The waitress was lovely and spoke English to help me along. I sat outside and watched the sunset. This is important to know: they take AMEX! Most places in Europe do not and I was so happy to have my corporate AMEX accepted. I highly recommend for a small bite after taking in the sight of Basel.

Less than a week before we had been to a Michelin star restaurant in Nancy that couldn't hold a candle to this food. This is neither an exaggeration nor hyperbole. The chef came out and talked to us and was very friendly and very excited to be making food that makes people happy. You can tell his heart is really in this. Through the dinner we had an amazing wine pairing and finished it off with more custom cocktails to match our dessert choices. In short: possibly the best food and cocktails I have ever had.
