Came mid afternoon and it was very cute inside. We came at the right time as someone was leaving. There are limited seats inside. There were some seats outside but it was cold. Service is friendly. It is very quaint and cute inside. Sandwiches are small but good for one person each order. Fresh ingredients especially the mozarella pesto. Overall, good to stop by for a bite and tea!

My first ever meal in Europe! The staff was so so so friendly. We have trouble speaking French and they helped so much. They also have half their menu translated to English which was great and made it a more easy going experience. The juice was very refreshing and delicious. My boyfriend LOVED his coffee. The toast was incredible for both of us! The ingredients are so fresh. I felt full but not heavy. I really enjoyed the experience and food. It's a great little cottage near our hotel. It's near the water and a cute park. It felt very welcoming and comforting inside. I would come back.

The family at AtlasAdventured highly recommends this restaurant! I wish I could give this place 1000 stars! We first stumbled upon this place in 2018, and it ended up being one of the most memorable meals of our world trip. The location, staff, and of course the food was impeccable. The homemade spelt bread toast with rhubarb vanilla jam is absolutely out of this world! We decided to travel the world again in 2023, and I knew we had to visit Geneva again, solely to come to Cottage Cafe. And this time we brought our whole family. Everything ordered was amazing, and the staff were super helpful and patient with us. Thank you again! I cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful spot to enjoy a fantastic meal. Excellent service, too. Everything we ate was exceptional. Beautiful food presentation with lots of yummy, fresh veggies (and we had great cheese). And don't forget dessert! They had some very original ice cream flavors! We indulged in the caramel with tarragon (had a licorice like taste)

Dark chocolate walnut brownie

A must do if you are in the area! Great views, delicious food at a reasonable price and the service was friendly. Highly recommend the avocado toast and fruit bowl.

The outdoor seating is the best, I think. Inside is stuffy and loud, but the food makes it worthwhile wherever. Obviously I'm not from here but I got a sense that a lot of people around me were local and came frequently. Yes, it is both romantic and hard to get the waiters attention. You come here because you really like sitting with your friend and talking for a long time. The small plates are awesome and it's well worth going whether you get to sit outside our not.

This is a beautiful cafe that faces the Geneva Lake so that you can enjoy people watching while dining al fresco. I was with a group of 3 others and we decided to order 10 tapas to share between us. Among the items tried were zucchini stuffed lamb, hummus with pitas, chicken wings, crispy tuna rolls, charcuterie, spinach feta cake, Roquefort with apples and nuts and crayfish with lime. The food was decadent and delicious! We all left very full and satisfied. My personal favorite was the crispy tuna rolls. The service is a little slow due to the fact that each server has many many tables that they wait on at once. But the food and view make this a great spot to check out!

My fiancee and I were looking for places to eat that were not crazy expensive. Switzerland, as…read moremost of you know, is one of the most expensive countries in Europe, if not the most expensive. I was not too hungry, but he was super hungry. I looked up a few places and this place popped up. It was within walking distance of our hotel so we gave it a shot. We walked in and the guy asked if we had a reservation, to which we said no. I thought he would say he was out of room, but he offered us the communal table. There was another middle-aged couple sitting at the end. They kept looking over at us; it was a little creepy. The menu was all in French. And since neither of us can speak, let alone read French, we used Google translate to figure out what some of the words were. The server was able to explain to us what everything was and we were able to place our order. My fiancee got a meal-sized salad. And it was really big. We both thought it was going to be small, but he said it was filling, and probably the best Cesar salad he ever had. I ordered the small beef tartare, which is 180grams. I also expected it to be small. But I was so wrong. It's the size of a hockey puck and a little thicker than one, and it comes with a side of roasted potatoes, a small salad, and bread to spread the tartare on. By the end of meal, I was so stuffed. I am really glad we found this place.

So good. Large plates and great taste. For paying, go up to the counter after your meal.read more

The interior of the restaurant is very modern, with the main feature being a large, clean and well-stocked bar in the middle of the room. All the furniture and thick and bold abstract designs in darker colors give the place a swanky feel. The service was excellent, with the staff giving us great recommendations for both food and drinks. The drinks were among the best cocktails I've had in Geneva- heavy on ginger (try the Jaya!) and tropical fruits (try anything with passion fruit- delish!). By the end of the second drink we were happy that we had made a reservation, as the place fills up quickly! Be sure to call ahead. At the server's recommendation, our party of five ordered five cold and five hot dishes, which are served tapas-style. To be brief, let me just say that this was a truly sensational and unique meal, combining some of my favorite foods and flavors- seafood, lime, pork, ginger, squid ink, and wasabi, to name a few, in addition to the more familiar Peruvian features- potatoes, peppers, cocona, and chicken. All items were served correctly to temperature, and the plating was exquisite- playing on colors and textures. The flavors mimicked the colors- with pops of tart or sweet flavors layered with more nuanced notes. If I had to chose my favorite dishes, I would say that I best enjoyed the cold ceviches and the panceta or the causa negra con pulpo (featuring potatoes with squid ink!). All very delicious. I would say that overall I preferred the hot to the cold appetizers, but I am always a sucker for a good ceviche. Although we all had a bit of a gasp at the high bill, I can say that the experience was well worth the high price tag. Definitely worth a trip!

Stopped here for lunch, the menu was 28 CHF and I received a lovely little amuse bouche sushi looking little treat of rice and salmon with a nice sauce. Very tasty. I chose a potato entree with tuna topped with some sliced red onion all sitting on a bed of a wonderful creamy, slightly peppery sauce. After they took that empty plate they brought us little round breads and I was wishing for them so I could have soaked up that leftover sauce from the first dish. My main dish was cabbillaud with vegetables. Sounds plain but it was not, seasoning was wonderful and fish was perfect. I have pictures posted of both dishes, they are gorgeous.

We ordered the mixed platter, one kibbie, and a small tabouli salad. The Kibbie was so good that we finished before we were able to take a picture...sorry. The Mixed Platter was great. It had chicken, lamb, kofta with a bit of labne, hummus, and a salad of lettuce, tomato and onion. The tabouli was beautiful and it also eaten almost completely before we got a picture.
