorly managed, and very unprofessional. -Made the mistake of buying dairy here. Dont make my mistake! Especially if you are not prone to checking expiration dates! I've bought so many items here that were on the verge of expiring within the week! sometimes their already expired! -customer service DESK is a joke! every time i try to get a money order, theres NEVER anyone at the desk! so i try to talk to the closest pefrson i can find, and either they say theire going to get someone to help me, which ends up being at LEAST 20 minutes later or that "theres no onev here who knows how to do that!" -filthy shopping carts and bathrooms! -High prices! if you want to save money, do not shop at vons! -DONT BUY CIGARETTES HERE EITHER! they almost never have anything! their always "out" of all major cigarettes every time i go! last time i tried to buy some, there were only like 5 cigarettes in the whole case! NO lites of any kind! horrible. PROS: I really like their soup and sandwhichs (in the deli section) Some of the staff can be very friendly and accommodating. (there was this short girl with glasses, bless her heart, was very patient with me when i forgot my wallet in my car, and was so sweet, even though the customers vbehind me were getting all hostile about it, and cause the lines were so long that night.) there is also an older guy who works the graveyard shift, hes very friendly and such a nice guy! Always says hello to me. Theres a few other nice and helpful employees, but they usually seem like their all in a bad mood, and seem like they dont be there. They usually have very beautiful flowers in the floral section. Balloons are made eloquently Bakery bread is very tasty! Well, I was standing at the checkout counter, waiting for them to add my groceries. The lady at the cash register was conversing with the guy who bags the groceries. And she was sharing her text message war between her and a friend. While I stood there in front of her for three minutes while she finished doing her texting. This happened about 1:30 PM today. Sunday. I'm writing this message because if I were a manager of a store. I would want to know what my employees are up to when I'm not looking. And there was a line there. You could look on your camera footage and see for yourself. That's why I gave the roundabout time. Somewhere around 130. Somewhere in that time factor. I'm the guy with the gray hair and the white shirt. Watch closely and you will see that I'm just standing there for a very long time while she finishes her texts. And has discussions with the guy bagging the groceries about her text and the problems she is having. If you don't value your customers. Then you don't have much of a business. Because the customers are the business. And if you start allowing employees to treat their customers like that. Then it could be a reflection of BAD management. My wife and kids were almost assaulted here. They were in line waiting for 15 minutes at the deli when a man cut in line in front of everyone and demanded some food. The lady at the Deli gave him the roasted chicken that my wife was waiting 25 minutes to finish cooking . Everyone in the line was upset that she had served our food to the man who cut in line. My wife asked the man why he didnt he wait in line like everyone else and he said "all i want is just a chicken" my wife said she was waiting in line for 25 minutes for a fresh cooked chicken which he grabbed. He told my wife to take TAKE IT. He nearly assaulted my wife and kids and was glaring at my 8 year old daughter like he was going to kick her. This store is run by degenerates that is why people think they can come in this store and act like this. This store is not safe. The store employees and the store managers do not have any integrity nor a stitch of moral fiber. They allow this store to be run to the ground by vagrants, homeless, thieves and criminals. They just turn a blind eye. The store is over run by apathy and nobody cares. The police station is 1 block away this should be the safest store in the whole city. Such a shame. read more

The absolute worst super market in Anaheim. The employees are poorly trained, uninformed, and couldn't answer a simple question without having to ask at least two superiors. The fact the cashiers and baggers are so bad at their jobs is somehow superseded by how incompetent and clueless the management is. It seriously took three people (including the day manager, who is a total clown) to refund a transaction on my credit card that was their mistake. And even then they had to call somebody from the back to figure it out. Von's is a very good argument against a $15 minimum wage increase, statewide. None of these morons deserve to be making a penny more without some comprehensive retraining. There are literally hundreds of better grocery store options in the area. The only reason anyone would choose this piece of crap over a Mexican market would be racism. The one star (besides being my lowest option) is strictly for Kyle. He is cool. Every single employee that I've interacted with has been extremely attentive, helpful, polite, funny, and/or cool. They're never in a bad mood and there's always plenty of employees to help. Everyone from the butcher counter to the stockers to the checkout line is top tier. I've been here 5 or so times, usually late at night, and every single time I have an interaction that leaves me smiling- which is super rare for a store. They also let you pay the remaining balance in cash/card which is helpful if you go over a bit. They also not only bag and put everything on a cart for you but they also push the cart out to your car and help you load. This is extremely helpful as I said I have two younglings to wrangle, which is usually a pain in the butt at normal grocery stores. Their parking lot isn't that big because they share with other businesses and a WIC office but it's better than no parking or having to pay for it. I really appreciate the workers too. They were so kind to me the first time and I was able to get as much as possible for my family. I live in Whittier but I make the drive down here because the fruit and vegetables are high quality. They also have large portions, I got huge pomegranate, dragon fruit and Asian pears that were massive and delicious compared to other grocers. I would recommend them to everyone!!!

I hope the owner and management take this seriously and provide better training. Customers deserve respect and proper assistance. Good products and prices are important, but poor customer service can make customers choose not to return.
