The last time I came a few months back, there seemed to be ongoing reorganization so I wasn't able to see everything they had to offer. While I could see it being a nice place to play for some especially with it boasting many weekly events for a variety of card games (Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic, Pokemon), I felt the sealed and single selections were both pricey and less plentiful compared to what I have seen at other shops. Some services such as the charging station are great to offer especially when games of commander can take up a an hour or more!

I can always appreciate the range from near mint to heavily played singles with fair pricing based on condition as sometimes you just want a card for your personal collection, not to ship to PSA. The brothers that run the shop have always been kind and I've had great offers for cards that I have brought to trade in. In addition to Pokemon, they have sealed Magic, Lorcana, and One Piece products for fair prices too. They have a wider variety of Pokemon singles displayed in binders, but upon my recent visit, I've noticed that they have expanded to One Piece and Disney singles as well. Aside from tcg, they also have older video games and consoles. I always enjoy my visit to Mero when I am in the area and love that hit of nostalgia when I stop by!

Well-organized, vibrant, easy to navigate BIG selection of things from nostalgic toys, games, books, collectibles... you name it....Ghostbusters, Mario, Star Wars, Hot Wheels, My Little Pony, Funko, etc. I'm not well-versed in the super nerdy things but my friend is and he goes nuts in here. The owner is really nice and is very knowledgeable about the products (which are more than reasonably priced). The owner is so knowledgeable in fact, that he takes part in the local Ventura Theater Toy Con twice a year (I believe he's the main guy behind it) which is SO SO much fun and I scored lots of unique things there last year. If you have not been, it is a must and happening this Saturday, June 22nd at 10am! We didn't have any penny sleeves or toploaders so I needed to come back. The owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The prices for everything was also very competitive and reasonably priced. They also do grading services which I can't wait to bring my cards in to get graded! Overall the experience was great and I can't wait to come back here!

I'm new to painting these things and he was nice enough to show me how to highlight and make my metal look more realistic. He also recommended some colors for me to try that he personally uses, and showed me examples on models he was working on. I can only imagine how awesome this store is without the covid restrictions. Only 2 customers are currently allowed in at once. A customer joined in our conversation and we were cut short because a third customer wanted to do some shopping. I imagine that during "normal" times there's games going on and stuff inside. I will be stopping back next month on my next visit to Socal to purchase a few things so I can try to make my fantasy dwarf army compatible with the new game format. Definitely worth stopping by!

They have such interesting merchandise including an assortment of unique gift cards, maps, pictures, stylish hats, scarves, and rare books to name just a percentage of what they have to offer. The sales associate was very friendly and helpful. He even tried on a hat I wanted to buy my husband and was concerned about the size. He let me know they take returns within 30 days with the receipt and original tagging. Fortunately it fit! This amazing shop is on Main Street which is closed to through traffic. There is free publick parking just down the street at the Museam of Ventura County. It is also in a great location for other speacialty stores and eateries.

I have a small business myself and to me it's more important to provide service to my clients that will support the ongoing relationship and reputation rather than holding rigidly to small print to "protect" a $20 transaction. This store does not hold the same business philosophy that i do. that said, Copperfield's has lost any future business or referrals from my family who have been repeat customers for years.
