This cute theatre is located on the back side (west side) of the marcus center. Space holds less than 500 so its quite an intimate space. We have seen several performances here so far: We recently saw George Winston (former windham Hill star) who have an amazing piano performance. We also saw the book of "moron" thanks to free tickets from yelp. And no I did not mean book of mormon, which is also good but different. Book of moron was a one man show and it was fantastic. We are fortunate enough to have many performance spaces in Milwaukee and this one is a gem. The place has a little bar in the lobby. Seats were comfortable.

    Nice setting

It was my first time to Vogel Hall tonight. I have only been in the main theater in the past. This is a more intimate setting with 500 seats. You are able to get a good view of the performance from any seat in the house. We got to see "Book of Moron" Not to be confused with "Book of Mormon." The seats are relatively comfortable and there is a small lobby where you can purchase alcoholic and regular beverages. Each seat has a cup holder in front of it. To get here through the sky walk we had to maneuver through the Marcus to a freight elevator and make our way down to the first floor. Getting out of the parking garage was even a bigger maze.

We ordered 10 wings without realizing that Wednesdays were unlimited wing nights. No one explained how the special worked, and the staff acted as though we should have already known the rules. When we asked another bartender whether we could order another round of 10 because the wings were unlimited, he responded that he "didn't know what that means." He then explained that we could order as many as we wanted as long as we didn't take them to go which we already understood. We were simply trying to order another round. I understand that the bar was busy, but we were rarely checked on or asked whether we wanted another drink or anything else. The wings were good, although I personally didn't understand all the hype. If you're in your mid-20s and looking for a younger, more welcoming atmosphere, I would recommend trying somewhere else.

Lots of live music, and the joint really does get jumping! It has everything a music venue needs. The area around the stage area is expansive. The other feature, is a bar area off to the side, so if you need a break from loud rock and roll (but who needs a break from that!) to chat with your friends, there it is. Friendly bartenders, great drink specials, nice pours, CLEAN BATHROOMS. They also have delicious Heineken 0.0 if you do not wish to imbibe (as I did not on the night I was there), but still want to look and feel like you're drinking a beer. Try that too! At Georges!

The special was a grilled cheese and meatloaf sandwich (with a side of their special pineapple coleslaw) The sand- wich was large was toasted to perfection. It even had pickles on it. It was different and seriously delicious!! My daughter-in-law had the mac 'n cheese with chicken strips. It looked amazing. The portion was so big, she had to take half of it home. The salads are huge and one of those will be my next choice. This bar as been around for years. (the owners retired) There is live music often and there are two area with tables, one in the primary bar room and another where the band would be. There are also booths along the back wall. The bar was clean and the new owner, Caleb, was very friendly. I bet people don't think of George's as a lunch or dinner destination, but I highly recommend it.

The menu was 20/10, lots of options to choose from even with a large party and customized smaller menu you would find in a normal sit down restaurant. Staff was not prepared at all, actually telling people the guy who usually does speech did not come and they do not know what to say actually. For any alcohol you will buy you will pay in addition which is fine BUT the price for that drink(s) will be surprising you a lot. For 5 sake drinks the bill was around $370. Last two glasses were having less sake than first glasses we were provided, probably because people who already drunk something would not notice the difference. It's ok to have expensive alcohol pairing with high end dinner but in this case the sake was very regular. By the way, at bar 10 steps away from the Dark room (same hotel, same floor, same the floor area) the same sake did cost $23 for two glasses. Well... I understand people try to run business and earn money but everything should not cross some decency borders. These guys did cross the line in my opinion. Alcohol prices are not mentioned in Menu by the way. I do not recommend this place not only due to drinks pricing policy but due to "ok" food/service/price ratio

We had a 2:00 reservation and got seated around 2:35. Meanwhile I enjoyed a delicious rasberry/lemon drop martini at the bar. Check photos posted, it pretty much listed what was on the buffet. The only disappointment was the didnt have much of a childrens section and my grandchildren are very picky eaters. I did ask our server if they could order off the regular children's menu but I understood that that was not possible but it was okay. They filled up on bacon, strawberries, croissants and deserts. Our server was very efficient and there was definitely enough staff to handle this crowd. Very positive experience

Unfortunately, this second dinner was even worse than the first. The rice was undercooked, the short ribs were dry, and the scallops were gritty. I realize that, for some people, the Buy One, Get One promotion is a big draw. However, I suspect that the menu prices are inflated to offset the BOGO savings, so it doesn't end up being much of an actual benefit. My wish is that they would focus on improving the quality and consistency of the food and charge prices that appropriately cover their costs while still allowing them to make a profit. I don't think we'll be coming back anytime soon, which is sad because there is so much to like about the location and atmosphere.
