Apparently there are different quality screens that can be offered. Refused to keep throwing good money after bad and interesting enough, the Apple store had original screen for $325. Guess it is end of season for last year model and dropped price for screens to get rid of them Lesson of the day: check prices and gain clear understanding with questions what are you getting into. Vendor will not offer without prompting the story about "various quality levels" for screens available or that you may get stuck with lines or screen colors/clarity is not what you are used to.

In fact you have to call them at the gate that surrounds the building. They only do curbside drop off of your equipment which I thought was odd. I spoke to the guy and stated that it was an old unit and did he really think he could repair my unit. He stated that was "what they do" and only if the customer doesn't want to invest in the repair is generally when they don't repair the unit. I didn't want to pay the $125 charge up front and only $50 would be applied to the repair after the diagnostics. He emphasized that they had been in business for 30 years so I decided to leave my unit. About 3 WEEKS later he calls and says that the parts aren't available and if he got a used unit with parts that it probably would not be worth it. I was willing to pay what was needed to get it repaired. I would NEVER recommend this company, I wish I had followed my first thoughts and declined his services. I just feel that I was ripped off. These NEGATIVE reviews are real. They probably can do some repairs on various units, but I wouldn't trust them as a best practice.

My ps5 scuf control has been having stick drift for about 5 months now and it finally became too unbearable. Instead of sending it in to scuf and paying approx $100-150 after them having the controller for over 6-8 weeks, I was more than happy that Robert was able to fix the stick drift for more than half that price and same day. He replaced my joysticks with TMR joysticks which will be incredibly less prone to get stick drift and even it does, I can recalibrate the joystick magnets to fix the stick drift myself.
