I switched to this service and so far it works well. The pricing is competitive to excellent versus other services. There is a plug in device involved but that was literally plug and play. Their app is pretty good and their customer service is great -- attentive and it feels almost like a Mom and Pop shop. For the most part I have dealt with human beings! I am on a three month trial price but so far think I will be keeping the service. Bonus that they ported my old number over. 4/5 stars but I rarely give a perfect score. Recommend. read more

I switched from AT&T to Voiply for my home phone service. I am very thankful and grateful. I was paying $52 a month with AT&T. It started out as a $20 plan, but there are so many taxes. There is going to be a major phase out of home landlines eventually. I am not ready for that yet, so I decided to switch to a cheaper service, as I am paying way too much. So far, I am happy with the switch. I paid $160.43 for the entire year with the promotion of 2 months FREE, that is 12 months of service. With AT&T that would only be 3 months. I am please with the service. They have great features that include voicemail, call blocking, call forwarding, configuring SMS and so much more. I believe it to be good quality service for the price. I live on a fixed income, so this is extremely helpful to me, as it is saving me over $600 annually. I had a few issues in the beginning that I needed assistance with in resolving. It is hard to make changes and getting use to this world using A.I. to run their businesses. However, the online chat and customer support phone line helped and when the A.I. assistance was not able to resolve the issue I was referred to a real live human being who reached out to me either by phone or e-mail to resolve the issue. All issues were resolved. I felt like a valued customer that they appreciated for switching to them. So not only is it a great value, it is also great customer service, as well. I am impressed. Great customer service! I needed to change my voip service. I'm 76 years old so I have no idea who to choose. I picked Voiply because I liked the name. Normally customer service is not very good with these companies. But this one was a pleasant surprise. They communicated from the start with the process and progress of my order. why: the service was not up to par. i called and sent chat a message prior to my renewal to cancel however the system would not allow me to log in- which i made at least 10 attempts with your magic link. i am very disappointed bc you have potential but bc ai is the only opt for your customer service, you may have difficulty. also i requested a ticket and was told by the ai agent that i would be contacted within 24 hours and that has yet to happen. i had to make another attempt today and it's been over 48 hours. i tried to cancel on 9/1 but was charged for three months on 9/2. today is 9/3 - still no call or refund. i hope you need those funds more than i do and that you feed a starving child somewhere in the world with it. read more

It has terrible customer service. I have been trying to get them to fix my voice mail system for two weeks. You can only talk to AI "Jack" on the phone or AI "Mike" on Chat. They promise to correct things and give you a ticket number. Then you get an email saying they have fixed things and your ticket is canceled. I've never written a review of a company before but my experience with this company was so bad I am forced to. Worst customer service possible. They are the poster child for everything wrong with this new AI customer service that companies love and customers hate. Phone, chat, text, etc. all goes to this loony AI that sends you around in circles. It is almost impossible to get a real customer service agent even when necessary to handle tasks not covered by the AI. On top of everything else, I now I have to figure out how to cancel my service because I transferred my number to a reliable provider and I don't know a number to get back into my account. The loony AI can't even understand my email address to recover the information. Initially they initiated a transfer port of a number before I was ready. Told them to stop the port, they said they would do so and at the same time they were sending me automated emails that the port was in progress. Port went through and there was the possibility of losing my number. Terrible experience from beginning to end... my advice, stay as far away from this company as possible. read more

We've had voiply for 5+ years. Works well, solid performance. All issues over the years have traced back to my internet service provider or home network. It requires some tech savvy to get it and keep it running in a home network. I suspect most all problems other reviewers have are network problems which can be puzzling. A service I would not recommend. This company does not provide a good phone service nor customer service. I opened up a monthly agreement to use their service on a monthly basis to try them out. I was charged $19.46 that was suppose to be for the 1st and 2nd month services. Then I was charged $14.20 in November and $14.00 in December. The service charges were not consistent from month to month, but the service seemed to be good. So I decided to enroll in their annual plan, which was suppose to get 2 months free for doing so. After I enrolled in the annual plan, my issues started with this company. After attempting to enroll the annual plan, on the Voiply web site, it stated my transaction was declined. I thought it was a system issue due to I had several $1000 available on my credit card and it was the current credit card I was paying my monthly plan through. So I tried again the next day to enroll in the annual plan. Once again, on the Voiply website I received a declined message, so I tried a different credit card, same issue. The next day I received phone calls from both of my credit card company's stating that my cards were blocked due possible fraud since there were so many failed attempts that Voiply attempted to process. I had only attempted 2 times with the first card and once with the 2nd card. I have no idea how many times Voiply attempted to process the transaction. This was the start of my problems. Due to my Credit Card blocking the transaction, Voiply decided to cancel my services for non payment, even though I had already paid for my service on a monthly basis. So I contacted Voiply, they re-established my plan under the monthly service, but by doing so they charged my credit card again for a monthly fee. After I complained about the double charge, instead of getting a refund, they charged me a 3rd time. I figured I would give them a 2nd chance. In January they charged my card $14.60, as I said no consistency in their monthly fees. I went to use my phone one day to place a call and found that I had no service. I contacted Voiply and was told that it was due to non payment. My service was paid until the end of February. I also to Voiply, since I had prepaid a month, technically my phone service should have been valid until March. The representative told me that I was confused that the first payment that I made was for the 1st month and for the equipment, their little phone adapter. I totally disagreed with them and stated that the adapter was shipped to me and was suppose to be free. To no avail in my argument, I ended up cancelling their service. Upon doing so, I had to pay for a return label, since they would provide a free one. I was also told that upon providing a tracking number, I would receive a refund for the last months payment within 24 hours. I didn't receive my refund until 2 weeks later. Long story short, this company is all into taking you money, not providing you service and jerking you around in the process. Don't use them. This is a poor service. read more
