We just wanted to give a shout out for Radiology nurse Laura…read more On April 22 my 87 year old husband underwent a suprapubic catheterization at Emerson Radiology. His nurse Laura rated a #10 in every aspect of nursing. She had a way of blending knowledge, efficiency and kindness to make this a comfortable experience for my husband. Our thanks to her, P&K

But that aside, when you're called into one of the little rooms off the waiting area where you are checked in, the staff person calls out all of your personal information for verification - dob, address, phone, primary care doctor, insurance, etc. - very clearly for everyone in the waiting room to hear. It's unbelievable in day and age to have no privacy concerns. It was pretty appalling.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Dr. Paul Costa and Concord Plastic Surgery. I was…read morehopeful before my surgery, and I am ecstatic with my results. At five weeks post-op, I still can't believe the difference. Just as important, I have been extremely happy with the entire experience. The office responds quickly to my emails, my follow-up appointments never feel rushed, and I always feel heard and genuinely cared for. From my initial consultation, through surgery and all of my post-op care, my experience has been exactly what I had hoped for. I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Costa and his entire team.

I had previously undergone two breast lifts. Dr. Costas did not inform me of the possibility of…read moreincreased scar tissue with repeated procedures at the exact location; in fact, there was very little communication on his part throughout the procedure or during aftercare meetings. I developed keloid scars under both breasts. Still, he did not inform me what I had or how to help myself. He repeatedly advised massaging the area with vitamin E. Keloid scarring is irritating and erythematous. The scars are raised and thick. I would not recommend this doctor. He does not take the time to evaluate each patient properly, and his communication skills are inadequate. I waited to write this to see if my scars would heal over time, and they have not. Working with him was the worst decision I have made in the field of plastic surgery. There is more, as he did three procedures, but I will not go on. I wasted my money and am permanently scarred. The lack of communication left me feeling empty, uncared for, and cheated. Please! Find someone who listens, asks about your health condition and previous procedures, gives you the facts, and treats you like an individual with unique concerns. 12/31/25. What happened to the Hippocratic Oath?…read more I will NEVER give them my business ever again. If I was actively on fire, I would not stop in for help. had an acute painful issue and needed to see them urgently, I saw a nurse practitioner who (was by far the nicest person I worked with there) - she referred me to a specialist and my only option to be seen in less than two weeks was to go to the Boston office. About a week passed where I was still in pain... I went there, saw a specialist who...(really could use some bedside manor training) - told me I was too late, the problem should resolve on its own. For these delays, multiple visits and --- 0 relief in close to a month, I was charged over $800! I came to them seeking help, and they hurt me financially. I appealed to them that I should not be charged, certainly for the 0 value specialist visit. They told me to pound sand. Run, don't walk away from these money grubbing AHOLES.

It's so bad I've been thinking of going elsewhere. I've had the caller queue to just begin speaking with a triage nurse, even in the morning, be up to 11 calls ahead of me. When you ask,"Thank you for calling AFA, could you hold?" Actually wait for the response to your question instead of putting you back hold for forever. Longest I was on hold with them was 40 minutes until I was disconnected. I've seen a few different doctors the years I've gone here and none of them are insightful, have bedside manner or make you feel comfortable. It's like being on an assembly line. Some of us have had painful contractions and no assistance what so ever with complications. You would think that the women working there would show compassion...they don't. They don't care if there's urgent matters that can't be solved with calling 9-1-1. If a pregnancy is at risk you need to respect that, at least let patients leave a message so they don't have to waste time. Their phlebotomist shouldn't be taking blood from people. Two friends of mine had no choice but to be patients here and we all ended up with intense bruises for weeks after, when the main hospital lab doesn't even leave a mark. I don't trust them to care about my baby. Take this as constructive. If you have enough patients voicing concerns...stop trying to save face by replying with,"Your care is important to us, we take our work seriously..." Then fix yourselves. Not going back.
