Ladies and gentlemen, I rarely post reviews. I had an old Circuit breaker box issue; that was a mess, breaker overload with today's new appliances, frayed wires (potentially fire hazard). Parents had just a handyman do something inside the box some 25+ years ago. Well, issues started. Mr. Chip Vogel arrived @ least 30minutes prior to scheduled appointment time. completed the job. Explained problem in lame man's terms, tested for & repaired all necessary problems and hazards. I am 100% satisfied with the service repair I received. Price was reasonable. Chip's honesty, hard work and professionalism is just off the chart! A few fantastic jokes along the way. I even tried to give a tip at the end, he kindly refused. I responded with: If not for your work; let me at least tip you for the laughs! People I had to force a tip on him and threatened him with an attack from my Garfield cat. He showed up 15-20 mins early to be on time for us, extremely punctual. Chip did an amazing job and fixed a complicated electrical problem we had, and also changed out plugs for us as well. He showed up on time repaired the main issue and because he was so fast I asked him to repair other little outlets that had either blown or just needed the plugs changed. He was a little pricey I though but I am happy with all the work he performed. When I replace my ceiling fan in the den I will call him to do it. Chip was Johnny on the spot HELPFUL when I was in a very uncertain safety predicament with the ground at my home. I'd been told by another (local chain) company the house was NOT grounded, could have a fire any time and needed many thousands of dollars to remedy it. What can I say about Chip...very down to earth ..very knowlegable.... unlike the others who came by and I would call them the "I think" guys..i told chip what my issues were and I had multiple problems ... right from the get go he went to panel and found 1 issue and fixed it... I had a outlet that wasn't working outside and he checked every single outlet that was gfi protected ...and even went to attic to see if the issue was there... funny thing was we actually found the switch that controlled it but he had that ...im not leaving till we find and fix the problem mentality... Chip Vogel is a knowledgable and dependable electrician. He knows his stuff! We've lived in our home for over a year now and have been in need of some re-wiring to make switches and lights work properly in the bedroom of our finished basement. He came over, looked at it for 1 minute, grabbed his tool case and had our light switches re-wired and working perfectly in no time! I own an old Craftsman house in Riverside and came across some questionable electrical in my attic. I called Vogel Electric and they were very friendly and professional. Chip, the owner, told me he could come over and take a look. He was prompt and ready to work. My house has knob and tube along with updated electrical so there were some areas he recommended I should change over to be current. He changed over the questionable electrical into a new box and now I can sleep better at night knowing It is fixed.
