I have been all around north San Diego County and I have to say that this is the only nail salon I will ever go to again until the day I die. Not only does Michael do an amazing job (even my husband notices) but he remembers everything about me, my life, etc. Even when I'm having a bad hair day, my nails look perfect. Everyone who comes in there are repeat customers and everyone who works in the salon knows the clients by name and asks them specific questions about their lives in greeting. Where else are you going to be remembered? My nails last a full month--now *that's* never happened before. Super high quality products, and Michael's so honest, he told me to take a break, give my nails some time to breathe. I came here with my mother for pedicures for my birthday, and we were both beyond disappointed. I'm giving two stars because the end result was fine, my nails are done and don't look terrible. But I took three stars off because the entire experience was rushed and awkward! We were in and out in TWENTY minutes. 25$ for a 20 minute pedicure? WHat a joke. The entire process was so rushed and we just got that feeling like they would rather be doing anything else. THe massages for both of us were the worst ones we have received, I almost asked her to just skip it it was so weak. And then the girl who did my moms nails, Tutu I think they called her? Well she was SO rude and spent the entire time laughing and talking with the other clients and employees while ignoring her client and doing a less than desirable job. maybe we came on an off day since people clearly love this place, but our experience sucked and we will not be back. read more

I've only been in here twice, but it's by far my favorite nail salon in the area. They put a scrub on your feet during the basic pedicure and only after thoroughly scrubbing all calluses. Most places barely scrub, so I think that's one thing that sets this place above the others in a similar price range. The other is how well they do the shellac. I'm not sure if it's the brand they use or the special care taken to apply, but it doesn't not start peeling for at least 2 weeks. Other places after about a week I notice one nail starting to come up and by day 10 I am snagging my hair in my nails because many are lifting. It is a little harder to get an appointment as it is a small salon, but it's totally worth it! I have only gone in last minute, so have not had the two main guys (I think are both part owners) but everyone I have had takes tremendous care in every step of the mani and pedi and I leave with gorgeous nails and feeling a little pampered as well! read more

Absolutely my new nail place! I went for the first time today after reading all of the great reviews. It's very clean and nice decor. Comfortable chairs for a pedicure. You will pay a few bucks more than a typical nail salon but it's totally worth it. Madison did my pedi and it seemed like she really cared about the quality of her work. Some places will be sure to get paint on your nails but that's it. They are very professional and seemed interested in what they are doing more so than their conversations with each other. Although if they are talking to each other it's in English so you don't have to wonder what they're saying. The foot and calf massage was so nice and when she scrubbed my heels she double checked she got all of the spots before she was finished. Wonderful paint job too. And they offer drinks. It's a small salon but they seem to know most of their clients and I think they like to keep it that way. It's a hidden gem, I highly recommend them. read more

In my opinion This is the best nail salon in San Diego county! Nam does fantastic work and puts absolute love in what he does! I drive all the way to Encinitas from Vista just to see Nam and get my nails and feet done by him. I recommend everybody to go to Vogue nails. Outstanding service and then some! Nam, his brother and the entire staff at Vogue Nails are always fun, positive and happy to see you! They run a very professional salon, providing excellent acrylic, gel and natural nails. They are fast, cheerful and great conversationalists. They are meticulous, keeping their instruments and their salon sparkling clean and creating beautiful nails. After five years, I have never had any problems, and now have my teenage daughters come to Nam. The prices are more than reasonable while the customer service is better than many pricier salons I've visited. He books up quickly and has a loyal, devoted following, so be prepared to wait for your appointment. But when you get there, they are super fast and still perfectionists. I work in a very professional environment and feel super confident after I get manicures here. My girls are more daring and get exactly what they want. Last minute on Saturday, I wanted to get a mani/pedi and went here. I called and got an appointment a half hour later. I got Tutu and she is fantastic. Tutu gave me a great mani/pedi and was very chatty and sociable. I will definitely be back. $40 for a mani/spa pedi is not a bad price too! read more

I came in looking for a new place for my nails. Yelp reviews were so positive that I felt confident I would have a good experience. From the start they were so courteous and attentive. I was offered something to drink as soon as I put my feet in the warm water. Amy answered my questions about eyelash extensions and I decided since my time was limited let's switch from mani pedi to eyelash extensions. I saw pictures on their website and outside their front door that showed excellent results so I was again confident I was in good hands. Amy was so sweet and made sure I was comfortable. I put on my headphones and actually fell asleep, it was so relaxing! The results were so beautiful and natural. Really framed my eyes and instantly gave me a more youthful appearance! I didn't tell my fiance and waited to see his reaction. He kept telling me how beautiful I looked but didn't specifically notice the lashes until the next day! It is so nice to not have to wear make up and look awake and put together. I am going to keep these lashes going long term. It's been 2 weeks and they STILL look perfect! Personally, while I've never done Botox, I think this has more impact because it creates a youthful look in a more natural way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Second time here tonight for my gel manicure- Michael has done mine and I leave happy every time!! Seems that people get thrown off when they aren't able to take walk ins-- Since I have been there Michael has taken an hour on my nails. I'm sure they aren't able to take walk ins at times because they like to take their time on each individual client and make sure their client leaves happy. Normal places where you walk in just want to take your money and rush you out. This is the only place where I have left and felt like my money was well spent :) read more
