Dr. Gustafson himself has been understanding, logical and beyond kind when all illnesses and situations have descended upon myself. While his quiet demeanor does mask his personality at times, never has he not done the right thing for myself. Dr. Gustafson medical knowledge can not be questioned as he has always tracked down resolution for any and all of my issues with his care and compassion standing out. Numerous times has Dr.G called me at night and weekends after receiving test results late in the day or evenings. I consider myself as being fortunate as can be being part of his practice and would recommend him to anyone in need of a GP who you can have faith in to do the correct things for your needs.

Called today for triage of symptoms and was told "we lost your records, go to the ER." Asked to speak with a manager and was directed to another office employee - not a manager who said we would be called back. No call back, called again to follow up 3hrs later and received the answering service indicating the office is not open today. Cannot get a straight answer, where are the medical records (is that a HIPPA violation??), and how can we get treatment at the ER when my medical insurance requires a Primary Care provider and my Primary care provider "lost my records??"

My child has a few health issues which has always been dealt with respectfully and with care. He was even dx'd with T1D and told me the two choices I had to go to for hospitals. My child is 16 now. I have never regretted my decision in picking this facility and this particular doctor. After seeing the care that my chd receives- I switched to a doctor at this facility because other places kept losing people and I kept getting shuffled around. Being a T1D I didn't want to have to keep explaining everything. I noticed that AFM seems to keep their doctors. I've also had completely wonderful care. It's refreshing to see my doctor truly listen and care about what is happening and to follow up to ensure all is still well. This place is wonderful and the doctors are caring and attentive. Also, when she asked me about exercise, I told her that I work out every day. That is because I do workout every day. In her notes, she stated that "patient claims to work out "every day"" -complete with quotes around every day. What the heck was that supposed to mean? Insulting.

Last time I came in she noticed my chart was off and took her time to fix it with me. I come in once a month for follow-ups for my medication, and when Victoria is booked out past when I need to come in Liliana goes above and beyond to squeeze me in! I recommend this office to anyone in the area, and although I live farther away the drive is well worth having a reliable primary care.
